This district, previously a major rice market, showcases the changes Osaka underwent when Japan was opened to the West. Aside from nearby Osaka Castle, the historic walking course along Mido-suji Avenue is popular with visitors for its featured turn-of-the-century architecture. Nakanoshima Park, situated between the Dojima and Tosabori Rivers, includes a garden with 4,000 varieties of roses and the Museum of Oriental Ceramics well-known for its collection of Chinese and Korean pieces.

The Weekly Mansions in Japan are literally rentable apartments. If you're travelling in a group, you can fit lots of people in these and the price is fixed. It has a full kitchen, huge balcony, and feels Japanese. I think that some Japanese people actually live at these places because the price is good enough.

Since living in Japan is expansive, the weekly mansion in Osaka is a good choice for those think hotels are expansive. The weekly mansion is definitely not a hotel so it will give u room service unless u told the m the day before. Overall it is comfort to stay

Very friendly and helpful staff that spoke good english. Room was big enough to fit 2 more beds. Microwave and separate sink were great additions. Bathroom was a little small, but manageable. The hotel was really hard to find when we first arrived, but overall a great deal for 8 days in Osaka.

I have travelled to Japan before, and was pleasantly surprised by the room size of this hotel. Compared to other places I stayed in, it was huge. I liked this hotel because it was more like an apartment than a hotel room, so you felt at home away from home. The kitchen facilities also saved us some time an money having to go out and look for breakfast every day, and the many convienience stores located nearby made buying food very easy. Another great thing about this hotel is that it's located so close to the subway station, and only a 10 minute walk from Osaka Castle. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the staff were really friendly and helpful, and I would definitely stay there again.

We looked at various hotels in the Osaka area and was planning to book 2-3 single rooms for 5 of us travling together. This property has great 2 and 3 bedroom apartments which worked out really good in terms of cost and conveniece. We rented the 3 bedroom and had a good time all staying in the same quaters with our separate bedrooms. Location is excellent for going to Nara, Kyoto and visiting surrounding areas in Osaka. Tennoji Station for the Keisei line is within about 15 minutes walk if you want to visit Kyoto. And subway station is around the block for the Tanimachi Line. Excellent location and facility. We were all very happy there.

Kitchen with appliances and cookware was great, really allowed for saving money on the trip. Location was a bit difficult to find, even for local taxi drivers. Also not convenient to JR stations, but local access to Osaka subway system.

Not my first trip to Osaka, but my first time to book all my own travel and get myself around. Directions available from the hotel website from the airport to the hotel were very easy, staff was pleasant and spoke English. I had a small but well equipped studio, with a little cooking area. Subway is close, internet hookup included. Excellent deal for the money.

For the money, an excellent value. Easy to get to from Kansai Airport – print the directions located on the hotel website. I had a one bed studio, private bath-shower in the room, cooking facilities in room, a decent internet connection, subway is close by and a little grocery is about 3 blocks away. Staff was friendly, professional and spoke English.
