Set in downtown Victoria, the Oswego Hotel is within 2 blocks of the Royal BC Museum, the Inner Harbour, Parliament Buildings, and Pacific Undersea Gardens. Chinatown and the Maritime Museum of British Columbia are both less than 2 km away.
Hotel Features.
The 10-story Oswego Hotel's contemporary lobby provides complimentary fruit-infused water, a 24-hour front desk, and complimentary newspapers. O Bistro specializes in cocktails and West Coast-style tapas, with indoor or terrace dining available. The hotel offers event space for up to 20 guests, as well as complimentary wireless Internet access throughout. A 24-hour fitness room has strength-training and cardio machines. Parking is available in an onsite garage (surcharge). Oswego Hotel is entirely smoke-free.
Guestrooms.
All 80 modern guestrooms include CD players and 32-inch flat-screen TVs. Wireless Internet access, daily newspaper delivery, and local calls are all complimentary. French press coffeemakers are provided. Bathrooms feature bathrobes, separate bathtubs and showers, hair dryers, and complimentary Acca Kappa toiletries. Many rooms have furnished balconies with views of the harbour, city, mountains, or Parliament. All rooms are non-smoking.

Would definitely stay again, wish we had more time to enjoy all the amenities offered...all you would expect from a luxury golf resort & spa.

Our stay at Deer Harbor Resort was pleasant but not outstanding. Positives include: Friendly staff, clean room, personal hot tub on deck, lots of towels, fireplace and a nice breakfast spread in the morning. Negatives include: no pet friendly rooms, heated pool not open and the mattress was hard and lumpy.

"Unique and sleek in Victoria"
The hotel is tucked behind a larger hotel, making it somewhat difficult to find, and imparing the view of the harbor. The lobby is beautiful and the bar is very pleasant. From the moment we arrived we had a great experience with this hotel. The front desk gentleman was friendly and helpful and our room was wonderful. Great location and I would highly recommend this hotel.

"If you discount the bed & brunch it is fine"
Overall, disappointing. The hotel itself is quite lovely inside and the separate shower and soaking tub was a great ammenity. All rooms do not have balconies as it claims on hotels.com. Also the bed awas a Murphey bed taht had the comfort of a fold-out couch bed. the brunch is not brunch, it is their breakfast menu. Overall disappointing.
Hotel was close to one of our favourite restaurants - Harbour House.

"Oswego - great for everything but sleeping"
We loved the hotel until it was time to go to bed. We had a studio suite and the bed is a murphy bed. the mattress was soft, almost lumpy, and easily taco-ed around you.

This Hotel was MUCH nicer than I expected. I was shocked at how nice and quiet the room was. I opened the windows and listened to the seagulls and slept like a baby. The Hotel is really a condo building, so the rooms are legit one bedroom condos. I can't emphasize enough at how great this room is. "The Hotel Oswego Victoria BC ideal in many ways"
This is a perfect hotel for visits to Victoria. Pros: outstanding location one block from harbor and main attractions but nestled in what feels like a suburban neighborhood. Huge suites with separate bedroom, balconies, full kitchen with lots of extras. Small hotel with personal touches. Excellent quiet restaurant. "GREAT HOTEL!"
This hotel was great. It was clean, spacious and had everything that we needed (except a hot tub). I would recommend it to anyone. The only downsides were that itsa 5-8 minute walk to the heart of downtown and the pillows and bed were not the best. Other than that, perfect.

"Wonderful boutique hotel by the Victoria harbor"
My wife and I just came back from a trip to Victoria with my parents, and we were delighted with the Oswego Hotel. The rooms were large, clean, and had an extremely comfortable feel to them -- from the furniture to the kitchenette. The service was also spectacular, culminating in the hotel's insistence on hand-delivering my wife's hot chocolate to […] our room for no charge when they found out it was our anniversary. Location-wise, the hotel is just two blocks off the harbor, putting it in walking distance for every place we wanted to go in the city center. Making things even more convenient, the hotel has a garage for guests and the overnight parking charge was extremely reasonable. We will definitely be staying at the Oswego Hotel on our next trip to Victoria. Read more

"The Oswego is almost perfect!"
The staff was excellent in responding to any request and consistently courteous. I was very happy with the room, except the cleaning wasn't very thorough. I will most certainly return to The Oswego! Forget about ordering breakfast in your room. Fortunately, you can walk right next door to Vic's Steakhouse for a great brunch or breakfast.

The overall look and feel of the guestroom lived up to our expectation based on the pictures and descriptions provided. The unit was clean and did not have any unpleasant odor. The floorplan is comparable to a one bedroom apartment with a separate shower and tub in the bathroom. There was no wireless internet access in the room, but not a big deal. We […] got a unit on the 3rd Flr of the hotel (the hotel has a total of 10 floors) for the rate that we paid and the length of the stay. The floor has a supply room which was accessed frequently by the staff in the morning. The staff at the check-in desk seemed very friendly and greeted us as we first entered the hotel. We only spent one night in Victoria BC. The hotel room is equipped with a full kitchen which included cookware and utensils and would definitely have been more ideal for a longer-term stay. Read more
"The Oswego Hotel in Victoria. Great place/location"
Found a great deal on the website and booked the hotel all on my iphone. Showed up and checked-in with ease, had some strawberry water while doing so and then headed up to our room. We didn't even notice when booking the room that it included a full kitchen. This was a fantastic bonus as we were just returning from the cabin and decided to stay in Victoria […] for a couple of days. We were able to cook with ease in the fully stocked kitchen. Room was great, just like living in a condo. Nice furnishings, 4 piece bath, 2 lcd's and even organic fair trade coffee in the rooms. Staff was great and we will stay here again the next time we are in Victoria for sure. Even if you don't need the kitchen, feels more like you are staying in a home and not just a hotel. 2 thumbs up! From the outside, the hotel looks really nice and felt quaint. At this time of the year, the room was boiling hot with no air conditioning and was unbearable to be in. Also the gym was a joke. We would not stay here again.

I had a great stay at the Oswego Hotel in Victoria this past weekend. The hotel is just a couple blocks off the main hotel strip. However, it is COMPLETELY worth it. The hotel was clean, quiet well decorated and the staff was very friendly. The Oswego is very convenient to the Victoria Clipper ferry to/from Seattle - just a couple blocks away from the terminal. It's also within easy walking distance (once you've deposited your luggage) to the Inner Harbour area where most of the tourist activities are. "An excellent hotel if the prices are in your range"
This was a hotel that my fiance and I would not have been able to spring for had we not gotten a fantastic deal. We got one night free, and only had to pay for one other night, so the overall cost wasn't too rough. But once we got there: WOW! This is a fantastic hotel in a beautiful neighborhood, with a very at-home feel to it. The location is amazing, […] a mere 3 blocks from the nerve center of the city (Empress, waterfront, Parliament, etc.). The comfort level in the room is extraordinary. The cleanliness is immaculate. And the staff is kind and helpful. We even got a thank you note from the cleaning staff for leaving a tip. That's a first for us. Were the rates not so prohibitively high, this hotel would be an absolute must for any travelers to Victoria. If we're able to get a similar discount on another trip to Victoria, Oswego Hotel will be tops on our list. Read more

"Pleasantly Surprised..."
The hotel was mere steps away from our docking location for the Victoria Clipper--very handy! It was perfectly situated in the inner harbor and allowed us to move freely for explorations w/out a vehicle. Right next door, we were able to rent scooters to extend our reach on the island. Very nice stay!

This Hotel was great. The location was a bit off the beat and track which is what we really like but it was also close enough to get to the harbour within minutes. The room was very clean and pleasing to the eye. It was fully loaded with applliances, utensils, dishes and really anything you could think of it had. I have stayed at 4 and 5 star Hotels […] in Victoria and never had a nicer room. The Bistro was great for breakfast. The staff were very polite and very caring to our needs. This hotel in now our go to hotel whenever we are in Victoria (which is at least once a year). Read more

Lovely location a block from the Inner Harbor. Hotel needs to do just a couple of small things to make it great...clock radios in bedrooms, chair with desks, functional TV's. Do not allow them to put you in a first floor room, they're behind the kitchen and very noisy

"The Oswego Hotel"
Had a wonderful time! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint would be the bed. It is a pull down from the wall and both my husband and I found it to be uncomfortable (somewhat like sleeping on a pull out couch).

"Fantastic hotel"
I travel all the time for work and pleasure and this is one of the best hotels I've stayed in in the past year. Comfortable, friendly, cozy, and surprisingly well-appointed suites-- even the pots and pans and utensils in the kitchenettes are modern and new. Easy on-street parking, esp on weekends. I had a wonderful, relaxing, restorative stay.
