We enjoyed this hotel. Seemed a little run down on the outside but the inside was nice. Price was perfect and you can't beat the cook to order breakfast. All staff was very nice & I enjoyed the comfort of this hotel.

Overall it was fine. Loved the happy hour, breakfast buffett! The mirrors were not clean in our room(bathroom and/or door mirror) otherwise the room was in good condition. We did wish there were more outlets in the bedroom. Not easy to access existing outlets. We would come back.

The hotel is dated and just okay in cleanliness. What did impress me was TJ! He was out cleaning the sidewalk in the back of the hotel when we arrived. I told him there was some broken glass near my van and asked him if he could pick it up. We went into the hotel and realized we forgot something in the van, so I went back out to get it. He had already […] cleaned up the glass! I thanked him and he thanked me - more than once for staying at the hotel. We saw him again on the way to the manager's reception, which is just pretzels, chips and tortilla chips and cheese (but they were out of tortilla chips the day we were there) and I commented about how late he worked, and he said he loved it. He was always smiling, and it made me happy just talking to him! If all employees were engaged as he was, this would be a spectacular hotel! I counted cleanliness down a little because there seemed to be mildew or mildew stain on the caulk in the tub. Additionally, the pool, and the room surrounding it has an extremely high level of chlorine - it burned my eyes just walking in the room! There were not many restaurants around the hotel. Read more

This is our second stay at this hotel in a 30 day period. I would like to say that the hotel is very nice and the front desk staff is wonderful. On this occasion, though, the bartender at the manager's reception was very rude and acted like he was inconvenienced when I asked for a beer. The hotel is very nice and we had a wonderful stay. It was out anniversary and they sent a card up to our room with a free dessert coupon. The breakfast food was wonderful but they need to figure out a way to not have to wait in the made to order line to just get pancakes.

The stay in our room was good, but the amenities were not. The pool was way too busy. We couldn't even get in. Breakfast would have been great if the African American lady wouldn't hav been so nasty because I turned in my hotel keys early. My 80 year old grandma had to stand while I went back to get a key unacceptable!

The free evening manager's reception and free hot and cold breakfast is wonderful. The pool and hot tub area is a little small. Only about six will fit in hot tub comfortably. The sofa bed in the main living area of King Suite is uncomfortable even for kids.

The only surprise was that the […] TVs were really old and of poor quality. The maintenance man said they were in the process of upgrading all of the rooms and some already had new ones. It is close to Ikea and the Kenwood Mall. The neighborhood itself is basically in business park but there is an Applebees across the street. The hotel needs to do a better job keeping up with their maintenance. But what was most gulling is we reserved a room with a king size bed, and they attempted to put us in a room with one queen bed, saying there were no rooms with king beds left. We thought we were being give a room with two queen beds to replace what we had reserved until we went to […] the room. At that point we told them one queen bed was unacceptable, and suddenly a room with a king size bed appeared. That first experience pretty much ruined our stay there because we felt they were untrustworthy and not very friendly. We do have a preventive maintenance program in place. This should not have been missed. I have looked into the bed type request and have spoke to the staff. The hotel was booked and the staff member did not understand how to unassign room types. The good news is they do now! I am glad to hear we made a good decision and honored the request. Lobby, etc. is gorgeous with a calm tropical oasis feel. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Hotel staff and service was kind and friendly. Pool area was clean and relaxing with the waterfall pool, jacuzzi and sauna room. Could relax in jacuzzi while watching kids in pool.
