2 nights and 3 requests for a remote control for tv were fruitless. Water turned off in the morning - they said 15 - 20 minutes. It was off for 1hour and 45 minutes.

The hotel was fairly clean, although there was at least a year's worth of dust built up on the air conditioner vent in the bathroom that made me wonder what other unseen grime might have existed. The breakfast buffet was hard to find and it's weekend hours weren't posted. Otherwise the hotel was just fine for it's price point.

Located right on the I-95. Service is decent, but the amenities are not that spectacular. The breakfast options are meager and the equipment in the rooms are outdated. The neighborhood is pretty bad too - the police were searching the hotel for a kidnapped child at some point during our stay.

Could deal with paying $10 per night for a fridge and microwave, but what i could not deal with was not having most of the channels as listed. At 4:19am a knock was on the door, police officers were going door to door looking for a run a way girl. Room was humid and day of my check out, all the hotel water was shut off due to an emergency.

Family of 4 just need a place to sleep for the trip going from NYC to Philly. The beds are excellent. It even has control to adjust the mattress firmness on each side of the bed. Unfortunately, I need 2 doubles but they did not have any 2 bed room available during check-in. With just 1 king sized bed, I asked for a rollaway during check-in. They never […] deliver it until I got to reception in person at midnight. The only one they had is tilted to the left because 2 wheels on one side is broken. I had to find a guestbook to keep the bed balanced. The free breakfast is very basic. No hot items like sausage or eggs. Given that there is no nearby restaurant, there is not much of a choice. This hotel should only be used by needy business travelers. You have a great view of the NJ turnpike and a power station. The staff were very nice and the hotel is fine, but the only thing close is an industrial park. The lounge is only open from 5:30 till 10:30. The food was edible but over priced. Only stay here if you have to.

Overall the experience was good. Not very far from NYC. Staff is very supportive. There was some issue with messaging between hotels.com and the hotel. I requested for 2 double bed as I had 4 guests but was given 1 king bed. The staff was ready to shift me to other room but none was available that day. They had one ready for my Day 2.

This hotel is not well kept. Recently stayed there and found the location to be dreary. Its right next to a huge cluster of electrical grids/towers and some electronic warehouse. The hotel messed up our reservation. I booked a room with two double beds and they had it as one king bed - for four people. To make it right they gave us a king suite with a sleeper sofa and a roll-away bed. The sofa and roll-away beds had horrible mattresses that were thin and worn in the middle. The hotel was very clean and the king size bed was very comfortable. The hotel was about 1/2 hour away from the Journal Square PATH station which takes you into NY for $2 per person. It was perfect for us as we don't mind driving. There is also a good size mall close by where we went to eat at the Five Guys restaurant (more like a small shop in the mall, but still good). The kids loved shopping and the parents loved the burgers. I would stay here again but would make sure to verify they have my room reservation correct. Read more

The room itself is clean and the breakfast is great,the service was just HORRIBLE! I checked into the hotel on Sat with a res for 3 adults and 2 beds. The first room we were put in was 1 king size bed. I come back downstairs so I can get shuttled to the airport so I can take the train downtown NY. I asked the same girl who checked me in what time is […] the last shuttle, and she told me "don't worry about it, just call us when your ready for pickup". So I called at like 1200am asking for shuttle, and the girl tells me the shuttle stops running at midnight, sorry. I spent $60 on a taxi. Then on Sun when I did call for shuttle at 817pm, I waited over an hour. When I finally came to the hotel, I asked to speak to a manager to resolve the taxi issue from the day before and I was told that they will be in on Mon from 9-5pm. I told the girl that I need this issue solved before I left, so she called the manager at home and explained the situation and was told that the manager "does not recall telling me to just call". So Mon comes and I had to leave so I left a copy and statement for the general manager about the taxi situation because once again there was no manager available. And to make things worse, the shuttle was 30 min late for airport drop off and when another guest told him their running late, he told her she shouldve have left earlier. The same guest told me she ended up taking a taxi as well because she was told the same thing. Read more

This place is a dump! The management is awful! Do not believe their claim for a free shuttle. they could not find the driver for over an hour.  Hairs were all over our first room. The second room was hot. In my opinion, this was an okay hotel. The room was resonable, and the beds were somewhat comfortable. The location of the hotel felt a bit sketchy, because there wasn't a single open buisness near the hotel for 500 feet. Overall, I enjoyed the hotel.However, taking the NJ Transit from Rahway to New York Penn Station was long (and EXPENSIVE!!!).

At check-in we were told that hotel shuttle took us to the Path train station in Newark. It didn't. It went to Rahwey and we caught train in to NYC. Return trip via shuttle- would not pick us up at agreed time, made us wait in rahwey for 1/2 hour Trip back to hotel was white-knuckled adventure When we went up to the room neither sleep number bed worked […] and remote for tv was missing batteries.
