The hotel is really great. I can only recomend it. The only thing, they should give free wifi, it makes no sense to charge fot it in Indonesia, where everything is so cheap. It could be in front of the beach, even so, it is very near.

We stayed at the Breezes for five days in late May, and our experience had some real ups and downs. First, the good points. 1. The staff is very friendly, courteous, tries hard to please, and has adequate English-language skills for most routine requests. 2. The bed. We had a king-sized bed, and it was actually comfortable (not like a slab of granite, […] the way it often is in mid-range hotels like Breezes. 3. The food. While there are many food options in Seminyak, and Bali generally, we chose to eat at the hotel on some occasions, and didn't regret it. We had the buffet breakfast, a seafood buffet dinner, a room-service lunch, and a late-night dessert. All were better than we expected, and reasonably priced. 4. The pool. It's big, deep and long enough for actual swimming, and has an appealing layout. We had mostly overcast days with a fair bit of rain, so the water was a bit cooler than we like, but the pool is open to the full effect of the sun, and should warm up nicely during the upcoming dry season. 5. The location. Lots of attractions--the beach, restaurants, bars, shopping--are in easy walking distance. If you want to venture further afield or simply don't feel like walking, taxis also hang out in front of the hotel waiting for fares, and we took these on several occasions without problem (make sure the taxi has a meter and that the driver turns it on when you enter the taxi). Now the not-so-good. 1. No elevator (lift)--the hotel has three floors, with steep, high steps providing the only means to go up and down. Great for exercise. If you have more limited mobility, however, you should probably ask for a room on the ground floor, which also costs more. My wife suffers from arthritis in her knees and hips, and we got the hotel to (eventually) get us into a ground-floor room. 2. We had a lovely holiday at this hotel, despite being not so keen on the Seminyak area itself (too busy and urban). It has good amenities, the rooms are comfortable and the staff are exceptional in their commitment to guests enjoyment. We initially had rooms near the pool bar which proved a little noisy for us (2 adults, 14yo & 12yo sons) so we asked […] to move and the new rooms were much quieter. We had interconnecting doors both times. There were quite a lot of guests at the hotel which meant it was quite lively around the pools and in the lobby, where the pool table and ping pong table were often in use. But it never felt too busy or crowded, and our sons enjoyed the holiday atmosphere. To give an idea of the great service from staff, we liked the look of the cutting boards used by the chefs so, on their advice, went to the traditional markets to buy one but none were available. When we mentioned this to the duty manager he got a spare one from the kitchen and sold it to us for a token amount! Amazing service, attention to detail, great rates, fantastic location. I cannot fault Breezers. I have stayed with them over 4 times and every visit is just as good, if not better than the last. We stayed 4 nights, had interconnecting rooms with the kids. Beds first rate, pools lovely- kids loved the basketball ring at edge of pool so were shooting hoops from the pool! A lot a construction around the hotel but we didn't hear any noise from it inside the hotel. Breakfasts were great. Not far to beach, maybe 5 minute walk.

Staff were exceptionally helpful!! Beautiful pool bar. The rooms were fully airconditioned and kept very clean. Slightly noisy due to construction next door but other than that it was a great hotel in a great location. Breakfast and room service were very yummy! Lots of activities for kids and adults. Great location, great place and amazing people! We felt so welcome the moment we arrived. This resort caters for all groups of people. Just a quick note that they are building a lift but for now if you don't like walking up stairs get a room on the ground floor. Really loved this hotel, everyone keen to ensure you have a good stay. Lots of activities at the hotel, amazing pool area and swim up pool bar with plenty of day beds, lush gardens around the property, great breakfast spread and unique touch of a 'departure lounge' complete with snacks, drinks and shower facilities for after checkout. 1st room was close […] to construction next door, but simply asked if anything else available and we were moved without fuss. Walk upstairs to 3rd floor rooms is not the greatest but they are currently building a lift due to be ready for nov 2012 (another eg of being keen to please and listening to the feedback and making the appropriate improvements). Only downfall is it is not in prime location, but it is hard to get everything for a good price and we felt the weigh up was worth it for a good quality hotel at value for money. The Breezes is in a great position the hotel is perfect for those looking for accommodation on a moderate budget. The staff where very accommodating, friendly but genuine not like the fake 5 star hotels I've previously stayed at. The ground floor deluxe rooms / junior rooms are worth spending the extra on they all offer doors opening out onto the pools […] your own deck chairs which means no chance of never getting a deck chair to tan up after your morning shopping expedition or beauty treatment. The staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay. After the late checkout (12noon) we were able to stay at the hotel and use the pools, towels and facilities. They have a special suite for people with late flights so was able to have a coffee , something to eat and a shower at no cost. Great atmosphere, the staff ran competitions around the pool bar, which gave free prizes to the winners and really bonded all the guests together! It was a great way to meet people! This was our second stay at the Breezes, this time with a big group going to a wedding in Canggu. We all really enjoyed having Bintang at the pool bar and doing the daily quiz. Surprised a few of the reviews said the hotel staff were rude, we all found the staff to be friendly, pleasant and accomodating. Our first time in Seminyak and Breezes was more than suitable. Great location with easy access to beach and bars and plenty of restaurants. The hotel is clean and tidy and is well appointed. The rooms are spacious however they appear to still be renovating even on sundays... Beware the check in time of 3pm not 1 or 2 pm like all the other hotels / resorts. The room we were given wasn't ready for 2 hours and we were told it had plumbing issues. Finally when we could check in there were […] still workers in the room so had to wait another 20 mins. 2.5 hours later we finally checked in. The room is large but the shower / bathroom is tiny... We found the staff easy and friendly to deal with and breakfast was fine each day. Lunch portions were not large for the amount of money you pay for them plus you can get far better meals outside of the hotel. Upon check out we were going to be charged for beverages from the swim up bar that we didn't consume so beware to check your bill carefully when checking out. My sister and I, both 30, stayed at the breezes for 4 nights at the end of Apr start of May. When we arrived at the hotel they provided a cool towel and a fruit juice to refresh us. The pool terrace room that we had booked had a problem with the air conditioning so they moved us to a pool view room for the first night. The free massage was lovely and the spa staff were very attentive. The pool terrace room was very convenient as you could just walk out to your own reserved loungers with umbrella by the pool. The pool was clean and the swim up bar was great for getting out of the sun. The bar staff were good fun and friendly. The buffet breakfasts were good. It differed every day but fruit, cheese, ham and hot food choices were available and you could get your eggs made to order at the egg counter. We didn't eat at the front bar restaurant but other hotel guests we were talking to did and they said it was delicious and reasonably priced and had a lot of Indonesian choices. There wasn't much of a night life in the hotel itself but it was close to a good few bars and club options or Kuta is not far in a taxi if you're looking for a lot of bars/clubs. It is not on the beach but is a few minutes walk and is close to all the Legian beach bars and restaurants. It is also close to a lot of good Seminyak restaurant choices. we have stayed here once before and the service is excellent. Our room was quite run-down...loose tiles, patio door came off runners everytime we opened it (allowing mosquitoes in), air-con leaked (quickly cleaned up by staff). Also, we had to request mozzie net (which was already set up in room last time) and our bedspread was dirty (but we did not […] report as we did not use it). On two days our "clean" towels were dirty. Think they must improve on this. It is a shame as Breezes is a great location in Seminyak and the breakfasts were excellent. It is the staff that make this place, but greater housekeeping skills and observations would make a big difference. That is: how can someone fold up towels with very obvious dirty marks on them??
