When we arrived at our room, we noted the rug was filthy. It appeared to be blood and was from the bathroom sink into the main area of the room. We asked for a new room and was promptly given one. Much cleaner but no where near the quality we were used to. The t.v. didn't work properly. We could only get a few channels and the maintenance man couldn't […] fix the problem. Also the WiiFii was not available. I was told the system was down and couldn't be fixed because everyone was gone home. However I could walk over to McDonalds and use their free internet access. We stayed at the Eureka Casino Resort twice in the past week: once on March 28 - 29 and once on March 31 - April 1, 2013. The first time the rooms were wonderful with no issues. We decided to book rooms as we returned from our destination. We arrived late and very tired. The rooms appeared fine but were a little cigarette-type smoke lingering. Room […] 349 had it lightly but Room 351, where my son, daughter-in-law and baby were staying had it a lot worse. We should have changed rooms. My son, being slightly asthmatic by morning was not feeling well. My daughter-in-law and baby were also not feeling great and their clothes smelled of smoke. They didn't sleep well. Our room wasn't as bad but my wife and daughter said they didn't sleep near as well as the first night's stay. The manager said he would look into it, basically saying to us that he didn't care. We stayed there for two nights, but they were split nights, meaning one going and one returning. We stayed there on our way and liked it so much, that we decided to stay there again. The second stay was not nearly as nice, because we were in a non-smoking room, but it was filled with the fumes of smoke by the next morning, which aggravated my asthma […] and allergies. We also had an infant with us. We expected to have a smoke free hotel room, but we got stuck in a smoke filled room. When I discussed the issue with the manager the next morning, he told me they'd look into it and was quite rude when I asked what that meant. Thoroughly enjoyed staying with the Eureka. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, the Experience and Mason Street never fail to offer great food and service, and the casino is always jumping with fun.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel is housed in a separate building from the casino which was a plus. A small continental breakfast in the htoel would have been nice. The hotel did help with our golf arrangements. overall the experience was a good one.

Non smoking room smelled like previous occupant broke rules but otherwise simple, clean room, nice staff, coffee in lobby in am. Very convenient for some friends and me on a wolf creek golf trip. The course is about 90 second drive.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Its next to the casino but not in the same building, which is GOOD. the room was fine for the price and the front desk service was great. My only complaint was the lights in the room were too dim. Please use some brighter bulbs in the lamps.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very large and clean. Hotel is conveniently located off of the hwy 15. Walking across to the casino felt very safe and there is also a shuttle to take you back and forth. We will surely stay here again should the occasion arise.

On our return trip home we once again we stayed at the Eureka Hotel and once again we we're not disappointed. As like the week before we were checked in by the same pleasent young lady with a welcoming smile and come to find it was her day off but she was there to help out on a busy New Year's weekend. Another 10 out of 10 for her. This time she gave […] us a room that I felt would have more foot traffic and elevator noise so I asked for a change of room to a quiter area and we got it without any problem. It was a different # room then we had before but it was also just as quiet, clean and the beds as comfortable and cozy and the room spacious. We also asked for another rollaway bed and recieved it as soon as we arrive at our room by another pleasant staff member. The hotel was almost if not full this time and still we never heard people in our area. Two weekends in a row and we were not disappointed with our stay. Defernitly we would recommend this hotel to friends and others. To gamble, golfing in the area and just stopping for a good nights rest. Read more

We found the reception staff very friendly and helpful. Wish I could remember the young lady's name who checked us in as we would give her a recommendation of 10 out of 10. Checking us in she was very helpful, pleasant and had a smile she made us feel welcomed. We asked for a quiet room and we were not disappointed. If there were other guest around […] us we never heard them. We asked for a rollaway bed and it arrived almost immidiately when we arrived in our room, it arrived by the young lady that checked us in, the other staff we're off duty. The roller bed was more comfortable then we expected. We found the beds to be very comfortable, cozy and clean. Bathroom etc. was also clean with shampoo etc. and a nice coffee maker. The room was very spacious. We asked for a no smoking room and were pleased to find no smoke odore in the room. In some hotels they try to cover up the odor to make it a non-smoking room but it never works. We had no problem with the casino being on the other side of the parking lot and away from the hotel. However being non-smokers we did find the casino quite smokey and for that we didn't stay in there very long. Staff also freindly. We had no time to lazy around the pool or to use it but it looked inviting and well mantained. We would stay here again when back in the area. If you don't want the glitter and high prices of Vegas this is the place to go. From our experience we would recommend this hotel to our friends and others. Good value for your money. Read more

Comfortable for our one night stay. We enjoyed the Casino and our dinner there. Proximity of hotel to Casino enabled a very nice walk to the Casino and back to Hotel.

We were very happy with our stay. A short walk to the casino, nice room and bed. Staff was nice. Plenty of water pressure for shower, and coffee maker in the room. A fan in the bathroom would have been nice. We will certainly stay at the Eureka again. It is much nicer than The Virgin River Casino and Hotel, and not much more expensive.

Big comfortable room, great bed, well appointed. Excellent and very cheap meals in Casino. Chinese food was exceptional. Comfort out of all proportion to the low cost.

This was our first stay at this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised by the foray, coffee/tv/computer area for everyone and the rooms were very nice. Had a nice pool, the hot tub really wasnt hot; the staff was very friendly. When we got there, our room was on the 2nd floor and they had floor fans drying out several rooms but the fans were turned […] off by the time we went to bed. Not sure what happened. It was my fiance birthday weekend and I just wanted somewhere to take him away from Vegas but wouldn't cost an arm and a leg(gas prices). Eureka was a great spot to relax and have a nice night out and we are looking forward to staying there again!!!

We were greeted by a large, comfortable room, but the bed was very hard - we had to fold up the blanket and put it under the sheet for my wife's sore back. One of the elevators was not running, and there was a lot of racket as workmen tried to fix it. We stayed here twice - once going to our final destination, the second time returning home. The second […] time, there was a major thunderstorm, and in the middle of the night, the fire alarm, which is extremely loud and apparently built into the walls or ceiling, went off. The hotel is separate from the casino so there is none of that walking through a smokey casino to check in. Our room was lovely and very clean. Resort website says refrigerators are available on request, and manager was rude and abrupt when she explained they've all been given out. They had some available, but didn't want to give any out. Manager was very abrupt, making us feel dumb for asking. TV was very outdated. Other than that, no complaints.
