This hotel is horrible!! I stayed the night during a huge storm the next morning I asked if we could extend our stay until they plowed, and was CHARGED because their plow man couldn't get therein time. Not to mention I tried microwaving some chinese food and the power went out. I immediately called the front desk only to find out that I had to go to […] the fuse box myself and that I apprently wasn't allowed to use the mcrowave. 'it was just for show'. Where to begin? 'Perfumed' cleanliness is overwhelming when you first walk in. Room was small but okay. When we got there the heat was off. We were told they keep it off when no one was there. I told the man that we were there and had already paid. He asked if we wanted him to turn it on!!! Then he brought a space heater cause he said it takes a while […] for the heat to warm up. Both wheels came off the first time we tried to move it. There is no way the tub would pass any inspection. There is porcelain missing around the drain and was patched with what looked like some kind of plastic. There was also some exposed rusty steel. Ran a tub to soak my weary bones. Had to be all hot water to be warm. And was sort of a brownish color. Also had an odor. The next morning however, there was plenty of hot water. Also had to have someone come to our room to get the remote to work with the tv. It wasn't all bad though. Their internet speed was one of the fastest I have ever had. I downloaded a document at 1.2mB/s. Can't say I would necessarily recommend this place to anyone. It was okay. Price was one of the lowest in the area. If you have high standard or expectations keep looking. If you can overlook stuff you may want to consider it. Read more

it was worth the money. Everything as expected. The continental breakfast was just a table with few things. however it was nice to have a something close enough to a coffee while driving to the nearest coffee shop.. The hotel was cheap so the expectation was low, but for a night if was good enough.

While the motel was just that, a motel, it was far beyond what I'd anticipated for the price. Very clean, courteous staff and located walking distance to the town center with a farmers market, music and restaurants. I will stay here again the next time that I'm in Claremont!

This place is OK if you don't mind the smell of tobacco semi- covered up with some perfume stuff. Maybe not all of the rooms are like ours (it was a non-smoking room). The people running the place were nice & the bagel was decent.

I stayed here the night before the Vermont 50. It looks sketchy from the outside but it was nice and cozy on the inside. There was a fridge and microwave but not coffee maker (luckily we brought one). It was clean and there was free Internet. Only 20 minutes or so from the race which was also nice.

I stayed Mon-Thu nights for business. Very loud party every night, did not sleep well. Drunk guest wanted to fight me at 5pm one day after work after huge verbal fight with his significant other. No hot water and no way to control temp in the room. I couldn't find the thermastate so I called the desk clerk and they told me it was behind the TV..when I pulled the TV away from the wall the thermastate had a lock on it.. I went to the desk clerk and they said the thermastate controlled the temp for all the rooms. Total BS. They did however bring […] me a portable heater which I had to turn off in the middle of the night. Also none of the outlets would securly hold anything that required electricity in place. Very good economy experience. fast check-in, verry comfortable beds, nice big bathroom with good size tub. Avg size room, but well furnished and laid out. Better TV than most at this price. The room smelled a little funny, not bad, but like cleaner or something. Internet speed was modem-like 60kbps down (DSLReports).

Well managed 2-3 star hotel. Simple but adequate. Close to middle of town. Friendly staff. Uphill driveway was well maintained inspite of very recent snow. hotel did not look good from the outside, the continental breakfast was not started until at least 7 am and the lobby(office) was not open to leave your room keys and no personnel was around to inquire about anything you needed.rooms were tidy but not the best of shape,bathroom door would not completely close.

I booked here because of another positive review. At first glance the place looks a little run down but the room I was in had been refurbished beautifully. It was in a quiet neighborhood within a short walking distance of a variety of restaurants. Nicely done!
