Tom was the ideal host. Present just enough to give perfectly attentive service, yet also allowed for a comfortable sense of privacy... I felt like the house was all mine. Beautiful rooms, central location, and fascinating history to the house. I'd stay here again.

Tom is a nice guy and his B & B is a pleasant enough place. It is a grand home but a little "tired." The room was large and comfy and the breakfast was good and healthy.

My son and I were visitng Ohio colleges, and found the Russell-Cooper House as a place to stay before visiting Kenyon (4.5 miles straight down the road), and are glad we did. This is a beautiful historic house, on a street lined with other architectural masterpieces, in a small town with great charm (if only mediocre restaurants). Tom is a gracious […] host—and a Kenyon alum, so eager to tell my son about that, as well as the many other things to do in this area. The house, an enormous Victorian, is beautifully maintained and furnished, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable, even if the linens and towels are a bit worn (my only very minor complaint). He cooked us a great breakfast, and sent us on our way, well-rested and well-fed. For the price, our night in this beautiful mansion was a bargain, and we will certainly be back (especially if my son ends up at Kenyon). Read more

I had the pleasure of staying at the Russell-Cooper House while on a college trip with my daughter. My room was very cozy and I wonderful night's sleep. Breakfast was shared by all at the large dining room table. I recommend.

This is a lovely, well-maintained Victorian B&B. The proprietor is gracious and friendly, helpful but not intrusive. He even accommodated us with a specially prepared earlier-than-usual breakfast. I look forward to returning!
