We were going as volunteers at Soroka Hospital and it was within walking distance or by bus right in front of the hotel. It was also within walking distance to the New Performance Center. The front desk people were very helpful and informative re restaurants and directions.

I had read some pretty bad reviews and almost slept on a relative's couch instead. Selected a Junior Suite for a few extra dollars as some reviews said this really mattered. On checkin, the clerk told us we had a further upgraded room (1203) and the room was modern, clean, and well maintained as well as having a view of the whole city. We had some breakfast guests not staying with us and the front desk staff easily arranged for vouchers for their breakfast to be discreetly charged to the room without visibly doing business on the sabbath. We stayed on the Sabbath so common areas that started clean were a bit trashed by morning and breakfast lacked the fresh squeezed orange juice that is usually such a treat. Parking was very convenient and included. WIFI was free in the lobby but not free in the rooms (silly). Read more

The hotel is within walking distance of many sights - the old city, Ben Yehuda St., across the street from the Great Synagogue and bus stops. The choices for breakfast were amazing (hot and cold items) and the food good. We were disappointed at the superior room and paid for an upgrade to a junior suite which was well worth the extra money. The room was clean and spacious with new carpet. The hotel gave us access to the Business lounge for no extra charge. We used the computer to connect the internet but we had to call often for maintenance to reset the connection. […] We stayed six nights. We stay at Leonardo - Beer Sheva whenever we need to be in the area. When we called the front desk that the TV was not working, maintenance came in minutes and replaced the TV. Staff is very professional and helpful. We notice renovations are ongoing. If you ask the front desk what bus to take to get to the downtown area, they are helpful. Housecleaning […] does a very good job. Food is very good. I think the price is awfully high in comparison to staying other places. Lots of religious people come here for Shabbat and weddings, etc. Read more

Room wasn't ready at 4pm in the afternoon. Hotel is barely adequate but is about the only one in Beersheva. Best one can say is that hotel was clean though rooms had stains and need updating.

The hotel is old and the bedrooms in used and poor condition. My online booking was disputed as I had booked a junior suite and was allocated soemthing smaller. Only after argument did I receive my money back. However I did get some free chilled water for my trouble.

This is my second time staying at hotel, the first was 5 years ago. Although I was told the hotel has done some remodeling, I did not see it and actually thought the hotel had run down. Saving grace, wonderful breakfast!

adequate for overnight stay. wifi only in lounge area is free. staff very curtious and helpful. surrounding neighborhood a little seedy but hotel security excellent. room was comfortable and presentable with average ammenties. short walk or drive to mall shopping and eateries.
