"Williamstown Theater Festival."
I was in town for the Theatre. I was seeing two shows on different days so I need a place to stay. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was nice and comfortable and clean. A little outdated but good. Very nice clean outdoor pool!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We were on a vacation trip from northwestern Massachusetts into New York state, and Williamstown was on our route. This hotel worked out almost perfectly for us.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient to Williams -- good price"
Good for one nightGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Bed covers smelt of sweat.....Bathroom smelled like urine and was not clean The hotel is outdated and run downGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was old and dated, the shower curtain was all mildew and smelled. Beds were old, the TV was an old tube tv. It was however, fairly clean, other than the shower curtain. The only one that spoke english was the desk clerk, I guess that's standard these days. The price was in line with the place. I guess I shouldn't expect more.Genuine Expedia guest review
"this is the place to be"
Nicest owner ever, my friends and stay here every summer for an event at Mass MoCA in North Adams, the owner and staff go out of their way to make our weekends the best weekends ever. This year I witnessed him going above and beyond in the good host department, this is a man who is just a kind man to his very soul. I'll never stay anywhere else when […] I'm in the area! very hospitable staff and a clean room. breakfast was included and altho not fancy was enough to start the day. Hikers are welcomed and restaurants are nearby. i found some inexpensive hiking gear nearby. Try Desperado's for dinner.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Can't beat the price. As other reviewers have said, this is an older hotel. Therefore the bathroom fixtures are older. Beds were comfortable. Location was good for both Williamstown and North Adams. Breakfast at hotel was basic-- cereal and toast... But there's a nice inexpensive breakfast place just nearby-- Moonlight Diner.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
rooms were not clean....hair in bathtub..when we arrived.....dust everywhere....Genuine Expedia guest review

"Spend the extra $10-$20 to stay elsewhere, no joke"
Key didn't work when we got there. Had to go back twice to get them to get it to work. First thing we did was lift up the mattresses to make sure there weren't any bed bugs (there weren't) but the condition of the room had us question it immediately. The bathroom was cleaned in a quick manner, you can see wipe down streaks from whatever they used to […] quickly wipe it down, but not clean/fresh smelling and not convincingly clean. Although room was smoke free you can tell it had been smoked in for years before. Paper thin walls and floors, noisy. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
You get what you pay for. I was looking for a cheap room and got it. Breakfast was decent. Family run. Not enough hands maybe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Work Causes Travel Stays"
Clean rooms at a fair rate for the area. Very helpful staff and close to alot of places to visit.Genuine Expedia guest review
Although the hotel had no amenities (not even an elevator), the rooms were large and the hotel was close to Williams College. The pillows were great! Must have purchased new ones based on reviews that we had read prior to our trip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Smells like smoke"

"Ok for the price but very smelly."
Hotel is what it is for the price but had a weird smell.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The mattresses were incredibly uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and much overused. The room was clean but needs updating badly. Towels were the size of hand towels and threadbare. The price was inexpensive, but still not worth it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The deadbolt would not work as the bolt did not line up correctly. This room was not close to the picture shown. The heat worked fine but whenever someone entered or left their room you were aware of it. Kids running on the upstairs porch sounded like a herd of elephants. But at night I did get a good nights sleep. I checked in after noon and the parking […] lot was only partially cleared of snow. Parking near my room was still covered with snow so I had to stand and walk in 8 inches of it to unload the car and get to the room. They finished clearing the lot just as darkness set in. There was a used bar a soap still in the soap tray by the mirror. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
it was what is expected of an inexpensive stayGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The location is perfect to get to the museums and restaurants. The room was spacious, but not thoroughly cleaned. Staff was friendly but there was nothing exceptional about the service or amenities. It is what it is... A place to sleep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"one bad apple can ruin the whole experience"
I really liked the office staff, they were very helpful. When I was packing up to leave though, a man on the clean up crew yelled at me to checkout when I was going back to check for any personal items the kids and I might have left behind. I always do one last sweep and try to make the room somewhat neater than we usually leave it. It was also an hour […] before required checkout time. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
My son goes to Williams and we've stayed in every hotel, motel, and inn; from high to low. HoJo in Williamstown is a family-run franchise - friendly, clean, and inexpensive. Go for it!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"value hotel in williamstown"
This hotel is similar to most of the hotels in Williamstown. Old school motel rooms. The nice thing about this one is that we stayed in a separate building which was much quieter than most of the rooms we have stayed in in Williamstown. The bathroom had also been updated. The complimentary breakfast was OK unless you like waffles then it would probably […] be good. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"convenient location and great experience- clean"
The staff welcomed us and went out of their way to accomodate our needs. They gave us directions extensively. They were friendly . They were always on duty and available. They prepared a great breakfast. They were flexible about chedck in and parking was good and the place was homey.Genuine Expedia guest review
Quite hrs are not enforced. Some guests are really noisy till midnight.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was great - especially for the price. I had NO Complaints. (Oh, just one little one - I never received my wake-up call which I requested the night before). Other than that, everything was just fine. Highly recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very good basic motel in good location"
Room was clean and functional. Breakfast bar was well tended with usual assortment of Continental Breakfast items. Nice lady at reception showed me where to park my motorcycale. Location very good on east side of Williamstown with North Adams just up the road. Neighborhood was good with gas station/convenience store and strip mall with pizzeria, restaurant […] & pharmacy within walking distance. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Fine motel for an overnight stay. They let us check in early, which was not an option at the fancier hotels in the areaGenuine Expedia guest review

"Suite not sweet"
We got the so-called suite because it had a refrigerator and microwave. However, it's layout was poor and not a real suite. Plus no table or desk to work at. Definitely overpriced for the value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice family-run motel"
Nothing fancy, but it provided spacious rooms and comfortable beds. I saw the owners' little boy peeking out of the family's apartment, which was kind of cute!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Ok for a single night stay."
For a one night stay, this hotel is just fine. The room was largely comfortable and quiet, however, the beds had square sleeping pillows that were very hard. (I would bring my own pillows next time.) The bathroom was sparse, but clean. Oddly, the water must have been treated, because (and I know this may seem strange...) it didn't feel wet! I am always […] puzzled by bathrooms that have toilets separate from the sink. That door handle can't be very sanitary. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"bring pillows from home."
This is a low rise, "motel." It is not a hotel. The bathroom floor was so dirty that I put towels on the floor to reach the sink, toilet, shower. I am would not sit in the arm chairs, the fabric also looked dirty. The room was very outdated. The pillows were a weird size (not bed pillows). Staff were fine.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Summer Weekend in the Berkshires"
If you want to go to the Berkshires on a popular summer weekend then you already know that things are not stacked in your favor. The hotels often have elevated prices and three-night minimums with no refund. From that standpoint, this worked well for us. We stayed for two nights and could cancel with 48 hours notice. The room was overpriced but it is […] convenient to Williamstown, clean, an acceptable continental breakfast was included, and it's okay. The room itself was fine but the overall physical plant is in need of some repair. Would we stay there again? If we needed to under similar circumstances. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Williamstown in the summer"
The property is old, but kept well. The best feature is its employees. Everybody is extremely nice and accommodating. They all had a smile always and were ready to help, answer questions, etc. This is a limited service hotel, but the continental breakfast was nice and plenty. The housekeeping department can use some training as they really did not do […] a good job. The only recommendation I'd like to make is that you do research before coming to this town as there is not much to do around and it can get a bit boring. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very convenient to both Mass MoCA and The Clark!"
Pleasant people, perfectly adequate room. Didn't partake of the free breakfast or use the pool; no time for either - tho the pool looked very clean and inviting!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice stay at Howard Johnson Motel"
The room was nice and roomy. Though the facility is aging and a little run down, it certainly was acceptable for a few nights while visiting my family. It is centrally located between North Adams and Williamstown, which is convenient and the staff was very nice. The rates were very reasonable. It was a good stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Perfect for Yale University Tours"
Online check in was a breeze! Keys with room number waiting for me on a rack next to the desk. Nice and quick. Check out just as easy. Staff very friendly. Worked perfect for touring Yale University. Lots of dining nearby and not crowded on the weeknights in the summer. Easy in and out with directions provided.Genuine Expedia guest review
