The staff was very helpful. The room was comfortable, other guests were considerate. Breakfast was excellent & served in a cozy outdoor location.

Azul is a nice bed and breakfast. It's close to Duval street and all the other activities on the island. The staff are fantastic, very nice, accommodating, and helpful. There was a parade the night we arrived so there was a lot of traffic. Since most of the island is a two-lane highway, it was difficult to get around. The rooms are small so pack light. […] We had a room next to the pool so it was nice when we took a quick swim. While at Key West, there is really no need to drive, especially if you rent a scooter or bike. We rented a scooter and had a great time touring the island, which took maybe an hour. Great place to eat is Louie's Backyard, which has a great view all-around. Food was delicious, drinks were good, and the people at the restaurant and at the bar are very nice.Mike from the hotel was able to make last-minute reservations and was a great way to end our last night there. Our only issue with the place is the breakfast as it was continental. There was fruit, muffins, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, and yogurt. The bed and breakfast was the best. The service was excellent and we enjoyed breakfast on the patio and an afternoon by the pool., The location was perfect for walking to all the main attrractions. A beautiful small oasis close down town Key West. The landlord was very serviceminded, funny and just like an old friend. We simply loved it and would go back if possible. We recommand the Azul to all people, who love a peaceful spot in a hectic area. Qualiity of the full was top dollar.

Everything was great about our stay. We stayed in a room with a king bed on the upper level. A cooler was provided for our convenience when we checked in. The Azul is close to Duval Street and the shops and bars. The rooms are smaller but comfortable and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, even made recommendations and reservations for dinner one night for us. We will definitely stay there again.

Michael was great. Steered us to excellent restaurants and made our stay a joy. Building is old ("historic") with tiny rooms but breakfast on the deck was great and Duval just three blocks away.

Next time we are in Key West, we will definitely stay at Azul. Staff's great. No body bothered us, and they made special accommodations so we could leave at 5 AM to get to the beach and race. The pool and the patio area are just divine.

The hotel is nice, however it is a boutique hotel and their communcations system is outdated and their website is very vague. I had booked a room for 2 nights fantasy fest weekend. I spoke with the woman at the front desk earlier in the day to find out if they were open being that there had been a hurricane coming through. She explained to me that they […] were and that there had been no storm activity going on in the area at all. I was preparing to leave and thought I should call the hotel to notify that I would be coming in later that evening. When I called the message said the front desk is closed at 7 pm (during the busiest weekend of the year I called at 7:15). They leave an alternate number to make arrangements for late arrivals, however that number is disconnected. There is no information on the website and no live person as well as instructions on what do in the situation that I was in. They stated to me that they had made arrangements for my late arrival on the door, however the next day when I looked there was no security guard or late arrival package to speak of? I was not about to drive for 4 hrs only to find out I had to sleep in my car. Overall I had a horrible experience! The room and grounds are nice, but I put a lot of emphasis on customer service, and I feel as though they let me down! I will NEVER stay here again and neither should you! You can stay at the Waldorf down the road for cheaper and I am sure someone will be there to answer the phone!! Read more

This was our 4th time to Key West, this time we were down for a wedding. The guest house was beautiful and our room was very nice. The location was convenient as well. It was nice that a bicycle rental shop was 1/2 a block away. The staff was very nice and the property was excedingly well maintained. The shower temperature fluxuated between hot and cold extremes, and there was a feeling of lack of privacy with the pool being two steps from our room. Excellent place to stay. Not much parking and a resonable walk to duval street. Very quiet at all hours and very relaxing. Hosts were very accomodating. I will stay here if I go to key west again. Forget a car and rent a scooter. Scooters are very easy to park and much easier to navigate on the small city streets.
