The people were nice enough, but the condition of our room was horrible. The bathroom was the main culprit. The toilet takes 3 flushes, and the toilet set was always coming off. Overall, I found the Double Tree an excellent hotel, except my request for hypoallergenic through hotels.com (POC: Adam) was ignored. I checked in with my wife late due to delayed travel time from Yosemite...road & weather conditions and ended up with a room with pillows containing feathers. I would happily stay here again. Excellent, clean, comfortable room. Hotel staff was very accommodating. Furniture was comfortable and tv was large. The restaurant was nicely decorated, with large wine offering, and attentive staff, although limited food selection if you dont want meat. The only limitation to the hotel is that it is far from other restaurants […] so that you have no choice but to eat at the hotel. "Close enough to napa"
Just a quick overnighter to kill time on a business trip that allowed us to see napa and not spend a fortune on a room. Very nice accommodations and I will definitely come back for leisure! "Clean room at a reasonable price"
This ia a nice hotel to stay in Napa Valley without paying too much for the location. It's located in the southern tip of Napa Valley, so it takes about 15 to 30 minutes to drive to your favorite vineyards. But the room is clean and spacious at very reasonable price. Likes: Very comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Convenient location for our needs. Fresh warm cookies. The Canyon Cafe, located nearby, is a wonderful place for breakfast. The room was clean. Internet worked fine. Dislikes: Although there were 3 people in the room, we could not get the maid to leave 3 wash cloths. Water pressure in the shower was inadequate […] although, due to regulations, this is pretty common in California. The cable TV worked fine but there weren't many channels. I had a problem with an extra charge from the hotels restaurant. I had dinner with some friends and I was charged my meal plus an extra charge that wasn't mine. I spoke to the front desk and they told me that I had to speak to the cook about the problem. Enjoyed our stay here instead of paying crazy high prices for a place in the Napa Valley. This is a great alternative. It is only about 10-15 min from Napa where the same money will by you half the hotel! Their cookies are the best...they alone make it worth staying at the Double Tree over other hotels in American Canyon! Friendly staff, clean and spacious […] rooms and very comfortable beds/pillows made this stay enjoyable. Only complaint...the bathroom could stand to be larger, but it was outfitted nicely.
