Me and my sweetheart spent a beautiful two night stay in this charming Montreal hotel. The hotel is located on St. Denis street which is very conveniently located within an area with a diverse mix of at least 25 restaurants right next to the hotel. There are also many shops located within a five minute walk. The beautiful waterfront area Vieux Porte […] can be reached in a few minutes walking distance. We took the deluxe room which had a jacuzzi --- well worth the extra expense!!!!. We will stay there again the next time that we visit Montreal. Read more

We loved the location of this hotel. We stayed in the suite, which has a jacuzzi bath for two. Very nice! The continental breakfast left a little to be desired, but they were almost done serving when we ate, so it might have been better earlier. Expensive hotel for what it is. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, but the decor is cheap and the carpet worn out. Rather quiet, as the room we were in overlooked the in-yard; this is to be appreciated as the neighborhood can be noisy at night. What a lovely stay we had here! We absolutely loved our little room. I'm one for cozy little rooms and ours was a beautiful one with wooden floors, charming furniture, gorgeous ceiling lighting and adorable white lamps with a French flair. The bed was so comfortable, with the mattress on the firm side, but we like that. The bathroom was clean. A nice, […] flat screen tv. Everything was in great condition. Absolutely nothing to complain about! A pleasure to come back to after a long day on our feet. A mistake made by us was that we did not read the room manual to find out how to connect the thermostat. We thought it was broken but in reality we should have read the instructions. In the mornings there was a delicious buffet breakfast prepared in the downstairs breakfast room. There were wonderful Montreal-style bagels, scrambeled eggs, ham, toast, jam, yogurt, and all sorts of other things. Saved us the trouble of going out into the cold so early! We may be returning to Montreal on further business and I hope this place will again be available. A note on parking.... There is 15 minute parking outside the hotel for when you check in and check out. We parked underneath the Bibliotheque in the parking garage otherwise, just a couple of blocks away. About $12/ day. I became ill the first day at this hotel. I called the main desk to request some ice. They did sent ice but charged me $0.57 for the use of the phone to call the front desk. Can you believe that? It wasn't a bad room but it did leave something to be desired especially the shower. Good location with TONS of restaurants and bars around. Convenient walking distance to many neighborhoods too. However, next time I would stay in Old Montreal or closer to it as that was my favorite. The shower was TINY. The service was friendly. They had a surprisingly big display for breakfast as well.

lovely spot with a well-appointed room. main floor room on the shady side of the courtyard cat-walk.you'd expect more noise at night from the busy restaurant street out front but it was suprisingly quiet. Je vais y revenir pour mon travail et même pour mes loisirs et visites culturelles. Très commode quand nous arrivons par autobus en provenance d'une autre ville. A proximité de l'université pour les rencontres de notre organisme. Très bon accueil on se sent comme chez nous.

J'avais réservé cet hotel par rapport à sa situation proche de la gare des bus juste pour une nuit car nous devions partir sur québec le lendemain. Hotel tout à fait correct, juste la douche qui est un peu petite (limite) mais pour une nuit ça va, literie nickel, petite cour intérieure sympa, petit déj correct et personnel vraiment très gentil.
