Did a gret job at basic low cost motel. Nothing fancy but a clean comfortable good night sleep. A couple of notes: I was there near enough to summer that morning light was an issue. While the main windows have black out blinds in one room a rear window had thin plastic blinds that let light through. In the other room the Skylight had no blinds at all. […] If you are sensitive to light and want to sleep late bring a sleep mask. Aurora is a major commuting road. The motel rooms are mostly sound proof but can't keep out the occasional noise of a Harley Davidson and simlar sounding vehicles. The ambience around Auroura is lousy but Green Lake is a short walk to the South and East and Greenwood Ave, several blocks to the west, has nice walkable neighborhood retail. Read more

Aside from it being an older hotel and it taking a little while for the hot water to kick in for a shower/bath we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

The hotel is in a poor area of town and rooms are a bit out-dated, with old TVs and furniture. However, my room was clean and smoke-free -- at a decent price. And there is a bus stop right in front, so no need to walk far to get into seattle, etc.

Stayed here for 6 days while house-hunting for a job relocation. Wonderful central location for getting to multiple neighborhoods by the 99 or I-5. Not fancy, but adequate rooms and friendly staff. Would stay again.

I enjoyed it. Despite being on a busy street, my room was still quiet. The room was very clean and large, especially for the very reasonable price. Being near Green Lake is great, too. Definitely a very good deal!

This hotel was decently priced and centrally located for me, which was prefect. But when I saw that the room had a mini kitchen & dinette set...I was in heaven!! It was very clean and the hotel staff were very courteous, helpful, and accomodating.

Very convenient for visiting in Seattle/GreenLake area. Easy access to SeaTac and downtown via 358 bus stop right outside the front door. Nice walk around Green Lake on a sunny afternoon. Room heater was noisy. Free breakfast was simple but adequate.

The hotel was okay. The front desk people were very nice. I was a bit nervous leaving my car in the parking lot because the neighbourhood is not very nice. I found the neighborhood to be noisy, even late at night and early in the morning (can't fault a neighborhood for being noisy during the day!). However, the room rate was so reasonable that we had a little more money to spend on activities, which was certainly welcome. Although we were a distance away from the city center, the commute was easy and there […] was a bus stop right at the corner (contributing to the noise?), there was a lovely coffee shop a block away, and a public park with opportunities for outdoor recreation just a few blocks away as well. The staff person that checked be in seemed a bit in different. He asked be for my ID which I had in hand and then he asked for my credit card, (I made my reservation on line and didn't think I would need it so it just wasn't handy) which I had a hard time finding in my purse. He said several things that made me uncomfortable such as "it needs to be […] a valid card" "It must have your name on it, just like your ID." and stating several times "I can't check you in without it." It took me less than a minute to find it so he didn't have to wait long. it was like I was being accused of something! Where these comments necessary? I am wondering if this is because I am a woman of color checking in alone. I was given a second floor room, the hotel only had a few guests there I feel that I should have been asked if I wanted a room on the ground level. I wasn't even given directions where my room was located. The woman on check out was very nice and friendly. The breakfast bar was set up beautifully but all the breads and limited pastry was stale. Our children and grandchildren live just a few minutes away so it is very convenient. Having fridge, microwave and coffeemaker in room is great. Room is always clean and the breakfast is adequate. We have stayed four times and we have had no complaints except occasional noisiness.

I was by myself on business and Looking for economy, and this hotel delivered what I needed. It sits right off a busy 4 lane city street, so it is loud. Bring earplugs!

Our room was not as clean as the three other times we stayed. The bathroom was pretty bad and had a spay tub with a hole to the outside, you could feel the cold air from outside when you took a shower. One of the double beds was horrible. I feel the rooms and the beds need a serious update. The staff as always is very nice and very helpful...

The motel was clean, comfortable, and easy to find. We had a room right by the office, near the street but it was quiet and secure. The staff was helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was pretty basic but we enjoyed grabbing OJ, cereal, and coffee before heading out. Can't be beat for the price.

When we checked in for 3 nights, we requested the quietest room and explained that we'll return from town late, and sleep late. The receptionist smiled & said OK. But in fact she had a printed notice right on the front desk warning that for the next 3 days, there will be 24 hour road construction in front of the property, with the heavy machines busting […] concrete from early morning on. It was just OK.even though it was a non-smoking room, my room smelled like smoke, and there were spots on the bathtub that looked like cigarette burns. Also, the continental breakfast leaves even more to be desired than most continental breakfasts. Basically, they have sugar for breakfast. There was no protein option.
