"Great hotel near Mammoth Cave"
Staff were very friendly, room was very clean. Hotel is minutes away from Mammoth Cave, Kentucky Action Park, and other area attractions. For the price, I would highly recommend. Kids also loved the pool. We went to Cracker Barrel, which was walking distance from the hotel, for breakfast, so I can't comment on the hotel food.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good service, clean room, but..."
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We like Comfort Inns, including this one. But half of the equipment in the exercise room was not working.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pretty good hotel."
I like Comfort Inns and Suites, as do my young sons, but this wasn't as nice as many that we've stayed at.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to restaurants and Mammoth Cave"
Very comfortable hotel. Very clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
maid service was terrible. They emptied the trash cans but did not replace the glasses or make the bed or throw away the newspapers and wine bottles that were placed right by the trash can.Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to attractions in nearby city"

"A hit with 5 year old grandson"
Loved indoor pool and breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed 3 nights and apparently they are only used to one night stays. We had to constantly ask for soap and shampoo. Nothing good to eat in the area other than Cracker Barrel and a Mexican restaurant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quiet, helpful front desk staff"

I arrived wanted a quiet evening for an early night's sleep so choose Comfort Inn as they were not on the highway frontage road. My room was directly across from the mechanical room with a constant hum. I asked the front desk if I could be moved & they immediately moved me to a room on the 3rd floor. Room was quiet, clean & comfortable. Breakfast was cereal & yogurt, didn't sample the available hot foods. This hotel is a quick 10 minutes from Mammoth Cave NP.
"Great hotel in the Cave City area."
We (my husband, 14yo son and I) have stayed in this area a couple of times before and this is the best hotel we have stayed at in this area. We had a king suite on the 3rd floor. Our room was clean and gave the 3 of us plenty of room. Our king bed was very comfortable, I was surprised that the pull out couch was a single with only enough room for one. Two adults and two children would not be comfortable without a roll away bed. Our room was quiet, I only heard the road noise once or twice. The breakfast was middle of the road, the food tasted better than some other places but not as good as others. Our son had a good time playing with a couple of other kids in the small pool. The staff here seemed very friendly. This hotel is centrally located to Cave city activities ( Kentucky Down under and Dinosaur world). We will stay here again next time we are in the area.

This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance from Cracker Barrel and McDonald's. Just off the Interstate, but very quiet. Nice clean room and good bed. Just about as close as you can get to Mammoth Cave, about two miles down the road.
"Wow, and not in a good way"

This hotel is def showing its age. In fairness it may have been the nicest hotel close to Mammoth caves but for this city boy it was a bit of a shock to the system. There are no pizza places that deliver to the hotel. But, there is a pizza hut within a mile or so. Why they do not deliver is beyond me. But, the hotel room was reasonably clean. They made a lot of confusing mistakes like knowing that a family of four was checking in but only giving you two towels. We did request more and they delivered them in about 30 minutes or so. The breakfast was actually pretty good by hotel standards. The hotel was packed because it was spring break so there was no place to sit and eat my breakfast but I just took a plate back up to my room. But, the coffee maker in my room was so old and archaic that it did not really produce coffee. I suppose it could have been user error but I have stayed at a lot of hotels in my days and never have I had a coffee maker produce a brown water like substance that sort of resembled coffee but not really. Also, the handle on the shower was so lose that adjusting the temp was tough. The pull out couch was super small. I had two young kids sleeping on it so we made do but it was probably twin sized maybe? All in all it was okay but certainly not some place I would want to stay again. When you were in the restroom you could hear the people in the room above you talking clearly. That was a bit disturbing for me.

We spent one night here during a visit to Mammoth Cave. We requested a roll away bed, but were not able to get one as they were all being used. Our room with two queen beds was comfortable. There was a pool and complimentary hot breakfast. This was close to all the things we wanted to do. We would come here again.
"Very nice, oversize rooms"

Hotel has relatively fewer rooms but very nice. Rooms are quite spacious in comparison to other hotels and decently appointed. Fridge and microwave in rooms. Nice place to stay in Cave City. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. Had both firm and soft pillows on bed so could choose - nice touch!

We spent 2 nights here while on spring break. I've stayed in much better Comfort Suites & Inns. There were 5 of us (2 children ages 7 & 11) and we had a room with 2 queen beds and a fold out sofa. There were no sheets or blanket for the fold out sofa. Front desk said they were supposed to be in the closet but none were there. At 4:30 pm, we requested the sheets and blankets and the desk clerk gave us sheets at that time but said we would have to wait for the blanket because they were in the dryers after having just been washed. At 8:00 I had to again ask for a blanket and was told they were still in the dryer. At 8:30, we finally received a blanket. The walls and floors were very thin and you could hear every footstep in the room above. If you stay here, ask for the 3rd floor so you don't have anyone above your room. The breakfast area was the other problem. The area is on the east side of the building and the east wall is all glass windows from floor to ceiling. The problem is that they have no curtains or shades. At breakfast, when the sun is coming up, it is blinding in the room. Management is apparently too "cost conscience" to install window shades.

The hotel staff was very kind and friendly. The hotel itself is outdated and didn't meet our expectations. The shower handle was broken. The bathroom was very outdated with a shower mat on the tub floor. I tried to remove it, but mold was growing underneath. The television was also outdated and I tried to use the menu button to get the picture to look a bit better with no luck. The grounds had a ton of cigarette butts on the ground. The breakfast was also a bit disappointing. On a positive note, the caves were amazing so we didn't spend too much time in the hotel.
"Great Family Visit"
Rooms are clean and spacious. I liked having a fridge and microwave in the room. Beds and pillows were comfy. The staff is friendly. One staff member helped my little girl through the breakfast line as I was tied up with my other two children. Little things make a great difference. The pool is somewhat heated (not freezing) and well maintained. They have a tiny game room. A bit bootlegged it was, but my kids enjoyed it. The location is great... Plenty of food nearby and a fun little go cart place is a few steps away. Great family stay! We will stay here again.
"Pretty good place to stay!"
My children and I stayed 2 nights on a weekend trip to Cave City. Check in and out was a breeze and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The only problem we had was we requested a roll away bed but both nights of our stay there were none available. The pool and game room were great for the kids. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Mammoth Cave.
