"Nice alternative to a hotel"
Those running the bnb were wonderful! Nothing bad to say about this place--may be staying again soon. (Here for business in downtown Portland and worked out just fine.)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable and great advice on local food."
Very pleased with a last minute addition to our tripGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff were very nice and the room we had was clean, large and charming. Air conditioning was loud but worked great and we were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was delicious and getting to eat it on the deck was a great start to the day. The location was perfect. A quick three minute walk down the street and you are on the beach. "short walk to Ocean and great resturants"
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Old Orchard Beach Inn. The room was large and comfortable. The shower had plenty of hot water. The staff was helpful and friendly. It was just a beautiful place to stay. We will stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This was my first B&B. Very comfortable and great staff. The TV was small so, true to my word, I only watched a little TV.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"This hotel was amazing. I love everything about i"
It was great. Everyone was super nice. The room was great. And the breakfast was so good. I can't wait to go back.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice B&B near beach"
Enjoyed our stay at this old colonial B&B near everything. Room was clean, well decorated. Breakfast was great with fresh baked scones. Staff was very accommodating to all our needs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Warm, welcoming B&B close to beach and Portland"
The Old Orchard Beach Inn us a wonderful place to stay if you're visiting Portland, or the boardwalk at Old Orchard Beach. The Inn's staff is knowledgeable about the area, and very pleasant to talk to. The rooms are immaculate, and the Inn is a great value. The breakfast is more substantial than I expected, and I definitely plan on visiting again if […] I'm in the area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Quaint hotel, worth the price!"
Stayed for one night but didn't spend much time at the inn or in Old Orchard Beach as we used it as a place to stay while mainly visiting Portland. However, the rooms were clean and when we needed a late check-in time after 10pm they easily accomodated us. Small continental breakfast was a nice touch as well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful old building"
Beautiful almost 300 year old building. Amazing to be able to stay in a building that old. Very well restored. You will have to take a few stair. Room wasn't very big, but it was all that I needed, Just a short walk down to the pier, and lots of places to eat near the pier. Very nice breakfast with lots of choices in the morning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Quaint Inn on the coast"
This place was great. Quiet, charming and very comfortable. We stayed in the original part of the structure, which was cool. Fantastic, would definitely return!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great time at Old Orchard Beach Inn"

"Great place to stay!"
The inn is more than I expected. The Inn is tastefully decorated and is absolutely SPOTLESS!. The inn was built in the 1700 and retains the wide hand-hewn floors and beautiful moldings. I would highly recommend this Inn to anyone looking for an alternate to the big hotels.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Oldest inn in Maine"
Loved the place Charming facility and host. Great breakfastGenuine Hotels.com guest review
You need to like Bed & Breakfast types of rooms to enjoy this setting. We loved the charm of the Inn and the location. I would say yes to going back here. If you have kids - might not be your place. Really a great place, easy to get along with staff, and a great location to do a lot of cool stuff up and down the coast.Genuine Expedia guest review

I was very pleased with Old Orchard Beach Inn. It was charming and quaint in a small town setting. The Inn was beautifully decorated and very clean. The only negative thing I can say is that an alarm clock in a nearby room went off around 12:30 a.m. and didn't go off until around 2:00 a.m. I don't feel this was the owners fault but it was very annoying. […] The continental breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Beautiful historic inn"
We very much enjoyed our stay at the OOB Inn. The bed was very comfortable and the plumbing, thankfully, was modern. Despite the inn being full or nearly full the two nights we were there, we had absolutely no trouble with noise either from the other guests or from outside, and we were able to sleep soundly. Kudos also to the owners for providing enough […] parking spaces. The inn is located just a short walk from the beach, The amusement park and pier seemed to be closed for the season, but a number of other shops were open. The beach is a sand beach, not rocks like so much of Maine's coastline. Breakfast was a sort of continental plus--there were hard-boiled eggs in addition to various baked goods etc. There is a Keurig coffeemaker in the lobby along with an assortment of K-cups and tea bags so you can have a cup of coffee or tea any time, and wonderful treats are placed out in the afternoon and evening. There are two Macintosh apple trees on the property, and we were encouraged to take some apples from a bowl in the lobby or pick our own, as many as we wanted to eat. of the small but juicy and crisp apples. If I have a gripe at all, it that there was very little space for our stuff in the bathroom, as the sink was a pedestal type with no countertop around it. A shelf or two would be very helpful and need not detract from the historic character of the house. Those with physical limitations should also be aware that the stairs are rather steep and shallow. This location was very charming and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Although we only stayed for 1 night, everything except the room size was pleasant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed two nights in late September, off season and quiet. The building itself is historic and beautiful. The location is ideal--close enough to the beach but far enough from the hubbub. I was upgraded from a single to a double with three windows overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was the star--homemade goodies every morning and a full complement of […] selections. If you want Orchard Beach without the razzle-dazzle, with a touch of historic New England, this is your place. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Very helpful staff, view is amazing, good breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were enroute to Bay of Fundy and made the stop at Old Orchard Beach - quite a lovely seaside town.I had booked one night at Old Orchard Inn and couldn't have been more pleased. This historic inn sits within walking distance to the town and the seaside attractions (which had just closed for the season. ) However we found a wonderful restaurant in […] town which served excellent seafood . My lobster dinner stuffed with crab meat and scallops was priced at $20. It may have been my best seafood dinner ever. The inn itself as well as the grounds are impeccable. The room was very comfortable and breakfast in the dining room was great. I highly recommend this inn. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"old orchard beach inn"
the room was clean; however, when we did not have the AC on because it was already cold outside there was a musty smell. Opening the windows was not the easiest but made it perfectly comfortable. Breakfast was adequate but could have been a bit more interesting.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great place to stay"
Room was very nice as was the location of the Inn. It was the best B&B I stayed at on the whole trip and also the least expensive, a great combination. The only negative was the breakfast was Continental style not freshly made.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Thank you for a great experience!"
My girlfriend and I stayed for two nights in early June. The hotel was a nice, quaint, historic site. It was amazing staying the night in such an old, historic building. The room was clean and orderly. The breakfast was AMAZING! Fresh fruits, bagels, freshly made scones, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful! The only downside to this location were […] the thin walls, which is expected of such an old house, and the comfort of the bed. The bed was a little small for my girlfriend and I. Other than that I would definitely go back without a doubt!!!!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nicest lodging in Old Orchard Beach"
What a gem the Old Orchard Beach Inn is. From what I could tell about the community this was probably the best lodging around. The building and the room were nostalgic but with quality.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Charming place to stay. Great staff, extremely accommodating. Free parking. WiFi. Perfect location for trips to Portland or southern coast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The inn was wonderful. It was clean and quaint and in the perfect location. The inn is right up the street from the pier and the beach and was perfect walking distance. It was a beautiful building with beautiful little rooms. I stayed in room 8 which could use a new mattress but it was still very nice. "Nice Inn, good location"
Overall the Old Orchard Beach Inn is a nice inn in a great location. The old part of the building was built in 1730, and the "new" part in 1830. The Inn has been updated, but obviously has a few quirks. The room we stayed in was small and irregular in shape, but was comfortable. The bathroom was small with low water pressure (but plenty of hot water). […] The breakfast was adequate, but a little disappointing. Fresher baked goods (the bagels) and nicer fruit would have improved it greatly. The staff were really nice, and the Inn was located a short walk to the beach. Overall I would stay there again. "This is New England"
Very quaint and exactly what we expected from a New England vacation. Wish we could have stayed longerGenuine Expedia guest review
The proprietor went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room (#7) was small and cramped and the bed felt like it was going to fall apart. The arrangement of the furniture could be done differently to maximized the space. The location would be wonderful during the summer but in October everything we expected to see was closed for the season. Nice breakfast. Steep stairs.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Beach down the street"
For the price we could of had a better breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good romantic option for couples"
This is a nice B&B. It offers the usual level of rather feminine and prissy decor that seems to be the norm for B&Bs. (My 6'2" of man-frame always felt like i was going to break whatever I sat on.) The rooms are nicely furnished w/ modern bath amenities. Breakfast was superb, with pastries that apparently were homemade because they were so much better […] than any I've had elsewhere. The bed was mediocre as I could feel the metal springs, but the bedding was very nice. The in-room flatscreen TV was both tiny and poor quality. The location is quite good if you want to be near the beach and its surrounding tourism. The building itself was great, authentically old and in good condition. It has the charming floor squeaks that lend authenticity to the antiquity of the facility. There is lots of helpful info in the rooms about local activities, etc. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Wow... our first bed & breakfast stay, and can't imagine not doing this again! So amazingly pleased with our experience. Loved this Inn with all its charm. Rick, who was the only employee we even saw, was very friendly, showed us to our room upon arrival, and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. (Be sure to go to The Landmark!) "Great example of an 'Olde New England' inn"
Our room was immaculate, bedding was beautiful and queen bed was very comfortable. Awesome sunrise over the ocean only 3 blocks away! Really nice to see old building being maintained so well. Plaque on outside entrance says 1730. We would definitely stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful spot to stay"
We were very pleased with the room, the service, the breakfast, etc. One thing that was lacking was light in our room. Half of the room was basically in the dark, making reading, looking at maps, etc. very difficult. We found ourselves kneeling on the floor with the reading material on the bed. Also, they say they have wifi but we found it extremely […] slow and unreliable. Since this is getting to be an accepted mode of communication, there needs to be some work done on that. We felt very safe walking in the neighborhood at night and found everything we needed within walking distance. We were there right after season so many of the shops, etc. were closed. However, the ones that were open gave us good service and some bargains in the mix. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
