This is a very "Las Vegas" style hotel. Grand and Plush. I booked a standard king room and was very impressed. Spotless, new, spacious and well designed. Bathroom is enormous and lovely with its walk in shower room, double sunken tub and dual sink vanity. Mini bar provides the essentials of liquor and soft drinks if willing to pay. Walk in closet with many extras. Bed is hard, but comfortable...although we did not use the "craft-matic" portion of the bed it did exist. Restaurant is one of the best we've eaten in in all of our stays in Guangzhou. Great breakfast buffet, and lunch buffet is fantastic with chefs on hand to cook at your desire. Worth the price... We did not eat dinner there, or sample the other restaurants but they looked very nice. Lobby is great place to meet with guests as they have a bar and often piano music played live to relax and enjoy. Location is the downfall of this hotel. There is NOTHING around it and smack dab in the middle of a manufacturing district. This was fine for us as we were here to meet with factories in the area. Simply put...if you have business in this area...this is the hotel to stay at...you won't be sorry!
