Fantastic swimming pool--take a look at the pictures. Room was great, beds a bit firm, but OK. We visited this hotel about 18 years ago, when it was... quite a bit smaller and it was then by far the best hotel on the jungle road to Palenque, about five k outside the town itself. The grounds of the hotel are very nice and the location to the ruins is perfect. The rooms are old, dated, musty, and in need of serious renovation. There is a moldy smell as the air conditioning is turned completely off when the rooms are unoccupied. Keep in mind this is located in a very high humidity environment. The pool was nice but a bit dirty. […] The food at the restaurant was poor as was the Pina Colada (stick with Corona). ¡El hotel está maravilloso! Enmarcado dentro de los comienzos de la selva que rodea a la zona arqueológica de Palenque. Los cuartos, los andadores, los puentes, el restaurante, la alberca... todo ideal para retirarte con la familia algunos días o para una escapada muuuy romántica con la pareja.
