This hotel was a good budget find, so I was very surprised to see how nice it was. The breakfast buffet, free wireless high speed internet and transportation to and from malls were great perks! I will definitely return to this hotel the next time I go to Dubai.

Flora Grand offered a perfect balance for me. I received great service. It has great amenities, a restaurant and a cafe. I loved the gym and spa, Internet was fast, free, and easy, and the area was very near the Metro and lots of fast food and shops and some nicer restaurants - and all this for a very low price.

The hotel has a policy (unwritten) that guests are not allowed to have visitors in their rooms!! I had a suite and was not allowed to have any business associates or guests visit. I am an adult and I do not need a chaparon to monitor me!

Very nice and clean Hotel. Friendly staff. Very close to the Dubai Airport and also in a safe area of town. The only negative mark i have is the room did not have a bath with jacuzzi jets as stated.

Expect a long line for breakfast, waiting for a table, with sub par choices. I was unfortunate to get one of their last available rooms. 1st floor, facing the street, so it was quite noisy from the street. Was told when i checked in that this is a family hotel, ie. no bar, no mini bar, no guests allowed etc. Quite puritan and strict. Grand Flora Hotel is in close proximity to the Dubai Metro making it faster and cheaper to get to the hotel from the airport. This also makes a saving on time spent in the Dubai City tracffic jams. I enjoyed my stay at Flora Grand Hotel. I was given a room upgrade and was very grateful. The hotel was very busy at check in and check out;however I didn't wait long in line. The hotel itself was good. The staff was friendly. It's located though so far from the things in Dubai that u would want to see. Booked the hotel based on trip advisors recommendation. Receptionists tend to be indifference rather than warm, friendly and welcoming. Perhaps could be the local cultural thing as this was my first visit. Facilities at the hotel was good for a 4 star hotel. Especially delighted by the reminder of complimentary airport shuttle by the hotel manager. […] A plus plus on that. Porter was friendly and made the effort to show me around the room. First time I received such service from years of travelling (mostly Europe and Asia). So was quite impressed. This is our second visit. Their restaurant, buffet dinners, is cheap and mediocre, catering for tour groups. Worth asking for the Indian/Pakistani A la carte menu, since the cooks, who come from that part of the world, enjoy doing that. Probably the hotel ought to supply a better small map of it's location for Expedia and other booking agencies. The subway station is, however, very near. my booking was for 2 adulte and 2 child but what i have got was only one dauble beet . which was not enough for 4 peaple . over all was good . but if you travelling with child you wont get a beet for your child . i cant recommend this hotel for peaple who are travelling with child
