This little hotel has location, location, location! It is less than 5-10 minutes walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, & Tempolo Adriano. It is about 15-20 minutes from the Coliseum, the Forum, and Vittoria Emmanuelle, around 25-30 minutes from Piazza del Popolo, and a half hour from the Vatican. Seconds away from the main artery Via Del Corso, you can’t get a better location for a more reasonable price. The front desk staff is wonderful and Tomosso in particular will not hesitate to recommend the best restaurants and tell you how to get to all the sites within Rome. He recommended fabulous restaurants and mapped out a walkable itinerary of sites daily for us. If you don’t care to walk, the hop on hop off bus is two minutes away. What really sets this hotel apart is the 5th floor outside deck with a panoramic view which is used for breakfast in the morning and a possible night cap at night. What a way to start and end a day. It was beyond gorgeous and really a delightful highlight to a memorable stay in Rome. The rooms are big enough to accommodate two easily and are clean and neat. The only difficulty I encountered was that I was unable to connect to Wi-Fi but instead used the downstairs computer. Some of the rooms on the upper floors are only accessible by a short stairway which is difficult with heavy luggage. Other than that, our stay was perfect and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

We did not get information that payment by card was not accepted. The breakfast was poor, bread from yesterday, cerials too sweet. The juice was more like lemonade than fruit-juice.

Had a great experience. Our triple room was clean and bed very comfortable, including pillows. 40 inch hd tv with all the sky channels with the options to switch to English language. Filled a form with time and choices for breakfast . Arrived on time and plenty of food. ( Italian style breakfast) . Front desk nice and helpful. Near American embassy, hard rock cafe' , villa borghese park( very nice!) . Would stay there again and reccomand it to friends and family

Room was so small that we could barely walk around the bed and there were no drawers in which to put clothes. The buffet breakfast, however, was outstanding and the location very convenient. Front desk staff could be friendlier. The room was much smaller than the photo for that level of accommodation

We just come back from spring break in Rome. Stayed in hotel for 3 nights. We asked for triple room (2 kids), but got 2 rooms: king bed in one and and couch in the other. Rooms are clean and big, with upgraded toilet. However, this is not 4* as you would expect. TV is small and old, bed is very hard, bedding and blankets need to be upgraded. It's quite […] simple thing to replace and I just don't understand why 4* hotel would use such cheap, outdated bedding. Hotel is unique and all rooms are different. We had private entrance. The Domus Romana was a great value. I booked a room for 2 people and they gave us a suite with a living room and kitchen. The balcony was a nice touch. All common spaces were beautifully decorated. Domus Romana was a wonderful hotel with great staff. They went out of their way for me in several ways; gave us the opportunity to take a room away from the noisy main road; offered a good breakfast with proper tablecloths and napkins. Greatest bang for your buck.We stayed here for three days from 23 Nov. 2011 to 26 Nov. 2011.Weather was cool and a light coat or sweater was sufficient. Took the train from Pisa to Rome central station and walked about ten minutes to the hotel. Great location for even walking to most of the sights. ATM two minute walk. Short walk from Termini station and quite easy to find.Pleasantly surprised to walk through the great wooden doors to a wonderful reception/courtyard. Even more impressed when we reached our room to find a beautiful,private terrace (quite large) off our room. We spent our early evenings enjoying the view with a glass of wine. we reserved this for three nights and ended up staying four. This stay exceeded our expectations. You can pay a lot more and get a lot less in Rome. The Room: The room was spacious for three people. A bedroom for two people and a living room for up to two others. The bedroom had a balcony-not a great view but great for the price. There was also a larger […] balcony on the 4th floor that overlooked the central courtyard. This unit was previosly a flat so it had a small refrigerator (mini bar but who's complaining), dishes and pots, a kitchen sink and heating elements to cook food. The bathroom was standard-clean, nice with a small shower. It had high ceilings and got little noise from the street. The staff was friendly and generally heplful. They didn't go out of their way but hey, it's Rome and they were better than a place we stayed 10 years ago. This was a god location, 10 minutes from the train station, walking distance to the Forum and near lots of the stuff you'll want to see. The Despar grocery store around the corner on Via Nazionale was a great, inexpensive place to stock up on water, fruit, pasta and more. Breakfast was abundant-as much as you wanted to eat, and a lot of variety. The baked goods weren't great but everyting else was. The only issue with breakfast was the squeeky toaster. Read more

Excellent location! We missed lots of things right in the neighbourhood as we ran out of time. You do not have to go far for the best food and sites. The tea is excellent. Breakfast is abundant with only an annoying toaster singing in the background that my 10 year old says sounds like a dying pig!

A very pleasant experience. The hotel is staffed with friendly personnel. The hotel is in a good location within walking distance of many tourist attractions. The rooms were spacious. Nothing fancy but certainly acceptable. The mattress was a bit hard and I never figured out how to use the remote control for the 13 inch TV in the room. Ask for a room […] opposite the street. The noise from the street, car honking and loud people was unbearable. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. It included various forms of juice, coffee, scrambled eggs, bacon and some tasty pastries. I was hit with a 2 or 3 euro tourism charge at check-out. For the budget-minded tourist that is not looking for any special perks and luxuries and in need of a clean, accommodating and cute hotel in the middle of Rome then this hotel is right for you. "Wonderful location - great value"
Convenient location not far from Roma Termini and within walking distance of many of the sites. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Although we weren't interested in cooking, having a refrigerator in the room was great. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. I'd definitely stay there again.

The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to many sights. It was very clean and the breakfast plentiful! The staff were very helpful at the front desk. My only complaint is the shower can run from hot to cold, but a minor problem. I would definetly stay again.

the two room apartment is NOT two bedrooms, instead it is one bedroom & another room which is a livingroom with pull-out couches. When I stated that ny kids were too big to sleep in a pull-out, the staff was hospitable & offered to move in twin beds instead.

The staff were friendly but the 24 hr service didnt exist any request took a couple of attempts to be looked at no hot water ,a non working tv and it took 24 hours and asking twice for an iron.

Vi var særdeles uheldig med rommet. Lå i 1.etage, rom 111 og hadde ikke viduer i selve rommet, kun et lite vindu helt innerst hvor man så rett på balkong til naborum. Viduet var ikke synlig før man gikk helt inn i kroken. Måtte bruke lys hele dagen! Bildene som vises i annonsen lyver litt. Beskrivelsen av rommet angitt i bekreftelse stemte ikke. Så […] til + siden. Beliggenhet er prefekt, frokost helt ok og hotellet ligger i et rolig strøk. Koselig utkrok til frokosten. ドマスロマ－ナホテル ロ－マ。日本語の予約サイトに、すべての部屋に浴槽とシャワ－と記載があったが、間違い。浴槽付きの部屋は少ないとのこと。2泊目から浴槽付きの部屋が空いたので変えてもらえた。朝食はけっこうボリュ－ムあるが、小食の私にはむしろ、朝食なしで安い方がいいかも...。スタッフは親切、こちらがイタリア語を話した(勉強中)せいか、マイナ－な美術館の情報も調べて親切に教えてくれた。

2日泊まりましたが、一日目はホテルの中庭で深夜3時頃までパーティーをやっていたので、かなりうるさかったです。。。2日目はパーティーがやってなかったのでとても快適に過ごせましたぁ(^з^)-☆ 立地がとてもよく、ホテルの人も感じがいいので全体的にはおすすめですが、パーティーがない日に予約した方がいいですっ!! 女性の方にもおすすめ(*≧∀≦*)

Tog til Rom, da flybilleten var meget billig. Vi fandt hurtigt ud af at hoteller også var billige på denne tid af året (februar) og valgte derfor et bedre hotel end vi normalt ville have gjort. I gå afstand fra Termini. tog toget fra lufthavn (28 euro), dog taxa retur (55 Euro). Hotelet var let at finde og receptionisten hjælpsom. vi fik kortnøglen […] udleveret og begav os mod rummet. Blev meget overrasket over værelsets størrelse. (30kvm), hvor vi havde alt hvad vi kunne tænke os af bekvemmeligheder. Værelset havde et køkken på den ene væg, skjult i højskabe. (håndvask, 2 kogeplader og et rigtigt køleskab) rigtig fedt når man rejser med børn. Fint badeværelse, som også havde en del gulvplads. Fornem morgenbuffet. Hvis man er til meget ro, skal man bestille et rum modsat vejen. vi havde værelse hertil med 2 store vinduer og man kunne høre trafikken på 3. sal. Men ikke noget man ikke kunne sove igennem, selv med et spædbarn. Hotelet har rejsesenge til babyer, som er til gratis udlån, ligesom internet i lobbyen. Alt i alt et rigtig fint hotel. skal man sætte en finger på noget, skulle det måske være det 15" fjernsyn, hvor farverne var helt skæve, passede ligesom ikke rigtig ind. Hotellet är i sig väldigt trevligt och i bra skick. Innergården, där frukost kan intas är mysig med liten fontän. Rummen är också ovanligt rymliga, men väldigt lyhört. Vi stördes av trafik och liv från gatan och liv i korridoren tidigt om mornarna. Ett stort plus för det stora badrummet och att rummet var tipptopp rent. Renlighet och hotellets skick […] är jag mycket nöjd med för priset jag fick. Till det negativa förutom lyhördheten är att det inte gick att få ens en kaffe från receptionen. Vi anlände sent och kunde inte ens få en smörgås. Frukostservicen är helt separerad från receptionen. Skandal för ett hotell som enligt egen utsago är 4-stjärnigt. Ännu sämre var personalens otjänstvillighet. Nattpersonalen var inte villiga att kolla upp ett nattöppet ställe för oss utan ryckte bara på axlarna. Skandalnonchalant personal överlag... Och när vi rekommenderades ett bra take away-ställe en dag var det uselt. De kan inte ha tyckt det var bra utan måste ha samarbetat med stället. Burkchampinjoner på italiensk pizzeria är inte ok... Läget är bra och nära till allt, men är proppfullt med usla turistfällor. Frukosten är bra med bacon och ägg som ej brukligt på många italienska hotell. Read more

"A decent hotel for your Rome visit"
We (2 couples -> 2 double rooms) stayed one night. The rooms were clean, breakfast ok. Nice personnel at the desk, good location. Some noise from the street but generally an ok hotel.
"God beliggenhet"
Greit og hyggelig hotell, som utpeker seg ved sin spesielt gode beliggenhet for dem som vil se de mest kjente attraksjonene og shopping i Roma. Fredlig bakgård med mulighet for utendørs frokost. Mulighet for sykkelleie. Vi hadde enliten appartment, men eneste komfortable "hvilestol" var en trang dobbeltsofa.

Hôtel de caractère, conforme au descriptif . Nous avons eu la chance de disposer d'une chambre pleine de charme, spacieuse ,très propre et fonctionnelle . Le personnel est accueillant et serviable,le petit déjeûner satisfaisant bien que la salle soit plutôt exigüe . L'hôtel étant situé à proximité des principaux sites touristiques(sauf le Vatican ) […] le métro,très proche,n'est pas indispensable. Til de som har tenkt å bo der: Får dere rom 101 eller 201 kan dere bare be om å få bytte med en gang. Hotellet og servicen er OK, beliggenheten er også bra - kort gangavstand til attraksjoner i sentrumsområdet og jernbanestasjonen. Var også opprinnelig fornøyd med plassering av rommet, inn mot bakgården. Men: rommet 101 (gjelder også 201) lå like […] ved hotellets festlokale. Her var det ungdomsfester hver kveld under oppholdet (torsdag til mandag). Konkret betød dette ekstremt høy musikk til ca kl 02:00, masse fulle folk som står og røyker og roper rett utenfør(!) døren til rommet vårt. Helt, totalt umulig å sove. Resepsjonen er selvfølgelig klar over dette, men hevder dette ikke har skjedd før (selv om nettsiden deres reklamerer for dette "arrangementsrommet"). Sendte heller ikke de høylytte røykerne ut (på tross av klage), selv om hotellet er non smoking. Da vi var nede for å lufte vår misnøye med festingen utenfor døren vår, traff vi til og med på de som hadde rom 201 - som hadde akkurat samme problem (resten av rommene har tykke dører mellom dem og festlokalet, som både tar vekk mye av støyen og røykingen). Mener selv at vi ikke er overfølsomme overfor nevnte problem - har bl.a bodd i et hotell Aya Napa (over en bar), og støynivået var ikke i nærheten av det vi opplevde her. Resten av hotellet er OK, men vårt opphold (på hotellet) ble fullstendig ødelagt av dette. NB! Siste natten ble vi tilbydd å bytte rom - ikke før. Løsningen ble å ikke komme tilbake til hotellet før etter kl 02:00. Litt slitsomt i lengden. Godt Roma er sånn en fantastisk by at du ikke trenger å være på hotellet! Read more
"Domus Romana i Rom - tæt på alt, god service"
Hotellet ligger meget centralt for både seværdigheder og shopping. Alt inden for gå afstand og tæt på metro og busser, hvis man vil lidt længere væk. Gode værelser og en meget hjælpsom reception med tid til både at være "turistguide" og hjælpe med bordreservationer i restauranter m.v.
