For only $130.00 a night, this was great! The hotel staff was amazing and the breakfast buffet was top notch! Our room was cleaned every day and we even came back one evening and found kissing towel swans on our bed - hehe. My husband and I had massages from the spa and were very pleased. My husband even went back the next day for an acupuncture treatment. […] The hotel is just a couple of blocks from the train which is very clean and air conditioned. The out-door pool didn't open until the day we left which was the only negative but that is just a seasonal thing - no big deal. When you get there, you must visit the Dead Sea and cover yourselves with the healing black mud, so cool! Also, the staff recommended a personal tour guide named "Ashur" and he was fantastic! The rate, the breakfast and the room were wonderful! However, the entering the hotel by car worked out ok, however the "light rail tracks" caused the hotel to be cut off from being entered in from the street side. A very long route needs to be taken then a U-turn around to back track in order to get back to the hotel. This wasted a lot of time and because […] of the poor instructions from the hotel staff it took several tries before we figured out the situation. Also, the hotel is far away from the Old City and main tourist areas. Some staff in the main desk, were helpful but others not, regarding providing adequate directions and help. Very friendly and curteous. If you have a car rental parking a bit rough . Compared to American Hotels I would put the rooms at a Days Inn type of enviornment which is very decent. Mattresses a bit antiquated. Would give this one to two stars. Cost was pricey. Breakfast was very basic, could have done without it. Rooms were old, carpet had dirty feeling. Bathroom was clean, shower head very good. Except for the manager at reception, not a single employee said a single word to us. The TV and safe did not work, the air conditioning was noisy and not very effective, the bathroom was not clean and the hotel is located on a main road leading to 2 major hospitals. Not a good experience. Out of 4 nights that I stayed there were 2 night events where the hotel rented their party hall resulting in very loud vibrating noise throughout the hotel until 1:00am. Room outdated although reasonably clean. Breakfast poor. Staff not very friendly.

It's the lowest priced hotel I could find in Jerusalem, so I cannot complain. The hotel is in a reasonable state and very comfortably located, near pulic transportation and the light train. Hotel states it has parking but I really wouldn't call it that, very few parking spots and they are mainly taken by taxi and staff cars. Underground parking is one way so if you go in you have to drive a long way back in reverse, on an uphill curve. Not fun at all! Air-conditioning is powerful but it was directed at our beds so the cold air was blowing at us and there's no option to change the direction. Alltogether, it was ok to spend a couple of nights. The room was worn and basic, but clean. The hotel was overrun with teenage travelers, bute the reception was nice enough to put us on a floor with none of the loud kids. I was very concerned about staying here after reading the Trip Advisor reviews, but had a great stay at the Leonardo Inn. The lobby is attractive and there are a couple of computers there which was useful (there is a charge). The staff were very kind and helpful. If you're like me and don't do that, you'll be fine! There was a mini fridge, kettle, tea/coffee, and a good selection of international TV channels. For the price of the hotel, breakfast was a generous variety of salads, cheese, fish, eggs, breads, cereal, cakes and cooked dishes (which were hit-and-miss). The location was great, an easy 10 minute walk to/from the Central Bus Station, and a 2 minute walk to/from the light rail station, which takes you into town. Abbiamo scelto questo albergo per il parcheggio auto gratuito e per il rapporto qualità prezzo. Visitare Gerusalemme con l'auto è impossibile e cosi' abbiamo parcheggiato l'auto nel parcheggio coperto a disposizione dell'hotel e usato il tram dalla fermata piu' vicina all'hotel (100m). La struttura sorge a 6 fermate di tram dalla città vecchia e a poco […] meno di 2km a piedi. Una volta arrivati all'hotel abbiamo scoperto che la spa e l' health club erano gratuiti (noi non ne abbiamo usufruito). Il personale dell'hotel è molto gentile e disponibile, la sera dello shabbat, il portiere ci ha chiamato due taxi per raggiungere il centro e ha contrattato per noi una cifra molto conveniente. ( E' molto difficile che i taxi di gerusalemme usino il tassametro e non aumentino i prezzi durante lo shabbat). Camera molto confortevole con ampio bagno e bottiglietta d'acqua gratuita di benvenuto. Colazione internazionale. Pulizia molto buona. Read more
