Overall we were pleased with our stay at the Hotel Rimonim. We had a lovely view of the Red Sea and the hills of Jordan. The breakfast buffet is fabulous! The room had a small fridge and the ability to make coffee....all very appreciated. The bed was two twins pushed together....not very comfortable. The location is good: close to the sea and to the center. But the beach is small and near the market. There are to exits/entrances to the hotel and the most convenient (close to the beach and to the center) works from 10 to 22, so most time, when you need it (in the morning and in the evening), it is closed. Not kept up, room smelled of smoke even though was non-smoking room. Front desk and backage services very poor, we waited 20 min to get our bags our of check because the guard at front door with key wanted to be on his 2 cell phones vs. helping people.

Lots of children everywhere. Pool wa filled with kids at all hours. Rooms are nice enough food is actually excellent quality. Would reccomendation bringing your children here but not by yourself.

The Rimonim Neptune is right on Red Sea in Eilat, the rooms are modern and clean and the staff is helpful. The room was half the price of the larger hotels like the Dan Panroma or the Crowne. The Jordanian border is less than 10 minutes away so you can book a day tour of Petra and be back before 6PM. We enjoyed our stay at the Rimonim. It is located conveniently to the other large hotels on the Red Sea, several shopping centers, the Eilat Museum and even the airport (if you have minimum luggage you could actually walk to/from the airport). The hotel is very modern with convenient amenities such as the pool, secure access to the beach, synagogue […] and dining room. The breakfast was excellent, offering many dozens of choices. The only thing that disappoined us is that we were supposed to be able to get an hour of internet time free while in the lobby, but when we tried it at two different times, it didn't work. This hotel, which advertises itself as quiet, is anything but. They blast music from the pool area until late at night, so loud that even their soundproof balcony doors can't protect you. The beach is ugly and dirty and surrounded by a shopping strip and noise. This hotel has clearly oriented itself not for foreign tourists but for a clientele that […] want noise, shopping. It is clean and the breakfast is sumptuous but the overwhelming take-away is that it is not for resting, relaxing. Also the pool hours are inconvenient if you are touring. Only open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. I would suggest staying out of town near the Egyptian border or in Taba in Egypt, where the hotels are cheaper, lovely, etc. If you want a noisy, active hotel with little opportunity to rest in the middle of downtown, this is ok, but over-priced for what it is. While check in went smoothly and the hotel grounds are quite attractive, I found the room furnishings worn and therefore unattractive. The room could also have been a bit cleaner. While this is officially a non smoking hotel, my room was filled with cigarette smote apparently coming through the a/c/ vent. Breakfast buffet was included in the price and it was excellent (was a weekday there) with selection quality and variety exceeding a 5 star hotel we ate at near the Dead Sea. This is a large indifferent and undistinguished hotel. It was crammed to the rafters for the Passover holiday and overall was not a particularly enjoyable experience. If you have a young family and/or like being kept awake until the wee small hours of the morning then this is the place for you. However - Expensive wireless Internet service ($6/hour and not too fast). If you need to use the Internet, you are much better off walking East on the beach about 300 meters to Aroma coffee bar, which has […] free and fast wireless Internet. Beware and double check the prices offered by the stewardess in the lobby for different attractions. They are NOT hotel employees and we found that they did not offer seniors' and other discounts to the Dolphin Reef, although at the site those discounts were offered. Møtet med betjeningen i SPA-området var svært forvirrende og uprofesjonelt håndtert; det samme gjaldt betjeningen ved svømmebassenget. De bjeffet beskjeder til gjestene eller ignorerte oss og snakket kun med hverandre. På rommet […] reklamerte de med roomservice av mat, men det var uforståelig for resepsjonisten at vi ville benytte oss av dette tilbudet. Dejligt hotel. Fantastisk morgen buffe - den var enorm, kæmpe udvalg. Lækker opvarmet pool og pool område. Havde været godt hvis personalet i reseptionen var noget bedre til engelsk.
