Americas Best Value Inn - Liberal

In a word my stay was YUCKY. The room was old and gross. There was rust on features in the bathroom. The internet didn't work. The free breakfast was "pastries and coffee" which was old looking wrapped "honey buns" that you get out of a box. This place needs a serious facelift. It was cheap--that was the only redeeming feature.

The hotel was very clean and had all that u needed. Microwave refrigerator wifi and a nice fan. Hotel staff very nice and accommodating. Good location but seedy area as lots of businesses out of biz! And smelled like a barn yard outside only. Worth the money ! We watched the maids pull all the beddings including the comforters.

Maintenance in the room needs attention. One bedside lamp did not work, bathroom sink drained but very slowly as the plumbing needed to be cleaned out. Front desk people were not particularly helpful. The breakfast consisted of convenience store type packaged donuts..we passed on the breakfast at the hotel and had a great breakfast at the Pancake house […] two doors down. The bed was very hard and the pillows were terrible. The blanket was small and very very old. The rest of the room was fine but we didn't sleep well at all .

WE WENT TO THE OFFICE AT 7AM FOR ROLLS AND COFFEE. THE DOOR WAS LOCKED. IT HAD SNOWED AND THEY PILED THE SNOW IN FRONT OF THE DOORS, SO YOU HAD TO CLIMB OVER IT TO GET TO THE ROOM. THEY ARE WAITING FOR A LAW SUIT.
