"Comfortable Inn with terrific breakfasts"
This Inn offers lovely public spaces and terrific breakfasts. Our room was quite small with a minute bathroom. There was not sufficient space for us to sit in our room and the public space could be quite busy, if you want to stay out of the hot Calistoga sun. Despite this, were able to find a shade in the lovely garden. We greatly enjoyed the splendid […] and diverse breakfast offerings. We were within a block from the downtown and a short drive from a many attractions. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"conveniet but lacked personal touch"
Checked it at 5 and misread small print about late check in charges that got added. Room was ok, but front of property and very noisy because of adjacent crossroads (try to select rear rooms), traffic along road interrupted sleep. Breakfast was good and host was knowledgeably in the morning, but didn't stay at property.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely experience for first stay at B&B!"
Beautiful place. Nice hearing others' outings. Good food.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful little place"
We had a great experience in this inn. The location is good, right across the main avenue (all the restaurants and shops are here). The inn offers a complimentary shuttle to different wineries, you only have to call them and they will pick you up and drop you off in only a few minutes. The owners are super nice and they are worried about every detail. The […] breakfast is good and offers some healthy alternatives. Everything is walking distance because Calistoga is very small, but it is also close by car to St. Helena and Napa. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Quiet and pleasant B and B. Breakfast was wonderful, fresh and local. Gardens were very nice. Great location for wine country and walking downtown.Genuine Expedia guest review

"a little close for comfort"
This was our first foray into the B&B scene so we didn't know exactly what to expect. Nick & Gillian and Steve are super nice. The Breakfasts were amazing - so much so that I bought her cookbook so I could make some of the delicious dishes at home. The room was slightly disappointing. It was a lot smaller than I'd imagined from the photos. The bed was […] comfy enough, there just wasn't enough room to put out your suitcase anywhere. There was a small closet and a dresser but I am not one to unload my suitcase for a 4 day stay. Consequently, I had to squeeze the small suitcase into the corner on 2 suitcase stands (which was fine) however, then I would have to literally squeeze past it to get into bed. So that was less than desirable. The only other things I might mention would be irregular water pressure in the shower. It's an old house, so you have to expect some quirkiness but my husband had issues a couple of times with a sudden drop in pressure while showering. Additionally, there was a bit of road noise. It settled down after 10:30 or 11, but it's something to keep in mind if you need quiet. Otherwise, we enjoyed our visit and liked that we could walk into the small town of Calistoga within minutes. "Great Breakfast before a Day of Wine Tasting"
Not all B&B's are the same on the breakfast part. Quality of home cooking is usually excellnt but some places just serve muffins with coffee, tea etc. Wine Way had a full breakfast with egg and veggie casserole or cinnmon French toast, plus fruit, yhogurt, granola, juices, coffee and tea. You want a full meal like this before wine tasting. Location […] in Calistoga is at the far north end of the Napa Valley; convenience depends on where you're doing your winery vists. The manager Daloha was warm & very informative. The place was adorable with many outside patios where you could mingle with other guests or find a private spot. You could walk to the town. Many attractions were also close by. If you visit make sure you eat at Jole. A real culinary treat!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"First stop on our honeymoon"
This was our first time at a bed and breakfast, and it was on our first stop on our honeymoon. The people were friendly, the breakfast was amazing, and we got an amazing night's sleep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Town/Country stay in Upper Napa Valley"
The hosts, Nick and Steve, and the outstanding breakfasts are great! The location is really on the highway thus making the country aspect a bit distant, especially if staying in the Napa room, closest to the sounds of upper valley traffic. Guests can mingle or remain private as per their choice and every effort is made to see to your comfort and enjoyment. […] The terraces offer a nice retreat. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great little B&B with a fantastic breakfast. A nice break from the chain motels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Loved the idea that the spa was right next door and that we could walk to all of the downtown stores and restaurants. Calistoga is a quaint little town and I truly hope it never changes.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Quaint and home-like"
The inn was beautifully furnished and well-taken care of. Nick (the owner) met me at the front door when I arrived and carried my suitcase upstairs for me. He gave me a tour of the property and made sure I knew about the complimentary wine, tea/coffee and muffins that were always kept out in the parlor. He was more than willing to suggest a restaurant […] for dinner within walking distance in the main downtown area of Calistoga. My room was comfortable, although small, and reminded me of being at home. Breakfast the next morning was fantastic - homemade granola, poached peaches and fresh fruit/berries, vegetable frittata and my downfall, homemade cherry almond scones. The dining room is light and airy and there is also seating outside on the redwood deck. I would definitely stay here again - I hope next time it will be for leisure and for more than a day. The inn is right on Hwy. 29 in the middle of Calistoga and convenient to any location in Napa Valley. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their inn and their service. This was our first time to wine country. Our short stay was perfect. Nick and his son both gave excellent advice. The room was very cozy with cold AC! The breakfast was delicous. I highly recomend. Don't miss the taqueria next door if you like real mecican food.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A comfortable night's stay"
We stayed at the Calistoga Wine Way Inn for one night while touring Napa Valley. Calistoga appears to be a typical small agricultural town; not much to commend it overall, but there are some nice shops and it's an easy walk downtown from the inn. The inn itself sits right on the highway, which might be a bit noisy if you're in one of the front rooms […] in the main house. Our room was in a little cabin in the back. It was a bit on the rustic side, but comfortable and quiet. The grounds are nicely landscaped and the common areas are quite nice. The breakfast was one of the best we've ever had in a B & B - don't miss the walnut/maple scones! The owners and staff were very cordial and helpful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful, accommodating hosts in a convenient b&b"
My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights on our vacation to Napa wine country, and we really enjoyed our stay at this b&b! Gillian and Nick were so kind and inviting right away, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We ended up having some problems (i.e., there was a problem with the toilet in one room and then the next room we were […] moved to was booked for the following night; later, we both were sick and spent one of our vacation days in our room unfortunately) but in all circumstances, our hosts modeled what good service and generous behavior should be, and we didn't feel like these "problems" were any sort of nuisance. In addition, the location was perfect for getting to the smaller wineries that we loved. We hope to get back to the Napa area soon, and when we do, we will be checking with Calistoga Wine Way Inn for vacancies! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great inn, a little bit noisy by the road"
Make sure to get the Oakville room if you want to enjoy your own little balcony on the patio (its the only room to have this perk). Bring some earplugs, the main street in front of the inn gets really noisy starting at 4h30 in the morning. We got disturb by this even if we had the furthermost room. Otherwise beautiful little inn, very friendly owner […] and great breakfast in the morning. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

We loved this Inn. The proprietor was gracious and an amazing cook! We will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
THE STAFF WERE VERY KIND AND POLITE. IT IS AT CLOSE DISTANCE TO THE ROAD, SO IT IS NOISY AND YOU HEAR CARS AND TRUCKS ALL THE TIME. ASK FOR THE ROOM IN THE BACK. FOOD( BREAKFAST) WAS SUPERB. YOU CAN NOT FIND SUCH A GREAT CUISINE.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Super cute & Clean"
Wonderful Hospitality and Accomodations. Great Fresh breakfast. Would stay again and can't wait till we do!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room we had (the Napa room) fronted the highway and was therefore noisy. I will gladly stay at this facility again as long as it is not in that particular room. Breakfast was excellent. The book selection is mediocre. The Wine Way Inn provides an easy stroll to downtown Calistoga restraunt and spa facilities.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very charming bed and breakfast - hosts were very pleasant. Breakfast excellent. Rooms are tiny and water pressure in the sinks non-existent. The shower was OK. It's on a busy road, but walking distance to downtown Calistoga. Overall good value for the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Cute Bed and Breakfast"
This is a charming bed and breakfast located near Calistoga downtown. The rooms are rather small for the price range, but the hotel makes up for it with its cozy family atmosphere and friendly service. The breakfast was delicious.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pleasant... but not great."
My husband and I had been here before, about 3 years ago and had a great experience. This year, the actual owners of the B&B were out of town, and they had a very nice couple who were caretakers. That said, the person mostly responsible for the inn - the husband - was a bit spacey, did not show us how to turn the heat on in our room until the room was […] FREEZING cold in the middle of the night, said "Well, it's cold downstairs where we are, too!" (NOT helpful). Apparently, even though it is at the end of December and bitterly cold outside most nights, they left the heat off and we did not realize this until it was 3 am and we were miserable, because we did not know how to turn up the heat. The breakfasts were a bit scanty compared to how they were 3 years ago. The icebox-cold room aside (it was the Napa room), it was a pleasant - not superb - two nights. I recommend checking to see if the owners are back before booking a room... Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"walk to town"
We enjoyed the location being within walking distance to Calistoga for shopping and restaurants. It was nice to not need the car in the evening. Nick, the host was a pleasure and made a wonderful breakfast. He made us feel very welcome. Unfortunately it rained and we did not get to use the lovely decks.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Lovely room and tremendous breakfast"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wine Way Inn and it was great to meet the owners – fellow Bristolians, to our surprise! There was some work going on at the hotel while we were staying there but this did not impact on our stay at all, apart from having to nip up the road to their sister hotel for breakfast, where the food was delicious. Calistoga […] itself is quite small but cute and a great location for exploring surrounding wine country. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
