This hotel was just steps away from the cathedral and worth every penny. Mind you, I'm in my 20s and a fresh graduate, so I couldn't spend too much, but I'd definitely come back even if I had a bigger budget. The staff was kind and helpful.

Beautiful from the outside. Inside, it was clean and roomy. But the room furnishings were seriously lacking and not up the expected standard. The bed was adequate, but not particularly comfortable. The bathroom was quite nice. Breakfast was very good, but very expensive. Overall, it was a nice hotel but seriously overpriced for what we got.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. We received a very fine internet price for a large family room. It was right across the street from the main train station and convenient to the central sights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were quite comfortable with springs, unlike many places in Europe. The only drawbacks were the room door handle which was difficult to unlock because it needed fixing, although the staff addressed it as soon as we mentioned it, and the bathroom which was a little bit mildewy. However, those tiny details did not mar a very pleasant stay. We will definitely use this hotel on our next trip to Strasbourg.

We chose this hotel since it was directly across from the Cathedral, and quite close to all the Christmas Markets, and still close to Petite France. Plus, we took one free night using my Hotels.com credit. Strasbourg is very lovely, especially at Christmas, and the location was superb. The only two qualifications on that was the room overlooked the Cathedral SQ, which would have been fine except for the musicians playing the same songs (not Christmas Carols) over and over from 9am until around 8pm. How many times can you listen to Lady of Spain on an accordian and trumpet? Yikes. The other qualification was the recommendation we got for dinner at Chez Yvonne. This was not a "fine" restaurant. Tables, in all 3 stories are packed side by side. VERY crowded and uncomfortable. The service was quick, thank god, but the food was second rate. We saw lots of folks from our hotel, so figure that they have a "deal" to send clients there. Not a good choice. The breakfast at the hotel, on the other hand, was excellent, even at 12 euros.

This hotel is just one step up from a youth hostel. Positive comments: quiet, safe appearing residential neighborhood. The room was clean when I arrived. Negative comments: Although I was able to sleep in the bed, the mattress is very flat, the pillows are little more than two sheets of fabric sewn together, the linen is cheap and worn. I stayed for […] 3 nights: the thin, scratchy towels were never changed, there were a few dishes I left in the sink (there is a small stove which I didn't use and mini sink) never got washed by the maid. On my third night, while I was in the room reading, a group of noisy students opened my door with a key they'd been given by the staff. Apparently the staff mistakenly gave them my room key, but if I hadn't been there, my things might have been stolen. The staff at the desk were not particularly helpful with directions, etc. NOTE: this hotel is a good 20-30 minute walk from the train station. I will not stay at this hotel again. Read more

Basic, but excellent deal for the money! Room was small but perfect for our one night stay and the breakfast the next morning was awesome. Location is good - parking is available and you can walk into the downtown area and see all the sites.

Where to start? Upon arrival we were told that the elevator was broken & that it should be fixed within the hour. We trudged up 3 floors to check out the room, & left our bags in our car. We went out to explore & when we came back several hours later, the elevator was running, so we brought everything upstairs. When we left again an hour later, we found […] that the elevator was broken. We told the front desk & they replied that it was impossible. No, we said, it's possible & it's definitley not working, but they weren't quite convinced. It was fixed by the time we got back later that evening. The price was lower than average in peak season in Strasbourg, but they nickel & dime you....8€/day for parking, 8€/breakfast (we cooked our own in the minimally equipped kitchenette). We found out on our 3rd day that we could purchase (for 2.80€) a kit for dishwashing. We declined to use their wi-fi, because it was at extortionate rates. The bathroom was teensy & smelled of stale urine. They provided 1 tiny sliver of soap for 2 people staying 4 nights. Maid service was spotty. If you were out of your room before 10 am, you got maid service; if you had the audacity to be in the room, forget it. The maid left the dirty dishes in the sink. For curtains, we had only sheers, the pull-down shade having long ago been removed. On the positive side, it was nice being in a residential neighborhood, & the tram was a few minutes away, so it was pretty convenient. Doubt we'd stay there again. Read more

The hotel is situated near the city center, so a lot of sights are within walking distance. The room was small but clean. For a short stay the hotel was perfect.

This is not a bad hotel at all. The location is fairly central and near to buses and trams which have extensive networks. The smallish room was surprising well laid out for two people. Likes: despite the small 'bathroom' the shower was pleasant and hot - but no plug in the sink; towels were changed ever day - but did run out of toilet paper. The double […] bed was comfortable. it was easy to leave luggage on day of departure to pick up later - though we were not asked to prove which luggage we were picking up. Dislikes: for a self catering flat there was hardly any equipment - luckily we had brought our own kettle. However one small pan hardly makes cooking easy. I enjoyed my stay here, and I do stay in a great variety of hotels in Strasbourg, where I am once a month for four days at a time. This is very convenient off the Boulevard Clemenceau, and easy to walk to the parliament, or into town, or to the nearest tram line. Overall very good value for money.

Hotel très bien situé, non loin de la gare, dans un quartier calme. Aucun soucis durant nos 3 nuits, juste petit hic au niveau de la vaiselle fournie, pas de bol ni de poêle, une simple casserole reste limite pour tenir plusieurs jours.

Vi har haft et dejligt ophold på Cap Europe, med en lækker standard lejlighed, som havde alt hvad vi havde behov for. Lå tæt på en tram, men også i gåafstand til bymidten. Dejligt stille område med flotte omgivelser. Et lille supermarked og bager samt to kiosker meget tæt på. Alt i alt super til prisen!

Le confort laisse a desirer chauffage a la limite, déco de mauvais gout et equipement trés limite. Cependant l'hotel est idéalement placé a deux pas de la vielle villeet le prix est trés bas. Malgrés ma critique je ne m'attendais pas a mieu pour le prix demandé.

Bonne literie. le quartier est sympa et à proximité d'un tram, idéal pour sillonner la ville dans tous les sens .avons apprécié de pouvoir laisser la voiture dans la cour intérieure de l'hôtel . seul point négatif : le manque d'ustensiles de cuisine ; même pas un saladier , une poêle et encore moins une cafetière […] ! il faut simplement le savoir et prévoir. La qualité du service est nulle,je dirai même qu'il n'y a aucun service.Quand à l"équipement de l'hôtel,il laisse à désirer.Nous étions un couple,à notre arrivée,il y avait 2 serviettes,donc il fallait les utiliser aussi bien pour la douche que pour la toilette du matin. Pour le studio, la salle de bain est de type cabine, tout en composite, environ 1.5m2. Equipement de la kitchenette reduit au plus strict minimum. Linge de lit pas dans sa plus fraiche jeunesse. Immeuble tres calme, tramway a trois minutes. Beaux immeubles dans le quartier.

Pratique car les chambres sont équipées de kitchenettes. Par contre, si quelqu'un veut utiliser internet, il est dur parfois d'avoir du reseau dans certaines chambres.

Hôtel calme et vraiment bien situé pour le prix. Par contre une odeur horrible dans la chambre et surtout dans la salle de bain. Du coup la présence dans la chambre a été limitée ... La kitchenette n'est pas très bien fournie en vaisselle, et celle-ci n'est pas très propre. Sinon le personnel est agréable. Le parking est dans l'hôtel même
