A hybrid between a hotel and a low-income housing
I was put into a studio not a room - even though I did not request that, so I can only talk about that. There was a small kitchen equipped with a stove and a fridge and basic silverware and plate, which was nice. The bathroom was tiny but the water was perfectly hot. The bed was decent and the TV had some channels in French and some in German, which wasn't nice.

Awesome hotel
There is nothing bad I can say about this hotel. If you really really push for something, the laundry facilities are small and tucked away I the basement, but that's not really a bad thing. I was able to walk all around Strasbourg without any issues. The hotel is on one side of the city, you can walk to see everything, or catch the city tram. The team stop it's a block away. I will be staying here again on my next visit and I would recommend this to anyone headed to Strasbourg.

Good location, quiet hotel.
I only stayed one night. Hotel was easy to find. Hotel parking is only for guests staying two nights, but the reception informed street parking was free after 7pm until 9am. Easy walk to the cathedral and Christmas markets. Hotel breakfast was good and worth the 8.50E.

The hotel is in a good location for sightseeing. One can walk to the cathedral in a matter of minutes. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Cap Europe
This is a fairly basic hotel, but it served my needs (mostly). The kitchenette had two burners and a small refrigerator plus silverware, glasses, and plates. The bathroom is all one unit that looks like it belongs in a camper, with only a shower. It was clean, though, and came with 2 towels. The worst feature of the hotel was the wifi. It cost 9 euros for 24 hours, but it was very unreliable. I got kicked off repeatedly and had to re-sign on multiple times. This can be very frustrating. I tried to use the lobby computer, but it didn't seem to work at all, so the wifi won. Also, it is a 15-20 minute walk from the train station, and approximately 15 minutes from the European Parliament buildings and the old town. I would recommend Cap Europe and I would stay there again.
