I stayed last weekend. It was sunny but very windy on the boardwalk. The hotel is very close to the Boardwalk and a 10 minute drive to Paintball, Go-Karting etc. The overall rating is relatively low only because the facilities were about average. Nice place seam to have been newly painted. rooms clean and nice. beds were little hard. had no hot water for first 1 1/2 days. the moved our check out time to 1 from 11am that was good! Would go again. this was in suite with 2 king beds....

The hotel was nice and staff were friendly on check in Friday evening. Suite was nice but we experienced several problems; hot water did not work until second day, drain broken in tub, room never got cleaned. Location was great.

I did not have the room i had requested and was not informed ahead of time that i would not. i was put in another building with no view except a parking lot. The decor was old and faded. the beds and pillows were very hard and outdated. I thought i was going to be staying at a nice hotel but was very dissapointed

The room was bigger than expected, which was nice. But we brought with us food and when we went to use fridge it was disgusting. Halls smelled of sewage, and our room was close to the janitors closet and the halls were junked up with all the maids trash. Don't think I will stay there again

Front desk staff and cleaning staff extremely polite. Elevator was a little slow, but overall it was a great hotel. I would definitely stay their again.

I have stayed many times in OC....even here before. The only thing bad to say was the floor was NOT swept...there was so much sand/dirt that I used a towel as a doormat at the foot of my bed to keep sand OUT of my bed!

This hotel was very dirty. Only two housekeepers on duty for the entire hotel! Love the lay out of the two king suite but needs to be updated! Beds were very hard!

I would not recommend this hotel. The place was filthy old and smelly. The only good thing about it was the location and the ocean front view. The mattresses were at least 20 years old and had springs hanging out of the sides. The towels could take your skin off they were so cheap and worn out. Don't waist your money here!

Two televisions, one remote. I asked a few times about getting an additional remote without response. Bedspreads were not laundered with stains on the underside and hem. Yuck. Some of the things were outdated. For example, the phone in our 1 room did not work. And there were a lot of missing dishes in the kitchen. But overall it was a great experience! Staff was very accommodating.We will stay there again.

My wife and I enjoyed the rooms size and how clean everything looked. However it was suffering the end of season rundowns. The maid service missed a few things and we had to pay to fill the ice bucket.

I was so disappointed in this hotel....the hotel was dirty and so much was broken both inside our room and outside. I wouldn't expect this for the amount of money they charge per night. I've stayed other places for a lot less and got so much more. I hope they do some renovations soon and hire more staff!

Clean rooms,comfortabl beds,good servive from staff .lLocation was ideal, steps to beach, a short walk to the inlet section and shopping all around. The only thing not so good is the parking. We had no assigned space and had to park in overflow several times.

Rooms had a mustty smell, dust all over smoke dector and sprinkler head, 1st night ,we went out the next morning when we got back we had clean towels but dirty towels were still in bathroom, could uses some new mattresses.

Rooms were dirty appearing, walls needed to be painted, bathroom was dingy and appeared dirty. Porch/Balcony was dirty. Staff at front desk was not friendly upon check in, the day of check out that girl was very pleasant.

Good only for sleep. We stayed in the 2 room suit this time and it was not as clean and nice as the regular room we stayed in the spring. The things we noticed were the toilet leaked, was always clogged, patio door takes 2 people to operate, footprints on the wall, mold all around the tub, only the third floor has an ice machine that looked like someone […] beat it up for the change, there are many more inconveniences I don't recommend kids here. This is an older hotel that needs some updating, but if you're not picky it's a good choice. The location is great, it is close enough to walk to everything. I stayed only one night, so I only needed a clean bed and a clean towel. This worked out perfect for me.

This hotel is excellently located on Baltimore Ave and 5th. It's an older hotel that could use a good thorough cleaning and repair. Admittedly it's hard to keep a hotel clean that people are constantly tracking sand into, but this place has dirt in corners that haven't been scrubbed in a long time. Great location however the clanliness and upkeep were in need of help. Went to Walmart and bought cleaning supplies to clean the room before I would stay. Not to bad once it was clean. The walls could use a coat of paint and the beds need new mattresses. The location of the hotel was great. We had paid for "ocean view," and had a slight water view over a H00ters. The balcony had never been cleaned and had cigarette butts throughout. The hotel staff seemed inconvenienced by guests. We will never recommend or stay there again.

All in all it was great Rooms needed deep cleaning behind beds couch and bathrooms I called about my airconditioner Twice and they promply came but My room never reslly cooled off. All staff were friendly and helpful We had a great time I WILL RETURN NEXT YEAR !!

I booked on line expecting a 2 bed queen room and ended up with a 2 bedroom king suite, WONDERFUL!!!! Worked out great, as had my own TV in other bedroom, so I didn't have to watch football all day & night with hubby. I will book next year for O C Bikefest this type of room. The only thing was some mole in top center of shower curtain. We always bring […] our own extra pillows & blankets, so there fore just pull down the bed spread & sleep in our blankets, than put out of way in the AM. 3 out of 4 mornings, they didn't even remake bed, which would of required to just pull up spread & tuck pillows, but not a big deal. Found 2 clump of hair that wasn't mine on bathroom floor 1 day. The whole rooms were completely tiled. Over all very pleased. All rooms in our bldg. were the king suites on Atlantic Ave. No king suites in the other bldg. facing boardwalk or partial ocean view, but I will book the "king suites" again.
