"Poor Customer Service-excellent location"
Booked a non-smoking twin bed room 2 months prior ( and paid in advance) Reception did try and put us in a twin bed smoking room , when we refused at first they said all twin beds were fully booked so if we wouldn't have the smoking room we would have to have a double. Again we declined. Told we'd have to have the smoking. No apology at all but then, […] after another member of staff became involved , they did put us in an apparently larger room where the maid had to come to separate the beds. Still no apology but it was spotless. Definitely not 4 star customer service but the facilities and location were excellent- I would stay in the area again but at another hotel. Breakfast had a good range of foods but a distinct lack of cutlery and crockery - ran from 7am to 11am on the Sat (we were only there 1 night) which was good but they were only half way through service when we ate -perhaps an oversight? "perfect location -a stones throw from Tower Bridge"
quality location, great hotel, very friendly staff, lovely sized room...faultless. Excellent choice on doorstep for restaurants, coffee shops, tube access, etc. Personal breakfast favourite 50 yards away was Absolutely Starving....don't miss it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel, good location"
Nice hotel in good location. Good standard rooms very clean, an idea base for southbank and rest of London. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and good quality. Shame about extortionate bar prices although probably to be expected in London.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great location, great value for money"
The hotel for us was perfectly located; about 2min walk to London Bridge where we could hop on tubes/trains to various destinations. The hotel itself is really clean, modern and plush. The rate we paid was fantastic value for money considering what we got. Only downside was the staff in reception were not the most attentive and had to queue more than […] once for check in/out and bag drop. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Comfy but noisy"
The hotel was everything that you would expect from a hotel of this class but it is on a bus route and therefore the noise from the passing traffic can be very loud if you have your windows open.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Hotel in Excellent Location"
Super friendly and helpful staff, amazing location, great example of Hilton.Genuine Expedia guest review
Second time we've stayed here when visiting London for a long weekend and we would stay again. The location is excellent, 5 minute walk from London Bridge tube, very close to the Shard, London Bridge, Tower Bridge, London Dungeon, HMS Belfast etc. If you like a night out with plenty of pubs within easy walking distance then its great for that as well, […] and for an added bonus there is a great pub right across the road as well (The Shipwrights Arms). That all being said the room was quiet (we were on the 6th floor). Our one complaint was that on the Sunday night we came back from our night out at 11.10pm wanting a drink in the bar only to be told it was shut due to lack of demand. There were several bar staff that could have served us and a second couple arrived just after us who were told the same thing. This despite the hotel details stating the bar is open until 1am (and saying nothing about being dependent on current demand). Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great For Sight Seeing - Shard, London Eye, Thames"
Everyone knows that the Hilton chain is great. This hotel is smart, it has a sushi bar inside! They have a great bar area and free internet enabled computers. The best thing about this hotel is the location - its a stone's throw from the Shard and London Dungeon. The London Bridge is on the same street (yuo pass it to reach the nearest NCP car park […] and it's very close to the London Bridge Tube. Exit Tooley Street from the tube and its again, on the same street. I stayed here to visit the London Eye which is reached from the Thames. It took 20 minutes so the whole of London is at your finger tips when you stay at this very smart hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Perfect for seeing london"
The location of the hotel was fantastic. We stayed here for a tourist style visit to London. Only a 2min walk from London bridge station a fantastic hub for seing tourist London. The hotel was nice a good size room and only have to walk around the back for great views if tower bridge, the crash helmet and the tower of London. The view from the room […] was if the shard and London bridge station. We were in the 8th floor in a double deluxe room there was no noise and did not feel overlooked at all. Breakfast in bed was good although a little pricey. Room came with two bottles of complimentary water and a bottle of red. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Hotel, Loved the location"
We booked a weekend in London for business and pleasure, and chose the Hilton because it was close to the Anise Gallery in Shad Thames, where my husband was to give a talk on the Saturday. When we arrived, we liked the very modern look and the Japanese theme in the hotel. The spacious reception, lounge, cocktail bar and sushi bar in the ground floor, […] were very appealing and busy, giving the place a good atmosphere. The staff were really welcoming and helpful. We paid for a £20 upgrade at the desk to give us a larger room and breakfast. Our room was indeed large and very comfortable - I particularly liked the little bedside spotlights allowing reading without disturbing each other! One safety change that we would make though, is to the bath/shower. The bath was very narrow indeed, and so the awfully small in-bath shower was quite hazardous, as there wasn't much safety grip on the narrow floor of the bath and the safety grip did not extend past the glass screen, to the part of the bath where you get in and out. We both slipped on this. There's plenty of space in the bathroom for a wider bath to be installed/or a separate shower, and this would make the room perfect (and safer). Apart from that everything was lovely including the breakfasts, the location was superb on the south side of the Thames, where you can stroll for hours and go to any number of attractions, from the Tower of London to the Tate Modern and the Globe Theatre. Nice friendly hotel with helpful staff, would defiantly stay there again as nice location to be in as near the tower bridge but close enough to jump on the tube to where ever we wanted. Overall an amazing weekend!Genuine Expedia guest review
Great location London bridge tube station 2 min walk away. Room very clean and great that they give you bottled water everyday. Reception staff very helpful. The only downside would be breakfast service. On the 2 mornings nobody asked us for tea or coffee and there is nowhere you can get it yourself. We ended up eating our breakfast constantly trying […] to call somebody over. Also the 2nd morning we were seated on a table only to sit down and find someone else had been seated there 2 mins ago and they were getting their breakfast. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"BEWARE - Make sure you get what you paid for!"
I booked an executive room for my partners Birthday after reading great reviews about the view from the executive lounge on the 9th floor. I followed the hotel on Twitter and was happy to see that they would be unveiling the new executive lounge the day before my planned stay (16th February). On arrival I was told that the lounge had not re-opened and […] there was a make-shift lounge on the second floor. Upon checking into my room I realised this was not the 'Executive' room I paid for but a standard room! Upon going to reception I was then moved up to an Executive room, why I was not put in one in the first place when I paid for it and they had availability is still yet to be explained to me and there was no apology. The difference between the two rooms was minimal (a standalone shower). The makeshift lounge on the 2nd floor was an absolute shambles, there were not enough seats, hardly any food or drink - overall a complete waste of money booking an executive room. The rooms are average, certainly not worth the prices being charged. Someone from the hotel was supposed to contact me regarding my stay...I'm still awaiting to be contacted! "Great hotel. Just needs a little work."

"executive room but lounge being refit"
Stay was for 2 nights over the weekend. Having stayed here before we decided to upgrade to executive room to see how good the difference was. The room is good, but comparing the one we had with the standard room I am not sure how different it is. Free water is good but have had free wine in room before, and the mini bar still is paid and expensive. The […] lounge and roof terrace was having a refit, which we were only told about on arrival. They had made a makeshift lounge on floor 2 but was very cramped and service wasn't that good. If that's what the main lounge is like then its not worth the upgrade. The roof terrace was shut for the rrefit which was annoying as I can imagine that is good. The WiFi was also shocking all weekend, they blamed this on the refit. We had multiple codes in multiple formats to connect to multiple ssid's. Check out was fast and efficient, the lady just wanted the card and us out, didn't ask how the stay was. Overall I still live the hotel for its location and general rooms, but the executive upgrade didn't live up to expectations. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location in centre of the city"
Hotel was beautifully decorated and clean. The staff on front desk very friendly and I could check in early. They even welcomed me with some chocolates in my room as it was my birthday, which was a lovely surprise. Location wise it's great - minutes from London Bridge. My only criticism is that the service at breakfast was poor. They could not keep […] up with demand on a busy Sunday morning (although busy breakfast was not full) and so I ate 15 minutes after my friends (and they had finished when i started) and was expected to wait at the counter (it was at least 10 minutes) . Not a great start to my birthday. I was only offered one coffee. I asked them to bring me my plate over once the bacon and sausage arrived from the kitchen but they politely avoided doing so twice; suggesting I would be better refilling my plate with fresh food. Not a standard I would associate with a) the Hilton and b) a four star hotel in London. When i mentioned it on check out, I was offered a free upgrade the next time I visited ; but this in reality is worthless as I am not likely to stay again as it was a birthday treat and i elected for a superior room anyway as the rates were pretty similar. May be it was a one off ; maybe not. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Lovely hotel in ideal location"
Fantastic hotel, in superb location on south side of Thames, only few mins walk from London Bridge Stations. Many attractions in close distance, ie The Shard, London Dungeons, Tower Bridge & Tower of London. Our room had an amazing view of The Shard. Room absolutely perfect - only quibble was no power points next to bedside - so could not plug mobile […] phones there at night. Have found this with a lot of 4* hotels recently & cannot understand why this is the case. Apart from that, actual room excellent. However, two other complaints/annoyances - 1) there was a constant noise from some device mounted on the wall in the corridor just close to our room (think it may have been some kind of dehumidifier, not sure), but it could be heard very clearly all night long and kept my poor daughter awake. Sounded like someone hoovering all night!! There were more of these devices situated in other corridors. 2) Got charged for something from the mini bar, when we hadn't even touched anything. Luckilly hotel waived it, but beware! Breakfast superb. All in all, a lovely hotel in a ideal location though. Would stay there again if they removed those 'things' from the corridor walls!!! Lovely location ...very trendy and opposite m and s food shop for a quick pre dinner snack of olives and wine whilst people watching from the room.
