We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway. The view of beautiful Madeira Beach from our balcony was fantastic, and Johns Pass is conveniently located just about two blocks away. Our suite/room was very comfortable and clean and included a living room and small kitchenette. The room even had wine glasses so we could enjoy our bottle of wine on the balcony! We would highly recommended this hotel.

Hotel was lovely and everything we needed was provided including a great Gulf view. What made our stay really outstanding was the office staff. They were not only friendly but so helpful. Hotel is an easy walk to all the shops.

Great hotel. Room great. We had a sea view saw dolphins in sea one morning. Hotel very clean and comfortable.The staff were really friendly and could not do enough for you. Can not wait to go back.

Our Gulf room view was beautiful and the beach peaceful. Staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. In that respect, the Barefoot Beach Hotel felt more like a B&B. Pool was heated and clean. The studio apartment style room was nicely updated with granite counters and stainless-steel appliances. Well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return to the Barefoot hotel.

Loved the mini apartment feel. Very modern and clean, had everything I needed. Beach front view was terrific. Very friendly staff. Definitely will stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It has a gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico if you get a room with a view. Housekeeping does not come in your room. You leave a basket with dirty towels outside your room, and they are replenished. That was fine for us. We prefer privacy. It was very peaceful and beautiful and one block from St. John's Pass. The sunsets were glorious. We saw dolphins, as well. If you like quiet and privacy, this is for you.

The hotel staff was very cordial and helpful. The rooms were very nice and updated. The beach was beautiful and the place was right for the money. The only thing I would consider is not having more than two people stay in the one bedroom studios because there is not a separate bedroom, it is just a half wall.

The staff was very helpful and acommodating with us, and the rooms were very nice and clean. It was right on the white sandy beaches and down the street from tons of shops and restaurants (walking distance to John's Pass). The only possible negative I could think of was that the rooms were small, but what else could you get for such a great price on the beach. If you have kids or more than two people, I would definitely go for the 2 bedroom.

Everything was very nice. The hotel is located on the beach, within walking distance to Johns Pass and was roomy, clean and upgraded. The bed was small, but well worth the money!

Recently updated rooms with all of the conveniences of home complete with flat screen TV! Great view from balcony! Ability to walk to John's Pass for shopping and restaurants. I have stayed here before and will be back!!!!

Me and my boyfriend went for our two year anniversary trip. It was the perfect size room for us as a couple, however not a family. I loved the location of the beach about 50 steps from the elevator to the beach! Parking was nice because it was all covered and nice to get into a car that had been shaded all day. Local restaurants were awesome, some of the best i've been to. Check out Dave's Dockside, the most amazing food (Grouper sandwich and chicken sandwich recommended). Staff was nice and didn't interupt, but if we needed anything they were their to help. Overall, really great vacation.

We loved the stay at Barefoot! Very convenient to beach, shops, food and activities. A special "shout out" to the staff both office and hotel staff - they were perfect. We will be back!

We got what we went for, which was an oceanfront room with excellent views. We even had dolphins swimming by at each sunset. While the room was clean and cozy, the pool area could use some updating. Also, the rinse station coming up from the beach was nonoperational, so we got a lot of sand in our room. Overall though, our stay was great. We did find when we arrived that hotel.com overbooked and that we only had a room due to a cancelation. If you reserve online, make sure to call the hotel to ensure that you really do have a room.

Room was very nice but with only weekly maid service. However they will replace towels as needed. Great location and beach. Good value for the money.

Great for romantic get-a-ways. Located on a terrific white-sand beach, that was quite the weekend we were there Feb 29 - March 3. The room had a great flat panel TV, but it was only visible from the couch (only drawback). Room was big for two, and could work for a family of 4 or 5 with the fold out couch. We loved the refrigerator, microwave, dishes and sink. It made it possible to have breakfast and lunch in the rooms. They didn't clean the room each day, but sheets, towels, soap and any other amenities would be replaces if they were needed. It is felt like a condo mixed with a hotel really. We liked this feel.

small "suite" but not a separate room and there was no maid service (towel and other items were replenished daily). The room was cozy, had a nice flat screen TV, comfortable bed, adequate storage space, and the in room coffee maker was much appreciated!

Pleasantly surprised at the condition of the hotel and the rooms. Spacious and laid out well. All the necessities were there. The beach and view were great. I would definetly recommend this hotel for a couple or a couple and one child.

Staff went above and beyond to assist me with a late check-in. Very friendly and helpful management. They also voluntarily moved me to a Gulf View room. Room was updated and comfortable.
