"Wonderful place to stay for a layover at PuDong"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very nice place to stay. The rooms are downright luxurious, and the whole place was nearly spotlessly clean. The gym isn't much to write home about, and the food in the restaurant wasn't great. That's a bummer, since the area around the hotel doesn't seem to have much to offer. The staff spoke very little English, but we managed to get by just fine. I would definitely stay there again.
"Adequate for a short stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Recently stayed here for 2 nights...staff is not particularly friendly, but they were efficient. Rooms were fairly large for an inexpensive Shanghai hotel. Rooms were clean and spartan. Walking distance to the "Bund". I would stay here again.

"Good location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
The Swissotel is a good hotel with an excellent location in the jing an area. However the rooms are small and the wireless Internet service is very very slow and unreliable.
