Good value - excellent location for visits to the Wallingford area. Only complaints were that construction was going on and two members of our party were awakened at 8:30 on Sunday morning by banging directly over their heads. Also, when we checked in, although it was clearly marked as a non-smoking room, the room they gave us smelled very strongly of stale cigarette smoke. We asked to be moved, and they accomodated us, but then they tried to give that same room to another member of our party who checked in a few hours later. Luckily, I had already warned them so they refused to be put in that room. Unfortunate, but the staff rectified the problem.

My daughter and I visited in the area for three days and stay at the Inn for two nights. Our experience was simply lovely. The room was comfortable, the staff delightful, and the dining room simply beautiful. We would gladly stay here again in the future.
