"Great location, cramped but adequate, great staff"
I found this hotel at the last minute and got a very good deal. The rooms are small but have all the necessaries, and I was pleased overall. Free coffee and wireless internet. The staff worked for over an hour to get me a decent deal on a car service to Brooklyn, including standing in the street in the cold and flagging down car after car. Amazing.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Expensive, small and dimly lit"
This hotel was clean, but as is typical for this location, it is VERY small. I am 6' tall, and my feet hung off of the end of the bed. The window heating unit was positioned right in my face. There was one recessed light in the room. That, combined with the white walls gave the room a bit of an institutionalized feel. On the plus side, the room was […] clean, and the staff were kind. The gym, which is located around the corner, is supposed to be a $10 fee that you pay to the front desk at the hotel. However, upon going to the gym, it's clear that you don't have to pay the fee, and you simply need to sign in as a hotel guest. It could be that the front desk people at the gym were particularly lax that day. It is a decent gym. Hotel is in a convenient location. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Location was perfect. Easy walk to many visitor locations. The bed was very comfortable too!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean, Very Small Room"
This was the smallest hotel room I have ever rented. It was clean, I'll give it that, but wasn't worth the cost being that it was essentially a large walk in closet. The bed was comfortable though. They also had nice bath products. i probably wouldn't stay again. I think for the cost, I could have done better, although there is nothing inherently wrong […] with the room but its size. "Excellent location and value"
The hotel has an excellent location right on the corner of 5th avenue and 35th street, with a Starbucks right next door. The room was a bit small, but I was staying by myself, so I did not mind. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were nice and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Better than expected for the price and location."
Great location, and very friendly staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Much more than I expected."
The room was larger than I imagined and quite comfy for two people. Everything was clean, even the bathroom, which was exactly as advertised, right down to the tile shower, which was also spacious enough for two. Nice lighting, a comfy bed, small but functional desk and work area, modern flat screen tv. The promotional descriptions and pics are quite […] accurate. The staff were all pleasant, helpful, and seemed to enjoy and care about their work. The hotel itself was quiet, but even on the 7th floor there was no escaping the inescapable midtown street noise. Construction down the block began at 6 AM, but that's life in the big city. Speaking of which, consult a map to locate subway entrances. The N, Q, and R are one avenue and one street away, the 6 is five blocks, Grand Central is nine. Overall, I recommend Hotel 373 to anyone with reasonable expectations of cleanliness, comfort, and service. Chances are, you'll be as satisfied with your stay as I was with mine. Decent hotel for overnight business. Rooms are very small with no closet. Very basic but if it's in and out, it's a bargain priced optionGenuine Expedia guest review
"Clean and great local"
Great location for shopping and eating. Clean, but really small room, but who stays in the room anyway. Great for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"OK for price"
small for even NYC standards. Room a/c unit esp large. No exercise facility- but daily arrangement w NYC sports clubGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice cozy hotel in the middle of Manhattan"
The hotel was a great place and price. I stayed on a Saturday night and payed about as much as i would had for a chain motel. The rooms are a little small but you have everything you need. The room was very clean, neat, and modern. The staff was very nice, courteous, and helpful. To make things even better there's a Starbucks downstairs near the lobby. […] Paid $33 dollars for valet parking in garage across the street from hotel, but if you know anything about NYC that's not bad at all, unless you want to park on a side street and risk it. The staff at parking garage were also very nice and helpful. I really liked this hotel and will definitely stay again. Highly recommend this hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
4 stars was going to be given but the dirty underwear found in the bottom drawer. This shows a lack of care of the customer, effort from the the employees, and just a disgusting matter.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ok cheaper option"
Pretty budget. Cold small room.. Probably not the worst and it was at least cheap. It is however very well located.Genuine Expedia guest review
clean, small, center of the city, near shopping and empire state building, perfect spot to view the veterans day parade, small lobby, small elevator, small hallways, small rooms, decent size bathrooms, free wifi, friendly staff, several close parking garagesGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Always a solid choice"
While Hotel 373 might not be for families (or even multiple people in a room), this is an excellent choice for the business traveler on a budget. It is walking distance to midtown (if you don't mind a little walk), and has many choices for food and entertainment after a day of work. The hotel is clean and functional, and a comfortable bed - don't think […] that it is an ultra-modern hip hotel - but it is a solid choice where I plan to stay again. "Great downtown location"
Small but adequate. The front desk staff was professional and helpful. Just a sliding door away from the adjacent StarbucksGenuine Hotels.com guest review
My daughter and I came to NYC to celebrate her 14th birthday. The location was perfect for all that we wanted to do. There was easy access to the metro and to all midtown activities. We could see the Empire State Building from our room. It was a good value and I would stay there again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"very good location"
we where surprised by the tiny room size but after all we prefer location and price, and facilities like a cafe and a bistro instead of a big lobby. This location is a most.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Tiny but great location"
Tiny little hotel but I could see the Empire State bldg out my window. Super close to Penn Station and there's a Starbucks RIGHT next door. Who wants to hang out in the room anyway? Right?! Perfect for one, but too squished for moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to all must-see sights"
The hotel was cute and very close to all major must see sights. It was on 35th street and fifth avenue. We walked to Times Square. It was 5 minutes away from the Empire State Building. Very close and the stay was amazing. I would recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good place near Koreatown"
Room was small and clean. Affordable. Would recommendGenuine Hotels.com guest review
In the shadow of the Empire State Building (my room had a view of it), this is a solid no-frills hotel choice. Other than some over-spray with the room scent, everything was clean and in order. No closets in my room (be warned), not much of a lobby, other than the Starbucks (which is ingeniously attached by a sliding glass door).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
clean, modern, fantastic location!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"In middle of everything"

"Good value for a hotel in Manhattan !"

"Perfect for Business Needs"
This hotel is perfect for business. Cost versus quality is pretty much a match. I was happy I could pop down to Starbucks to grab my morning oatmeal and yoghurt parfait, or order a range of food from the nextdoor shop.Perfectly located and functional rooms. I probably would not stay longer than 2-3 nights on business though. Rooms are small and can […] become claustrophobic and with no closet to hang a suit, it becomes a struggle but it has a purpose. :) 6/10 from me and I'm pretty conservative. "Nice Hotel on 5th Ave."
Nice hotel on 5th Ave. Good location, small but efficient rooms. Helpful staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very good overnight stay! Small but well-laid out room with extremely comfy bed, nice touches here and there. Only drawback was thin walls between neighbours, and hearing people's conversations as they walked past down the hall.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great little spot!"
Tiny rooms but the comfort and cleanliness makes up for it!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Tiny and surrounded by pubs"
I travel frequently to NYC and lived in the city for five years. This hotel was so strange -- I've never stayed anywhere quite like it. A room too small for even normal sized furniture. A giant window AC unti literally hung INTO the room, overhanging the foot of the bed. NO LOBBY - only a desk on the way to the elevator bank -- and a surprisingly bland […] neighborhood (despite the Empire State Building), with only 6 cookie cutter "Irish" pubs to choose from for a meal at 8pm. I found it profoundly depressing. The room and bathroom (no tub) were clean. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Courteous staff; nice location near Empire State Building; great walk south on 5th; room very small; air conditioning unit in windowGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small but clean and comfortable"

"Great location, very clean, very small!"
Looking for a centrally located mid-town hotel. Clean and comfortable and good price. And that's just what I got. Rooms were very small but at check in they upgraded me to a slight bigger but still very small room. Noisy window AC right by the bed (room is very small so everything is right by the bed!). But all in all I would recommend this hotel to […] someone looking for location and cleanliness at a lower price vs bigger and fancier at a higher price. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great for Business"
Stayed there for 2 nights. Queen bed was very comfortable and bedding very clean. Room amazingly small: Barely space to walk around. I was in NYC for business so it was fine for spending the day outside and only return to the room for sleep. Complementary Starbucks coffee and water bottle were provided in the room: Wonderful idea. Shower and the bathroom […] were very clean and no issue. The front desk people were also very nice. Price was a bit hefty for the size but alright b/c my stay was during the UNGA with lots of people in the City. I'd return there but not with wife or family (too small). "Overnight on Business"
Nice hotel for overnight stay. Friendly staff and clean, they checked on the room after I arrived to be sure I was pleased. In a good location close to Midtown/Grand Central. Starbuck's is attached in the building which is convenient. Drawbacks, rooms are small and no restaurant on site.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good location. Average rooms"
The size of the room was expected due to the central location in NYC. Everything was clean and there were all the amenities as expected of a hotel. However, there was a strange smell coming from the air conditioning which made the stay less pleasant.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel with Empire State view."
We had a great time, celebrating our 25th wedding aniversary.Genuine Expedia guest review
"not worth the price"
This was the most I've paid out of my pocket for a hotel room, yet the smallest room ever! Granted it was Manhattan and probably during Fashion Week, still I felt regrettable paying $422 (after tax) for half of a dorm room. Online pictures didn't show how small the place was. There was no lobby either. Location was fine; staff was cold.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overnight in NY - close to event"
Hallways are extremely small. Room was small but sufficient and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious by Manhattan standards. Parking discount and Starbucks in Lobby were added benefitGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel location on 5th Avenue"
Hotel location is conveniently in downtown. However room is really small, not sure if every room was same as mine, but I could barely find a place to open my luggage conveniently. For the rest room was clean and bathroom too. If you are staying for a couple of nights, might be good.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Good Location, Cheap, but Room wasn't great."
The location was within walking to almost everything! If it wasn't, the subway stations were a block away. And the bonus was that it was the cheapest hotel around by far. The room is really small, but we didn't care, we only need a place to sleep. However, we were given the handicap room, so it has a walk-in shower with a very low rim, not a tub shower. […] Everytime we showered, the water would spill onto the entire bathroom floor. We informed the front desk the first night we were there, and they said they would look into our isituation and help us out, but they never did. So everytime we showered, we had to use our extra large towels to soak up the excess water, and even that still wasn't enough. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
