"Close to Work"
This hotel was perfect for my needs - although small, it was clean and safe. Needed a place to stay for one night that was affordable and close to work - glad I made the decision to book here. Would certainly recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfort at a great price"
Very good ... will use this hotel again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A good find"
I'll definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Decent hotel right next to empire state building.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good location, very small rooms. No real amenities.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Small, dirty and too much expensive what you are getting. I would not returnGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Staff very friendly"
I cant say anything bad about the staff as they are all kind and helpful, thank you. Stayed 2 nights, 2 different rooms but both dramatically different. The 2nd felt much smaller and dingy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient, Clean and Small"
The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. No problems at all, except I wish they had told me the doorknob has to be turned UP when the key is inserted, not down. But if that's the biggest issue, then it was a good stay. Wouldn't want to have an extended stay in this small room - but for a night or two, this is a great place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great ovation, clean, friendly"
The only thing I would have wanted was a bath tub, there is only a shower. But room was very nice, bed super comfortable, nice linens. Also no mini fridge with snacks.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Simple and Affordable"
I stayed one night so I can't say everything that they had available, but it was clean and in good location. Price was better than most in the area also, and room had whatever I needed. Good hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was more than what I expectedGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Enjoyed the hotel very much. Room was comfortable and clean. I was on the Third floor and street noise was minimal. Bed was great, space and the room was adequate. I have stayed in smaller places for bigger prices. The Shower was great and bathroom clean. Best of all, the staff was wonderful. I will book there again if available. Starbucks that is adjacent […] had plenty of room and tables at breakfast. This place is a sleeper and I hope it stays that way. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Service is lacking too say the least"
First time at Hotel 373 as we usually stay near upper westside but wanted to be near Bryant Park this visit. Room was clean but very small which I expected. The problem is the service from the staff. First night we called down for extra towels and asked where the ice machine was located. We were told they would bring ice to the room with the towels. […] 40 minutes later we get a call from the front desk saying the ice machine was being worked on and no ice was available. They suggested going down the street and buying some. Also never brought the extra towels. The next morning called back down for the towels and ice and was told the ice machine was still not working. An hour later was still waiting for the towels when I found housekeeping and got them from her. 3rd night we were walking in at around 11pm and again asked if they had ice and the women working the front desk told me it wasn't but they could get all of the ice we needed from the Starbucks that was attached to the hotel and she would send some up. 3 days of asking for ice and I am told they could have got it at anytime for me but never offered. After an hour of waiting went to bed. Worst thing is 2 1/2 hours later there is a knock on the door waking me from a sound sleep with the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door with a bag containing about a cup of ice. I would rather pay more or in some of the other hotels we have stayed in, less and have better service than what we got at Hotel 373. Needless to say we won't return. "Tiny room, no privacy, may induce claustrophobia"
I was very surprised to see how small this hotel was. It was so small there was practically no lobby. The entrance is just a door to a narrow hallway with a small front desk. It was odd that the entire right wall of the hallway was all glass with a sliding door entrance to the Starbucks next door. Around the front desk is an even more narrow hall that […] leads to the elevator to the rooms. The room floors also had narrow hallways. My room just happened to be right in front of the elevator...no privacy. The pictures on the hotel's website can be misleading as it did not look at all like the photos they show in their gallery. The room itself was extremely small! It was only big enough to fit a queen-sized bed with barely any room to walk around it. Part of that reason was due to the bulky A/C unit attached to the tiny window practically hanging over the bed. The bathroom was clean, but also very small. I couldn't tell how clean the rest of the room was because it was so dark and the window was so small not enough daylight could penetrate the room. Overall, I was very uncomfortable with this hotel and room. I'm glad I only stayed one night. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The room and bathroom were quite small but clean and very comfortable bed and that's all we need, plus the hotel is in a good central location. I'll stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very very small hotel"
Very small hotel!unbelievable small!but good location!Genuine Expedia guest review
Good price for a hotel on 5th ave, they upgrade us to a king size bed, just a litlle window, no fridge, but really clean, housekeeping ladies were great, john at the front desk was really helpful, another polish FD agent was really cool too. Overall a great stay for the money, great location, right in front of empire state building, it was the only […] thing i could ser from that litlle window, would recommend it definetely!!! "Comfortable hotel close convenient to shopping."
My overall experience was fine. The room was comfortable but very small. I was there for business so it was fine for me. A Starbucks is located in the hotel which is always an added bonus. It also has free wifi. Another added bonus. Overall- a good hotel for a quick trip and the rate was great at this time of year.Genuine Expedia guest review
"convienent and clean"
easy and efficient location that was comfortable. I would definitely stay againGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel on a budget --- too small for 2 people"
Nice, convenient hotel-on-a-budget, but the queen rooms are too small for double occupancy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, priced right"
Relative bargain for the area. Walking distance to the airport shuttles and Times Square. Staff was very helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel in the middle of everything."
Booked this hotel cause it was on fifth Ave and was in between a couple places were we wanted to go. Very small rooms but it was all we needed. As long as it was clean and had a comfortable bed it was very convenient to have this hotel to go shopping and to go to Madison square . Staff was amazing and even remembered our names from check in and greeted […] us by name every time we walked back in. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"all around great hotel!"
we were the last to arrive but immediately got upgraded from a queen to a king which we thought was nice! the rooms aren't huge, but that really didn't matter to us. the bed is super comfortable, when we needed ice they brought it right to our room, and even though we were on the second floor it was very quiet. they also have kuerigs with starbucks […] in the room. the surrounding area is nice, not far from penn station and there are a bunch of attractions nearby. just a heads up there is no fridge in the room, not a big deal to us though. would stay again! "Small But Nice; Great Location"
Clean, comfortable and convenient. Staff are polite, savvy NY'ers. But if you prefer spacious and grand, this is not your hotel. Ours was a standard room with Q-size bed and a tiny bathroom with walk-in shower. Tight layouts but very functional, clean and nicely designed with updated furnishings, flat-mount TV, Wi-Fi, coffeemaker, marble-tile bathroom... […] Overall a great deal for Midtown. The hotel-affilliated parking lot is just a half block away and reasonably-priced for overnight with ticket validated by the hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Glad I had the hotel.com discount"
The rooms seemed nice but it should be noted that hall and street noises were pretty loud. Also the "restaurant" is a StarBucks (which I think of more as a snack bar). If all you need is a clean bed to crash on and a shower(no tub) this fits the bill.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small things often the most impressive"
The room was small but well maintained. The neighborhood is so conveniently located to many things and places you don't have the time to waste sitting in the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"overnight stay before destination"
it was exactly what i wanted,a confortable place where to spent one night, close to everything, plus people working there were very very nice and helpful, you don t find people that nice everywhere you go.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small but it works."
I got stuck in the city due to some train issues. Stayed here and it was nice. I had a single room with a full bed. The rooms are very small like just barely bigger than the bed, but I went out and are and had a few drinks. There are a few pubs right on the same street. It was fine to sleep in and it was clean. The bathroom could use some updating, […] but was acceptable. For the price it was definitely worth it, just don't stay here if you plan on spending a lot of time in your room because again it's very small. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

It is simple basic hotel bit old small room but clean bath room don't like carpets on the room floor. Much eating options around hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"I should have realized"
Fifth Avenue is noisy and so it was impossible to sleep with the sirens and honking. Also the plumbing was nosiy and constantly making noise.Genuine Expedia guest review

"It did the job!"
Good hotel for my quick business trip. Decent quality for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Crowded cheesy hotel. Should be advertised as a Hostel.Genuine Expedia guest review
Was hard to find at first as its entrance is only marked by a Matt on the sidewalk. Rooms & bed were small (too short for anyone around 6ft) but clean, updated and comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Would absolutely stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Easy to get to easy to park"

"Perfect place at a good rate."
Like others said, the rooms are small, but this hotel was perfect for our needs. We just wanted someplace clean, in a decent neighborhood, to sleep after a night on the town. Empire State Building is right across the street. Staff was courteous and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for short visits"
Great boutique hotel for the price. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean, modern room. Expect no frills, no common hotel space (lobby, etc.). Rooms are small - bed takes up lots of room, so don't bring lots of luggage. Great midtown location, particularly for a weekend of theatre/dining - a short pleasant walk to theatre district. I will stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"excellent place for midtown"

"Pod 51. Enough said."
The place was great. It all seemed very new and artsy. Vibrant on all of it's surroundings. I would not mind going back at all. Highly recommended.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"CHEAP AND GREAT LOCATION"

"Everything you need in Midtown"
This was my second stay at this property and once again I was amazed by the incredibly friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. Located in the heart of midtown and right next door to CUNY's graduate center, where I had a meeting. Terrific place with all the essentials.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You can't beat the location!"
For the price of my room and it's smack in the middle of mid-town, you get to save on subway/cab fares. You can basically walk the equidistant between Columbus Circle (Uptown) and Union Square (Downtown) in approximately the same amount of time. If you're visiting as a tourist, you could walk up and down on different avenues next to 5th Ave. and you've […] basically have hit most attractions while on the way! Not to mention that Empire State Building is down the block and shoppers - Macy's is down an avenue. For those who are here for work, even better, it's 10-mins away from Times Square, same as business district of Bryant Park. There's a Starbucks conveniently right on the street level. A library is behind the building, in case you need a place to work, faster Wi-Fi speeds, reference materials. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel, great location!"
I went for valentines day night. It was nice, the rooms were small but that's pretty typical of NY. It was overwhelmingly amazing or overwhelmingly terrible. Very normal middle of the road hotel. Great location!Genuine Expedia guest review
