"Hotel Barcelo de Gata, El Toyo, Almeria, Spain"
This hotel is a very good property for those looking to spend time in the Cabo de Gata area or are looking for an overnight property fairly close to the Almeria Airport. The Cabo de Gata lighthouse, Nijar, and San Jose are all fairly close, if you have a rental car. Distances further afield to Aguas Amargs / Playa de los Muertos and the nudist beach […] at Vera Playa are not that far away. El Toyo has some restaurants on the marine parade (malecon) so you are not limited to hotel offerings. Read more
"Beach resort in the middle of no where"
The Barcelo is a family oriented beach resort in a area of development with other similar properties. It is lovely but once you are there you are there. The beach is pebble and rocky. Great place to sit and do nothing at all.
"Unless your really into the all-inclusive style..."
I stayed 2 nights at this hotel. It is far from any amnities,the water in the shower was connected the other way around not as indicated. And the hotel wasn't full, but they put me in between 2 families with young kids. Not the relaxing time I was looking for ! You'll be better of in San José !

"Buen sitio para desconectar."
En lineas generales, muy bien. Por poner algún punto negativo, deberían cambiar las plaquetas del suelo alrededor de las piscinas, ya que al mojarse, son bastante peligrosas, o poner algún camino de cesped artificial.
