I stayed here for business, and the location is a short walk to the office park. Chiswick is a cute town, and the hotel is conveniently located in walking distance to restaurants and shops as well as an Underground station. The hotel has a nice bar, and I ordered room service one night and the food was good. My hotel room was very large, however there […] is shag carpeting on the floor which always made the room feel dirty. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The shower seemed dirty and hardly had any water pressure, and the temperature controls didn't work. Overall, I don't think this hotel is worth the price that it is charging. Read more

Room was comfortable, including a good mattress. The carpet in the room had been cleaned a lot so it was a bit faded and worn. The TV was a bit small, but good channels. This is a business hotel. It's not near anything except for BSI. That's fine because I was attending meetings at BSI however the Internet at the hotel did not work for 4 of the five days of my saty. I'm way behind on my work, This is totally unacceptable for a business hotel. Would not stay there again.

The location is a 30-40 minute tube ride away from the major sites. Totally worth it, considering the price and relative ease with which to get into downtown London.

The hotel was in a very convenient location to the tube for getting around London. The room was a great size and very modern. It was quiet and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar food was very good. We can't say anything bad about this hotel or our experience. We would definitely stay there again.

I agree with some of the other reviewers that the service was a bit spotty, but while I would call it brusque it was never a problem. Some employees a little blunt, others wonderfully helpful. While this hotel is not centrally located, it is a great place to stay, great value, near Tube and Bus lines --I say far better than the hideous Airport chain […] hotels, and far better than the overpriced dirty hotels most travelers book into in central London. One warning: the "free wireless" is only free on the first floor, which annoyed me but it wasn't a big deal. Reasonable rates in the room. The decor is a bit bizarre (it looks like they were going for neo-70s but got way too close to the real thing...it almost looks like they just didn't update the rooms for 35 years) but the bed was great, the view enjoyable, and I was overall quite pleased. One final lament: the warm breakfast buffet absolutely sucked. But despite living in Ireland and the UK, I never could get excited about English/Irish breakfasts. Very nice hotel room. Close to underground station and about 35 minutes away from downton London. Unexpected excelent food in the restaurant. Only problem was taken undeground back to airport which lasted almost 50 minutes with the connection. Advice other guest to take taxi back to airport. OK, so this hotel isn't that close to central london. However, if you are comfortable with london transport, or need to be in West London, this could be a great choice. The hotel, room, restaurant and bar are all very new + nice. However, there were a few downsides to the place. Firstly, the (typically small) TV kept switching to white noise every […] 5 minutes or so. It would only last for 30 seconds, but it was enough to be annoying. We were there for just one night, so didnt call maintenance. Then we were woken at 8AM by housekeeping, even though we were checking out that day. Something else to note is that the day-time staff seem very kind and professional, but the gentleman we spoke to at about 1AM when returning from dinner was abrupt and unhelpful. I stayed as a single guest whilst the rest of my family were in parties of two. Their rooms were excellent with plenty of room and full bathrooms. My room was small, a sort of limbo between the end of the bed and the wardrobe to get to the bathroom (which only had a shower) and my rate was the same (if not higher). This hotel is really for business clients. It is corporate in style and service and there are extra charges for many services. The most notable was the charge for inroom wifi access of £15 per day, which in contemporary times can not be justified. Wifi was free in the bar and foyer, which made us think it was about selling food and drink rather that […] accommodating guests needs. As an international traveller it is important to be able to keep in touch with family and friends 24/7 and additional charges are unacceptable these days. The other issue was the lack of laundry facilties...the inhouse service charged per item. It was necessary to go down the road to find a laundromat as one load of washing would have cost a huge amount inhouse. A small refrigerator in the room would have been helpful and the £3.50 charge for a bottle of water was too much. It would have been great to be able to get fresh air into the room - this wasn't possible - but the air conditioning was controllable. The food was fine and fresh and the staff were lovely. They seemed a little embarassed about the wifi policy and were helpful in every way possible. Read more

The hotel is well kept and spacious for a London Hotel. If you need to get an early morning flight from Heathrow it is ideally situated. The added benefit is that you can get into London easily on the Tube and there are some acceptable places to eat nearby. There is a wardrobe but no drawers so unpacking is not really an option.

In this day and age of tablets/smartphones everywhere, I would expect a hotel charging this much per night to chuck in a bit of wifi for its customers. And to expect people to pay £3.50 for a small bottle of water in your room is, frankly, astounding. I think I'll look elsewhere for hotels with free wifi in future.

The overall experience of the hotel was excellent. The room was very comfortable and luxurious. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was very good. However lighting in the bathroom was ridiculous. I couldn't see to put on make-up and it felt like night-time in there. When I returned to the main area I was literally blinking […] into the day light. Ambient lighting is one thing, but at least one good light in the bathroom is necessary, preferably near a mirror for those of us who prefer not put our make-up on in the dark!
