Lovely staff, fun old beautiful building, perfectly located within the city walls. The breakfast was ok... But...free parking is a stretch. The free parking is located a 7-10 minute walk away, difficult to find even with a city map.

I can only say good things about this hotel. Large rooms, very clean with a balcony and a (small) view of the boardwalk/carnevale. Outstanding breakfast buffet. Located within three minutes to the official entrance of the carnevale. The staff is very helpful and friendly. You can get reduced (in price) tickets at the reception and they will tell you how to save on parking as well. Really deserves a fourth star.

Even though the rooms are tiny, you can't beat the location. Look out the window and there is the leaning tower of Pisa - maybe one minute to walk there. If you know about Italian traffic rules and signs, don't be discouraged. The signs warn you not to drive into the historic district, but as a guest of this hotel you can and will receive a special parking permit. The remainder of Pisa and lots of restaurants are right around the corner.

La camera matrimoniale standard è piccola e questo non era evidente dalle informazioni dell'hotel e di Expedia. In compenso era stata appena ristrutturata con mobili e sanitari nuovi. Très bon, je voyais seule avec mon chien, j'ai eu droit à une chambre sur l'arrière du bâtiment, donc pas eu à subir le bruit de la route (j'ai même laissé la porte fenêtre ouverte). This should really not be a 4 star hotel, it is a 3 star hotel with a 4 star breakfast!! The breakfast was really good, but the room was small and the bathroom ect. was from the 1940's. Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel for one night, and it was a pleasant stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful with everything. The hotel had bikes we could borrow, and bicycling into Lucca took approx 4 min. Wi-fi and everything was included, as well as a delicious breakfast with a variety of things to eat. Hotel napoleon is bout 10minutes walk from the historical center of lucca. the room was clean and renovated but they still had to finish some small things. The hotel needs a renovation but its clean and the staf was friendly and helpful but no knowledge of your internet connection. Hotellet var helt greit. Servicen i resepsjon og bar var helt perfekt. Rommene var veldig små men greie. Vi reiste med spedbarn og de ansatte var veldig behjelpelig med vasking og koking av flasker o.l Det som virkelig trekker ned helheysinntrykket er elendig beliggenhet dersom gamlebyen er målet med turen. Hotellet ligger et lite stykke fra muren. […] Men skal du spasere inn så må du gå en god omvei for å komme frem. Det er ikke tilrettelagt for fotgjengere. "Bien situé"
L'hôtel est bien situé car on laisse la voiture au parking de l'hôtel et après on peut visiter la ville en y allant à pied (20 minutes du centre). Par contre, c'est vrai que le seul point négatif que je relèverais c'est l'isolation phonique avec l'extérieur.Genuine Expedia guest review
