Great hotel, great location, however do not stay if you intend on using their WIFI as it is bad cuts out often or does not work at all. But if you do not need WIFI its great hotel for the price staff is greatGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Air conditioner was not the greatest but overall a nice place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Bad experience at this hotel, friendly staff but hidden fees at check in completely ruined the experience. Better quality hotels in the area with no hidden fees. Buyer beware.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Solid hotel choice for the Zona Rosa"
For the money this is a good hotel with an excellent location and decent prices, I believe other hotels in the area are pricier. Staff is friendly and professional, most speak English, rooms are nice, you can hear some noise if you are near the elevator but not enough to be a nuisance, didn't see AC but it is Mexico City, shower and sink have to be […] turned hard to cut off entirely and elevators are a bit small but that's being nitpicky, we initially just booked for one night to see how we liked it and ended up staying the whole trip there. Our room was in good condition, clean, decent bed, and did I mention the excellent location? Didn't use the facilities or the breakfast, if you want good affordable food in the area La Casa de Toño is nearby, often crowded but worth the wait Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Plaza Florencia in the middle of everything"
My stay at Plaza Florencia was pleasant. Even though there was a language barrier the staff did everything to help with the communication. The food was above average and the wait staff did a fabulos job. My only negative experience was my phone got stolen from the hotel. Outside of that the stay there was good enough that I would go back to Mexico City […] and stay there again. There were plenty of things to do in the area. Lots of shopping and clubs. Be prepared because this section of town has a high gay population. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This hotel is at a great location only steps from the Reforma and the Zona Rosa. Quality was excellent considering the price rates. Many Hotels at this tier don't always offer this level of quality. Staff was top notch and always made you feel welcomed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Buffet was good, but was not included in my package. I felt very comfortable walking in the area. There were plenty of restaurants and coffee shop in the area. Less than 10 min walk to metro, ave Reforma, etc. Staff was pleasant and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Inexpensive, close to Embassy"
Clean. Zona Rosa has turned seedy but a nice modern feeling.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel close to beautiful places. Good WiFi"
Good price for the location. Drinking water bottles and coffee should be included in the priceGenuine Expedia guest review
I travel often to Mexico and tried different hotels. The PF hotel is a humble and nice hotel, where you can find comfortable room and decent location. I will continue booking this hotel. Beside its rates are very good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Always stay here when we go to Mexico City. Great location in Zona Rosa. Easy walk to Insurgentes Metro station. Hotel is clean, comfortable and reasonably priced onlineGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location in a wonderful destination"
Daily maid service kept everything spotless. Breakfast buffett on main floor was a little more, but well worth it. Hotel was well-located for easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. There was so much to see and do that 1 week was not enough. We will have to return, and we will stay here, again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not fancy, but great location and value"
This hotel is not fancy, but the location is great in the Zona Rosa, and the staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are basic but the beds are comfortable and spotless. Some minor cosmetic issues in our room (the Pergo flooring had a couple of gaps in it) so if you are a total perfectionist, stay elsewhere. "Nice hotel in zona rosa"
Helpful staff always from front desk to bell boys helping with luggage and secure taxis. great location in Zona Rosa close to many good restraunrts and bars. close to a metro station at Insurgentes and Reforma avenue was an easy walk to museums and Bosque de Chapultepec. Comfortable beds, secure hotel would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel reasonably priced in the very vibrant section of DF zona rosa. Many food and drink options close to the hotel and safety was not an issue, many people out even at night and a strong police presence adding to the security of the area. will stay here again in Mexico city. staff at the hotel very helpful and professional.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for price and very comfortable & convenient"
I used to live in Mexico City and was on a visit. I know the area very well so it was very convenient for me. There are a ton of restaurants in the area as it is known as the tourist area. It has a rather promiscuous night life in the area also, and certain areas you'll want to avoid. But it's very close to Reforma, the US Embassy, the Angel of Independencia, […] and only a few blocks away from good shopping, eating, etc. Also, a short cab or bus ride to Chapultepec Park, The Castle, The Anthropology Museum, and Polanco (very nice area and lots of restaurants and shopping). It is a great area for getting around town. The Metro Insurgentes (Pink line) is right at the end of the of Genova Street and from there, very easy to flip over to the Blue line at Pino Suarez and go to the Zocalo and right downtown. Easy and cheap. Generally safe...just pay attention and don't act like a tourist. Oh, almost forgot the hotel...LOL - clean, cheap, spacious enough for me. Could use a remodel and the plumbing is strong but delayed coming out of the faucet. No free water; only offered at an exorbitant price (38 MXP). Pharmacy next door sold the very same product for 8.5 MXP. A few convenience stores also nearby. No ice machines so you need to order it and it will be delivered promptly. Restaurant buffet is less than desirable, and off the menu is okay. For the price, go elsewhere. Decent gym downstairs. Cordial staff. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel in a bad neighborhood"
The rooms were clean, the service was great and the beds were soft. The neighborhood was not what I was looking for. Next time I'all stay closer to the historical district.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good if traveling on a budget."
I was really disappointed with how small the room was. Also, the cleanliness of the room. The shower head broke and the are was pretty noisy. I would probably not recommend this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Comfortable and good location"
The location is great; at walking distance from Angel of Independence and Chapultepec Castle. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is the second time I stayed there and the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Excellent Location, Pleasant staff"
Overall very good, stayed only for the weekend, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Up to US standards re: comfort. Did not use the restaurant or bar, so i cant rate those, but the location is outstanding, just 3 short blocks to paseo de la reforma, and on the edge of Zona Rosa, and all the restaurants there. Only downsides i felt were the street […] noise (i was on 5th floor, but still heard some street noise into the night, particularly from the popular Pulqueria across the street - but rooms not facing the street wouldnt be bothered by that. And the inroom coffee was not complimentary, you will be charged if you use it - that seemed odd to me, but perhaps that is standard for Mexico City hotels. Had only minimal interactions with staff, but they were always very pleasant and helpful (doorman, front desk clerks and maids). Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, paper-thin walls, aging"
Overall I was happy with this hotel because it was clean and in safe, well-lit area of Zona Rosa. Excellent location. However, the rooms are aging, and my room with a king-sized bed was small, to the point of where the bed took up the entire room. For $400 over six nights, that isn't exactly the best value in Mexico City. The walls were paper thin, […] and I could hear a lot of what my neighbors were doing... The staff was nice and helped me out with ice from the restaurant (there are no ice machines on floors). A cab to the airport provided by the hotel is a huge rip off by Mexico standards, $200 pesos, whereas one off the street would be around $80 pesos or so. The Metro (which I should have just used, since it was 11 a.m.) is only $5 pesos. Whatever, I got to airport/home safe. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel in the best tourist area!."
Great staff, great location, great price, good facilities and a very safe place to be in Mexico city!. You can walk around the hotel area and get nice Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, French and Korean food. A drug store is a few steps from the hotel, also a convenience store. One block away you can visit a traditional public market and buy souvenirs. […] If your idea is to get to The Pyramids, a tourist agency is located to the right side of the hotel, the agents speak English and they are very friendly. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Location was very good (restaurants, metro, shops). The staff was friendly. We did not eat there, so I can't comment on the food. What bothered me the most is that they advertise a coffee maker in the room, but they don't mention that you have to buy the individual coffee packs!! This was very inconvenient as I love having coffee as soon as I get up […] in the morning. In addition, bottled water at the hotel costs about 30 pesos, while at the corner store it costs 7 pesos. Like I said, due to its good location you could walk a block for basics like good fresh brewed coffee and water. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"So so stay"
Staff was not always the friendliest or most helpful. Incorrectly converted exchange at check in and demanded more money on checkout causing multiple international charges. This was their error and should have been absorbed by them.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice hotel, well situated"

"Price and location"
I agree with the other reviews, the staff was normally friendly but not always helpful. There was a concierge area , but no concierge during my entire stay. I've been to different parts of Mexico before and this was the first hotel in Mexico to not offer complimentary bottle water, instead they offered bottle water for sale in your room. I would only […] recommend this hotel for travelers who are more interested in price and location and not about creature comforts. NO so good, due hotel conditiones, the clean is not OK, and old hotelGenuine Expedia guest review
My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, showing us where to go in the area, calling taxis (expensive taxis- but taxis). They allowed us to check in early upon arrival and the restaurant was delicious.Genuine Expedia guest review

I've stayed in the same room on the 12th floor many times. But this time, I was unable to get a WiFi signal during the whole weekend which necessitated trips to the lobby in order to receive my email. For me, it was no big deal as I was able to get it on a different schedule and was not disturbed constantly meaning that I didn't have to worry about […] having to losing sleep.
