"Great Hotel Location"
Hotel is pleasing for the price, room was comfortable and internet in room was ok.... the issue here was that the in-room a/c was not adequate due to the lack of ventilation in the room... we had to open our door and close the window coverings so the room would cool off.. then to make matters worse, the maid would turn off the a/c so when we got back […] the room was an oven!.. comfortable room, great staff, perfect location. Walls are a bit thin, though. So I did hear some loudness from the room next door.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location, everything else is meh..."
great location; close to subway, shops, bars, and el angel. only a shower, no tub. rooms were a bit on the small side. drainage was a bit of an issue. water drained slow, so if u take long showers ur bathroom may flood a little. service was okay. we requested that our whole party (4 couples, 2 singles) stay on the same floor. they put us on the same […] floor, but we were all on double beds. we went back and requested for king beds and told us they didn't have more than one king on each floor. i thought that was odd, but fine. they separated us. one of the rooms didn't have any air conditioning so we requested to change rooms again. they put us on the same floor a few doors down, but this time the room had AC. But i thought you didn't have any other open rooms with king beds? door men were awesome. very knowledgeable and knew neighborhood. they suggested some good places to eat and visit. PF suites is a good option to stay in Mexico DF. The restaurant serve good food. The rooms are clean. I stayed there in 2011 and 2013 and I could be staying again in a future visit. The only thing that I did not like was that the hotel ran out of water on March 31st 2013 (well, all the DF). This hotel is a good option because is near to Paseo de la […] Reforma, Condesa and (due to his location) it's easy to move to any place. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Plaza Florencia gives you your money's worth."
On arrival we were placed in a room in front of the elevator, which turned out to be very noisy. The following day, however, we were moved to another room where we did not hear the noise. The hotel is clean, water pressure is good, and it is centrally located about 3 blocks from Reforma Avenue and 2 blocks from the Insurgentes metro station. Make sure […] and include the buffet breakfast in your reservation, it is well worth the price. This is a moderately priced hotel, so don't expect any frills, but you will definitely get your money's worth. There is no free bottled water in the rooms, but right next door is a pharmacy and across the street on the corner a grocery store where you can get a liter of bottled water for 10 pesos or less. The 1.5 liter bottles in the room cost 38 pesos, so use them only in an emergency. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good value for your hard earned pesos."
As usual, the staff were outstanding. I was given a roof top room with a great view of the Angel at the traffic circle, and other neat sights. The facility is old and worn, but so are most of the other hotels in this area. I visit this hotel once a month, and it seems that this past stay (March 2013) the pimps and club hustlers were especially aggressive. "Nice, clean, friendly, excellent location !!!"
I go To México once a month on business since two years ago. I have stayed in several hotels in the "zona rosa" in The $60 To $100 Range until I found this nice, quiet, nice, clean and friendly hotel and have been back 6 times lately. Walking distance To all The hussle and buzzle of the área but far enough to feel safe and confortable on a beautiful […] street that is only 3 blocks blocks away from The Angel of Independence, the best area of gorgeous Reforma Avenue (the Champs Élysées on Mexico City) and also two blocks from the heart of the pink zone where the night action is located. "Great hotel at Great valué"
I Love this small hotel. It is nice, well maintained, cozy, and comfortable, in an área known with a lot of activity (zona rosa) but far enough from it ( 2 blocks). Great location and safe. Great for business, tourism, and families. Friendly service. It is not a luxury 5 star hotel with pools and gardens but it has a lot to offer for the low rate. Great […] for business trips. "Good Hotel for a Family or Couples"
Good Hotel. I will recomended a reservation with full breakfast. Very good location and good breakfast .Genuine Expedia guest review
Basic hotel, close to zona rosa but secure even in the evening. Would stay here again. The hotel recommended a rest for dinner close and was great and reasonably priced. Hotel has similar cab service that is expensive, but is not a cab, private car and for example 200 pesos to go to the south or Taxqena bus station.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, great people!"
We loved the view from our 7th floor window: we could see the two volcanoes and the city skyline. The Boboli cafe inside the hotel is nice and the manager and the waiters are very attentive. We also enjoyed the different restaurants around the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a great experience and stay at Hotel PF. Room was modern, beds were comfortable, and location was excellent. Never had problems with water being too hot or cold in bathroom. The front desk staff and concierge were very friendly, helpful, and professional. Housekeeping was also good. The only downside was that there was a lot of early morning […] noise by housekeeping. A lot of door-slamming and shouting in the halls outside the rooms. However, it was only a small annoyance and the hotel's value, comfort and location far outweighed that slight inconvenience. Lots of restaurants, shopping, sights, and transportation options within walking distance of hotel made it ideal for our stay as a home base. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"So so hotel in a good spot."
I've stayed here a few times now, it serves its purpose. Pros: fairly cheap, easy to get to places from here, the front desk staff are helpful and the free wifi works sometimes. Cons: dilapidated rooms, not the most secure hotel (no security chain, flimsy locks, etc), housekeeping barges in without warning (regardless of do not disturb, deadbolt) and […] the lower floors that connect to the patio are usually full of drunks that are very noisy until 3-4am (drunken conversations, loud television, etc). With that said, expect a middle of the road hotel that has a lower price than it has to. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Its a nice calm hotel for friends and family."
The hotel has a excellent ubication. The streets are secure so you can walk and visit all the stores, bars, etc. The rooms have excellent size but the only three things I didn´t like are that you could hear the things people talk standing in the lobbies or next room, that the hot air in the AC didn´t work and the elevator was very small and old.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Location is perfect, Zona Rosa is fun, and safe!"
I chose this hotel for it's location and price-and we were happy to find good restaurants on the streets around,Our room # 906 was very quiet (overlooking the inner courtyard with a partial view of the mountains. the a/c was loud, but we did not need it due to the season (late October). The room was cleaned every day, and having hardwood floors in the […] room was a huge plus.We wouldn't order the king size room, b/c the bed was much bigger than any king size i'd ever seen, and it filled the entire space to the point that we couldn't move the chair by the desk. Though the bed was comfortable, and linens- adequate.Free safe in the closet is a big plus. The bathroom is bare bone(no washing cloth)We had no problems with hot/cold water,as other reviews stated. The shower was always strong. The staff at the front desk were sort of indifferent to us(everybody speaks English),with the great exception of Concierge Victor and his younger colleague Juan-they helped us very eagerly every day.The breakfast at the hotel cafe was better than any other place around-we tried 3-4 and came to the conclusion that the service is faster, more attentive here. They offer buffet ($15)but it was too much food,so we were ordering from the menu.I wouldn't recommend asking for a taxi from the front desk as they tend to call their buddies who want twice more than any regular cab from the street,My husband and I liked the city, but couldn't cover all sights during our 6 days visit,so next time will stay here again. "Same Hotel, Second Time"
This was my second stayed on the same hotel and I have to say that I am kind of disappointed with it. This time I found the blankets dirty, they were not refilling the soaps, shampoos and others every day. And front desk was not greeting the customers all the time like last time. Still the position of the hotel is great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"terrific location - terrific hotel!"
this place is a great location for seeing everything. its close to the metro, close to a LOT of good restaurants, and you can walk to the Chapultec castle and the huge park, just west of the hotel a bit. the zona-rosa area has become a bit openly-gay, so you may need to prepare yourself for a lot of gay Mexican men showing overt affection for each-other […] in public. "Good value, nice location"
This was an excellent location for the Zona Rosa. The hotel is quiet at night, was adequately clean and comfortable and an overall good value. It is definitely not a 4 or 5 star hotel, but if you are looking for a 3 star at a fair price, in a good location, close to restaurants and the subway, it certainly meets all those.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location in the in the gayborhood"
This hotel was located in an amazing location with a great price. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is pretty basic, but serves its purpose. The location was good and the free wifi worked well. Other than that, the room was nothing special. It was basic and served my needs. Some annoying things were small but still annoying - the bottom sheet was too small to be tucked under the mattress; there was no "do not disturb" sign so housekeeping came in at 8am while I was still asleep; there was […] no chain on the door to prevent housekeeping (or someone with the wrong key) from coming in; the towels were tattered and had many, many holes, 2 of my lamps flickered on and off and the hall light didn't work at all. "Clean, friendly, in a great part of the city."
This is a "best deal" for us - we've stayed here multiple times... because it's a really good hotel, in a fun part of town, at a WAY reasonable price. This time they didn't have the room we'd ordered available, so they upgraded us to a suite at no additional cost. 2nd time that's happened.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Average hotel, good location"
Overall this hotel was in a good location but was average standard but for the price we felt that they need to work on the little things. What is the checkout time?), there was no 'do not disturb' sign in room and the cleaners opened the door […] to the room without knocking etc. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location at an affordable price"
It's difficult to beat the great location for the price. Right in the middle of the Zona Rosa, 2 blocks from the subway station, and with easy access to two of the main avenues, Insurgentes and Reforma. The hotel is clean, although the beds are a little too hard. Free WIFI, A/C, and safety boxes. The restaurant is a little too pricey. One can find better […] and/or cheaper options within a block or two. This the second time, I stay there and I would stay there again. "Great value for short business trips."
I had vague memories of the hotel after staying there as a child, over 30 years ago, and decided to stay there because other brand name hotels in the area either had no vacancy or were way out of my budget. Based on the reviews here I was expecting an old decaying hotel, but what I found was in line with what you normally find at a typical business […] hotel, at a fraction of the cost and within walking distance of the Reforma business district and the zona rosa entertainment district. I had a clean, well furnished room, shower worked well, wooden floor (much cleaner than a carpet), ironing board, the ac worked well and it was enough to cover any noise coming from the busy street, wifi Internet was a bit slow, but so it is at just about any other hotel. I did not try the restaurant because there are many good options nearby. Definitely the best value for business travelers going to the center of Mexico City. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Comfortable stay with friends at Hotel PF recently. I was a little nervous because of the great deal we got through hotels.com but we were pleasantly surprised. Staff of this hotel were amazing! The location is great! This is not a 5 star hotel, but for most of us....we need it for a place to sleep, shower, and use the facilities. Best beds I've ever slept on in Mexico! Free internet-worked great in the lobby but not so great in the room. A bottle of water was already open in the room when we arrived. "HPF good option"
My wife and I found Hotel Plaza Florencia a good base while I was working in the city. The staff is outstanding. To their credit, when I realised that my booking fell a day short of our departure, they did not gouge us for the additional day. The only negatives are (1) the bed was too hard, (2) the hallway echoes, so that when a door is shut it sounds […] like a jailhouse, and (3) the neighborhood is both seedy and expensive. This last is easily remedied by crossing Cuauhtemoc to Colonia Roma, walking west across Sevilla, or east across Havre. That said, the location is safe, easy to find, and convenient to the Metro.
