"Clean, paper-thin walls, aging"
Overall I was happy with this hotel because it was clean and in safe, well-lit area of Zona Rosa. Excellent location. However, the rooms are aging, and my room with a king-sized bed was small, to the point of where the bed took up the entire room. For $400 over six nights, that isn't exactly the best value in Mexico City. The walls were paper thin, […] and I could hear a lot of what my neighbors were doing... The staff was nice and helped me out with ice from the restaurant (there are no ice machines on floors). A cab to the airport provided by the hotel is a huge rip off by Mexico standards, $200 pesos, whereas one off the street would be around $80 pesos or so. The Metro (which I should have just used, since it was 11 a.m.) is only $5 pesos. Whatever, I got to airport/home safe. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel in the best tourist area!."
Great staff, great location, great price, good facilities and a very safe place to be in Mexico city!. You can walk around the hotel area and get nice Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, French and Korean food. A drug store is a few steps from the hotel, also a convenience store. One block away you can visit a traditional public market and buy souvenirs. […] If your idea is to get to The Pyramids, a tourist agency is located to the right side of the hotel, the agents speak English and they are very friendly. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Location was very good (restaurants, metro, shops). The staff was friendly. We did not eat there, so I can't comment on the food. What bothered me the most is that they advertise a coffee maker in the room, but they don't mention that you have to buy the individual coffee packs!! This was very inconvenient as I love having coffee as soon as I get up […] in the morning. In addition, bottled water at the hotel costs about 30 pesos, while at the corner store it costs 7 pesos. Like I said, due to its good location you could walk a block for basics like good fresh brewed coffee and water. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Staff was not always the friendliest or most helpful. Incorrectly converted exchange at check in and demanded more money on checkout causing multiple international charges. This was their error and should have been absorbed by them.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Price and location"
I agree with the other reviews, the staff was normally friendly but not always helpful. There was a concierge area , but no concierge during my entire stay. I've been to different parts of Mexico before and this was the first hotel in Mexico to not offer complimentary bottle water, instead they offered bottle water for sale in your room. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely kind and attentive, showing us where to go in the area, calling taxis (expensive taxis- but taxis). They allowed us to check in early upon arrival and the restaurant was delicious.Genuine Expedia guest review

I've stayed in the same room on the 12th floor many times. But this time, I was unable to get a WiFi signal during the whole weekend which necessitated trips to the lobby in order to receive my email. "Good place, good location"
I stayed there for one night. It has an excellent location close to the zona rosa, angel de la independencia, US embassy, and the Insurgentes metro station (the pink line). The place is clean and the staff is friendly and professional. I would definitely go back again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Hotel Location"
Hotel is pleasing for the price, room was comfortable and internet in room was ok.... the issue here was that the in-room a/c was not adequate due to the lack of ventilation in the room... we had to open our door and close the window coverings so the room would cool off.. then to make matters worse, the maid would turn off the a/c so when we got back […] the room was an oven!.. "Great location, everything else is meh..."
great location; close to subway, shops, bars, and el angel. only a shower, no tub. rooms were a bit on the small side. drainage was a bit of an issue. water drained slow, so if u take long showers ur bathroom may flood a little. service was okay. we requested that our whole party (4 couples, 2 singles) stay on the same floor. they put us on the same […] floor, but we were all on double beds. we went back and requested for king beds and told us they didn't have more than one king on each floor. i thought that was odd, but fine. they separated us. one of the rooms didn't have any air conditioning so we requested to change rooms again. they put us on the same floor a few doors down, but this time the room had AC. But i thought you didn't have any other open rooms with king beds? door men were awesome. very knowledgeable and knew neighborhood. they suggested some good places to eat and visit. PF suites is a good option to stay in Mexico DF. The restaurant serve good food. The rooms are clean. I stayed there in 2011 and 2013 and I could be staying again in a future visit. The only thing that I did not like was that the hotel ran out of water on March 31st 2013 (well, all the DF). "Plaza Florencia gives you your money's worth."
On arrival we were placed in a room in front of the elevator, which turned out to be very noisy. The following day, however, we were moved to another room where we did not hear the noise. Make sure […] and include the buffet breakfast in your reservation, it is well worth the price. This is a moderately priced hotel, so don't expect any frills, but you will definitely get your money's worth. There is no free bottled water in the rooms, but right next door is a pharmacy and across the street on the corner a grocery store where you can get a liter of bottled water for 10 pesos or less. The 1.5 liter bottles in the room cost 38 pesos, so use them only in an emergency. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good value for your hard earned pesos."
As usual, the staff were outstanding. I was given a roof top room with a great view of the Angel at the traffic circle, and other neat sights. The facility is old and worn, but so are most of the other hotels in this area. I go To México once a month on business since two years ago. I have stayed in several hotels in the "zona rosa" in The $60 To $100 Range until I found this nice, quiet, nice, clean and friendly hotel and have been back 6 times lately. Walking distance To all The hussle and buzzle of the área but far enough to feel safe and confortable on a beautiful […] street that is only 3 blocks blocks away from The Angel of Independence, the best area of gorgeous Reforma Avenue (the Champs Élysées on Mexico City) and also two blocks from the heart of the pink zone where the night action is located. I Love this small hotel. It is nice, well maintained, cozy, and comfortable, in an área known with a lot of activity (zona rosa) but far enough from it ( 2 blocks). Great location and safe. Good Hotel. I will recomended a reservation with full breakfast. Very good location and good breakfast .Genuine Expedia guest review
Basic hotel, close to zona rosa but secure even in the evening. Would stay here again. The hotel recommended a rest for dinner close and was great and reasonably priced. Hotel has similar cab service that is expensive, but is not a cab, private car and for example 200 pesos to go to the south or Taxqena bus station.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, great people!"
We loved the view from our 7th floor window: we could see the two volcanoes and the city skyline. The Boboli cafe inside the hotel is nice and the manager and the waiters are very attentive. We also enjoyed the different restaurants around the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We had a great experience and stay at Hotel PF. Room was modern, beds were comfortable, and location was excellent. Never had problems with water being too hot or cold in bathroom. The front desk staff and concierge were very friendly, helpful, and professional. Housekeeping was also good. The only downside was that there was a lot of early morning […] noise by housekeeping. A lot of door-slamming and shouting in the halls outside the rooms. However, it was only a small annoyance and the hotel's value, comfort and location far outweighed that slight inconvenience. Lots of restaurants, shopping, sights, and transportation options within walking distance of hotel made it ideal for our stay as a home base. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"So so hotel in a good spot."
I've stayed here a few times now, it serves its purpose. Pros: fairly cheap, easy to get to places from here, the front desk staff are helpful and the free wifi works sometimes. Cons: dilapidated rooms, not the most secure hotel (no security chain, flimsy locks, etc), housekeeping barges in without warning (regardless of do not disturb, deadbolt) and […] the lower floors that connect to the patio are usually full of drunks that are very noisy until 3-4am (drunken conversations, loud television, etc). With that said, expect a middle of the road hotel that has a lower price than it has to. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
