    we booked this hotel at the last minute, it was just a weekend to get away and visit 6th st, only 2 streets away, hotel staff was excellent, obviously there's nicer hotels but for what we paid this was great, would definitely stay here again

    We parked the car at the hotel and walked everywhere with baby in the stroller. A little awkward walking back to the hotel with the baby after bat watching through busy nightlife. Hotel staffs were awesome. We arrived at noon and wanted to check in early. Hotel was busy with SXSW guest, they were taking waitlist.     I've stayed here a few times and enjoyed every one of them. Its a great place, very clean and relatively close to everything I need when I visit. There may be some cheaper places to stay in Austin but if you're looking for something comfortable, nice and close to downtown, I encourage you to stay here.

    I loved our room on the 11th floor overlooking 6th Street! It was a little loud from all of the bars but we didn't mind it and the front desk told us to expect the noise and if we didn't like it we could switch our room. The room was very clean and spacious, the shower was great and the beds were very comfortable.

    The hotel's baker was very nice and prompt. Jacuzzi could have been warmer, as the pool. Corner King suite was in a very noisy and loud location of the hotel thanks to the party and club goers on the street below. Couldn't stay asleep until after 2 am, and we were on the 5th floor. Windows sounded paper thin with shrieks heard right through as though […] we were on the ground level. Room service forgot to bring us an extra pillow after phone request was made. Suite was nice and very updated, but too small for the 3 of us, and the bath amenities, like shampoo and conditioner, were scarce for a 3 person room. Convenient store downstairs was much appreciated since my son was sick and to of had to drive in the area to a pharmacy would have been very inconvenient. Having a Starbucks attached was a highlight for me, although they charged my credit card $30 when the receipt said $25... Very small hotel lounge with no separation from the front desk & lobby. Overall, nice for business people who can afford it, but wouldn't go back with family for the over priced night of no sleep, even at the 30% discount from hotels.com. Read more

I understand how frustrating it can be to call and and not recieve and we will be making corrections. The party goers do enjoy some late nights here in Ausitn. While the double pane windows and noise cancleing curtains do prevent much of the noise we still have white noise fans and other sleeping aids to assist lighter sleepers. We do offer some of the best value in downtown. I do hope you give us a try durring a slower time in Ausitn.

    The hotel room was ok, no vent fans and my window opened fully to a roof top where other guests in the same vicinity could climb out and possibly peek or break into other rooms. The room service took and hour to get up to the room and was cold and store bought. My #1 complaint: all conversations in our room could be heard IN THE HALL through a vent/light […] fixture combination above our door. I can only assume every other room was like this. I could hear everything from the other side of the closed door even when my boyfriend was talking in the far corner of the suite. So glad this was not a romantic getaway as I would have had to get a different room/hotel. The pluses: We had an easy time getting a late check out and the valets were extremely nice and helpful. You are correct that the downtown hotels are significantly more expensive than hotels on the outskirts of town. Our team really puts thier best foot forward to make sure all of our guests are provided the services and information to best enjoy all that Downtown Austin has to offer. Staying downtown you are just steps from the convention cetner, the best entertainment, amazing restaurants and even hiking and biking trails. We hope you give Austin and our downtown hotels another try on your next visit.

    The rooms are very spacious, however there was a small issue with outlet locations. Other than that, the hotel is lovely, the staff was friendly and helpful, and it was within walking distance from every location I wanted to go to.

We do have a few at the desk and around the bed stands. Also every sitting area in the lobby are equiped with all your power needs.     My only complaint was the noise from the street and from the rooms next to us. I could even hear the neighbor singing in the shower in the morning. Next time I will wear earplugs!

    I stayed one night while visiting Austin the Formula 1 grand prix race (Nov 16-18). Excellent stay. The hotel appears to be fairly new and is well located, probably being one of the closest to the bar and restaurant area. Next year I will book earlier to see if I can also get a room for the Friday and Saturday nights.     We based our decision on the last picture in the sequence that looked like it might be an outdoor rooftop bar/lounge. It may be better to title pics or group them. The hotel was otherwise fine.

    Clean, quiet hotel in a central downtown Austin location. The room was spacious and comfortable. No problems w/ AC breaking. Parking in the garage costs $20/day, but most hotels in the area are about the same. Plenty of restaurants/bars in walking distance. I would definitely stay here again for business or pleasure.

    This hotel remains one of my favorites when visiting Austin, as it's clean, convenient and comfortable. The only issue I have is that their toiletry products (you know...shampoo, etc.) are just poor quality. Would be nice to have a better quality product.
