Decent location for access to motorway and price is fine - in essence you get what you pay for. Would say if you like a personal greeting you don't get one - woman just looked at me and waited for me to talk when I arrived. Most bizarre. Rest of staff were friendly.

Modern hotel and easy to find. Always a good sign when someone is picking up litter, including cigarette ends, from the car park! The pre-booked breakfast at £5 is excellent value - possibly the best 'full english' I have ever had.

The Hotel seemed a little tired. But the staff were all very nice (particularly Klaudia the waitress) but unfortunately the quality of the food was not that good. also we had the fire alarm go off in the early hours of the morning ( due to some guests having candles in their room.) Overall we would rate our stay 4 out of 5.

stayed here overnite for a xmas party at hotel opposite which cost twice as much to stay,room was very comfortable if a little bit chilly[heating was on a timer] but once on was fine bathroom was ok but shower had a knack to it and floor was covered in water when finished overall a very nice stay .would stay here again

We booked a room with 2 single beds, and we got one double. They did make up the beds into 2 singles, however, they were very small and very firm, which gave us both backaches. The shower curtain was filthy.

We were not pleased that there was no wifi in the rooms they were having problems with the router. First time we complained they were ignorant about it . Had to change rooms cause the phone was not working the night staff had problems transferring calls to the rooms. The night shift manager/chef Kay was a big help she organized the wifi for us apologized […] several times and went out of her way to help us out . The hotel doesn't look great inside, or out. A lot of the decor is dated, but is fine for the money. The staff were friendly and helpful. The smoking area is nice, but it is difficult to get back in, and far away from some rooms. The room itself was cosy and pleasant. The free Wi Fi is great, and the big LCD TV is a welcome bonus also. This was my first visit, it was not my first choice. The room was clean. The staff could have been a little more riendly. Price wise and location wise, it's hard to fault. But it is beside a busy dual carriageway and a lot of traffic noise comes through into the rooms. I had stayed at the Quality Hotel before, but not for several years, and was pleased to see that the maintenance work that had been my abiding memory was completed and the place is now looking pretty good. This hotel is a mixed bag really, with a few annoyances, but balanced by some big positives. Noting the problems people had had with plumbing in […] other reviews, we tested the bathroom facilities as soon as we checked in and all was in perfect working order, although a friend did complain that in her room the plug for the bath was too small rendering it unusable. Having booked a double room with double bed I was a little disappointed to find the bed (while certainly a double) had two single matresses on it, making sharing a little uncomfortable. The biggest issue we had over the stay however was with alarm calls. Since I had to be up to work and to catch a return flight I booked alarm calls for two of the 5 nights I stayed... on the first occassion there was no alarm call at all, and on the second (after complaining about the first) it was 45 minutes late. We *did* however receive an unsolicited alarm call at 6:45am on my day off. Apart from being woken by the random alarm call, my ability to sleep was further impeded by a fire alarm, (resulting in everyone piling into the car park, but no real information or organisation to speak of) and the cleaning staff entering the room early morning without knocking. All that said, however, free wifi in all rooms is quite a bonus considering the price, there is a good selection of TV channels and the 'hotel bar' is a real pub with pub food/prices etc. The location on a busy duel carriagway isn't the most convenient, but there is a huge Tesco supermarket opposite, and it's only a 10 minute walk to cinemas and restaurants, so again not at all bad for the price. Despite the grumbles this is a good option for a very cheap three star, and not far from the center of Dudley. Read more

what can i say about the above listed hotel. 1. Do NOT book if you have difficulty walking up stairs, there is NO lift so therefore not disabled friendly, you have to go round to the back of the hotel if you are in a wheelchair or have difficulty walking 2. The room i was in had a shower fitment on the taps that looked like it had been purchased from […] a DIY store( the sort that u stick on the taps), 3. Fire alarm so sensitive you can't have a shower with the bathroom door open as it sets the alarm off, (hotel was evacuated @ 1150pm on the night of my stay) 4. what looked like a kingsize bed from above the covers turned out to be 2 single beds which zip together, Resulted in me sleeping along the zip line of the mattresses upsetting a back injury. Complained to the duty manager who was sympathetic and understanding but was really unable to do anything but apologise. so would i recommend staying at this hotel. ERMMMMMMMMMM. Quality Hotel in Dudley We arrived as a late check in (reason for our visit was work related for 1 night stay) The hotel receptionist was great, friendly, happy and helpful After getting to our room we had to swap due to them putting us with single beds, we are a couple so they changed us to a double (double was booked originally !) The new room […] was ok, the hotel is clean but very basic and could do with a new fresh look. We woke in the morning to have showers, this didn’t work! So a bath was the next best thing We checked out and went onto breakfast, we handed the keys into a female receptionist and made her aware that the shower didn’t work in the room, she wasn’t bothered and answer oh right! That was it, no sorry or anything, thanks for letting us know; even a smile would have even been nice which was a shame as the late night receptionist was so jolly and polite! I booked in on the evening of 25th May. The room smelt faintly of smoke. The room looked tired and in need of an overhall. The toilet was clean, but once again needed replacing. In the morning, the shower just about attained luke warm. I would not consider this to be value for money.
