ACCESS Resort & Villas - Phuket

I stayed at the hotel for 5 days with family and friends, and was overall pleased with the hotel. The best thing is that every room is pool access 24 hours. They are like long canals that connect to a few bigger pools (those are open until 8pm to guests). So if you like relaxing near or in the pool, swimming, etc then this is a great hotel for you. […] Breakfast is a buffet and it is great, with a variety of nice foods that change every day. The regular restaurant is also very nice. The rooms are clean and pretty, and the hotel grounds are very beautiful. The only negative points are the location and speed of service. It often took quite a while to get your order at the restaurant, and while it did not bother me as i wasn't in a rush, i sense it could annoy some people. The other problem was it was quite a bit from the beach. Probably a 15-20 min walk for the average person. The hotel ran a beach drop off service but it was only twice a day and only to the beach, not back. On saying this, the hotel grounds, room, and pools more than make up for this but if you are big on being next to the beach, then maybe this hotel won't be for you. The beach at karon is also better and cleaner than the one in patong, which is another bonus. The nightlife is also less lively than in patong, which can be good or bad depending on what you want. This was a great hotel with easy access to Karon Beach (with a 2-minute drive) and within walking distance to a lot of restaurants. The best part, however, was the fact that the pool was accessible directly from the room, which was very convenient for the kids.

The hotel was very good value for our money considering they were all pool access rooms. It was on Karon beach which was next to the most popular Paying beach so getting around was very convenient. My only disappointment was the fact that the resort was quite rundown but having to keep in mind that you pay for what you get. Beautiful hotel in a great location. The pool that circles the whole hotel area is amazing, you can dip in straight from your back door. The spa facilities where also top notch. Two big thumbs up.

Slipping into the pool from your balcony and swimming to the pool bar were the highlights of a relaxing stay here. The staff were warm, friendly and accommodating. The room was great from the four poster bed to the window seat to the great balacony with a fan for muggy days. The restaurant offered both Thai and western food. Great value for money!

Having pool access from the room was always going to be amazing, which it was! Hotel starting to feel a little aged and tired but it did look like they were starting some work and the place grows on you. 10 min walk to the beach was fine and was nice to be just far enough away from the busy strip. I would recommend booking the Blue wing, as we were […] initially in the green wing which was much more dated but then paid (and bartered) to upgrade to blue wing which was worth it. We were very happy with our choice of access hotel. The only down side was food at the restaurant wasn't fantastic however there is plenty of good restaurants close by. The service at the hotel was fantastic and we loved being able to walk out of the room and jump strait into the pool.

We stayed in the pool suite with private pool and were extremely satisfied with our stay. Service was friendly and overall wonderful. The only downside for some people was the hotel is a 5min taxi ride from the main restaurant area however for us that was considered a bonus as it was very quiet during our stay. Highly recommended

They told us to make our own tour bookings so they could charge the phone call to our room. They tried to cut costs everywhere to reusing bed sheets, to turning the turning aircon off while you are out so you return […] to a very hot room, and not using fresh fruit for cocktails!. The beds were also rock hard and springy. You just didnt get the service Thailand is famous for. We also stayed in a much nicer resort and it cost less then The Access and included B/F. Look around you will find somehwere nicer then this resort for the same or less money. Read more

A bit far from the beach, near to 20 mins by walk. All rooms are pool side!! As we lived in private pool suite for two nights, the lamp under the pool was out of order, i.e. the pool was no lighting at night. I called room service and the staff told me their engineer could not change the lamp at night. In the next morning, I reminder the receptionist […] again that the staff promised me the engineer would change the lamp in day time. However, the lamp did not work even though we checked out. Bra størrelse på rommet. Hadde både badekar og dusj. Man kommer ikke nærmere bassenget da det er rett utenfor "terrassen". Ypperlig for barn som kan svømme. Beliggenheten er grei men bittelitt utenfor shopping og restauranter. Det løses med å ta beina fatt i ca. 10 min evt en tuktuk som frakter deg mot beachområdet for 200 baht. 環境不錯, 所有房間露台直通泳池是一大賣點, 隨時可以跳進水中, 舒適自在. 但是酒店員工服務差勁, 可以說是沒有服務, 整理房間的沒有更換毛巾, 保險箱的問題無人解決, 尤其是高級員工, 笑容欠俸, 對客人提問隨便了事, 實在要再接受培訓. 總結是不會再選擇入住.

Das Personal ist unfreundlich und meist mit sich beschäftigt. Der offene Speisesaal grenzt direkt an den Parkplatz. Während des Frühstücks standen dort regelmäßig Busse mit laufendem Motor, d.h. laut und Abgase. Das Personal kam immer kauend mit vollem Mund aus der Küche. Als die Schüssel Joghurt auf dem Buffet geleert war, wurde mir auf Nachfrage gesagt […] "heute nicht mehr , morgen wieder " . Das Frühstück geht bis 10:30 Uhr es war 09:20 Uhr. Unverschämt. Die Zimmer werden lediglich ausgekehrt und nicht gründlich gereinigt. Im Bad waren 7 Tage diegleichen Zahnpastaflecken als auch der Badewannenrand war dreckig fleckig. Das ganze ist sehr unhygienisch. Haarshampoo und Duschgel gab es auch nicht genug. Wir hatten die Pool Suite gebucht, normalerweise wird dann auch automatisch der Poolbereich gereinigt als auch der Pool selbst, das war hier nicht der Fall. Alles in allem würden wir das Hotel NIE WIEDER buchen ! So etwas haben wir noch nicht erlebt . Das Hotel wurde vo uns nur zum Schlafen genutzt , ansonsten waren wir permanent unterwegs; es ist kein Hotel in dem man sich gerne aufhält. Read more

非常喜欢这里，阳台直通泳池，地点很安静休闲，离海边走路15分钟，不过后来我们都是骑摩托。每天很休闲，泡着晒着，然后出去骑摩托兜风赖在海边。哦我还在这里学会游泳了我会说么。

Vi boede på hotellet i knap 2 uger, det var alt i alt rigtig fint. Sengene var lidt hårde og man kunne mærke fjederne i madressen, men det er kun hvad man kunne forvente. Maden på hotellet var til gengæld rigtig skidt, hvilket er ærgerligt når alt andet var rigtig godt. Hotellet ligger i rimelig gå Afstand til både Karon by og strand. 这个酒店主要是欧美游客，中国人很少，早餐还算丰富，但是比较符合老外的口味。设施还不错，出门就是泳池，干净、人少。最不好的就是，离海滩实在是太远了，走路要20分钟左右。沿途有很多餐馆，超市，ATM。没有儿童设施，带孩子不是很好玩。

This resort is marvellous with nothing bad to say about the rooms. Nice furniture, bathroom with bathtub and a nice window to open from toilet to bedroom in case one wants to take a bath and talk to the other person in bed :-) Opening the balcony leads you directly to one of the several pools, which is really nice. 2 not so good things though: a) […] Breakfast was not included in my booking. And it was _Very_ expensive to buy at the resort. Either book rooms including breakfast or dont eat there. 5 min from hotel are small thai restaurants where you can eat for 1/3 of the price instead. b) This hotel is not very close to the beach, it takes 15-20 min to walk there. It´s not very expensive to take a taxi instead, but if you like to stay close to the beach then this is not the place you should go to. Read more
