Pet friendly, bamboo floors for cleanliness. Jeff and Mike at front desk exceptionally professional and courteous. What a great find for convenience to all sights in the area. Only 40 miles from oregon coast. Short walking distance to Subway, Carl's, Taco del mar, Star Bucks, and Albertsons.

Would have liked to have a coffee maker and a tub. We were doing an event that went fairly late into the evening, a nice soak in a Tub was out, only a shower, and no morning coffee unless I went down to the office. Slept well, great location for my needs, service was good...made several calls to the office for assistance and they were polite and very helpful. The room was OK...can see the room was recently updated. Was not too crazy about the floor which was a "green" wood floor...may have been clean but did not give me the feel of clean.

I marked down the cleanliness of the room because of the overwhelming cigarette smoke smell. My clothes and bag all smell of the smoke. The smell was the strongest in the bath room but the whole room was bad. For non smoking room, this one did not pass.

Non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. Shower was falling apart. Paint splatters everywhere. Overall, very poor decor and upkeep of room. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were cheap and lumpy. I would not stay here again unless I had no other option.

This was a very bad experience. The first room they put me in was by the laundry and the room smelled. The WiFi did not work. After four complaints they moved me to the west wing where the WiFi did finally work. The second room smelled better. They had the hot water so chocked down you were lucky to have a luke warm shower. It was a lot like staying in a college dorm, many people were partying, making a lot of noise. The room was very outdated with cigarette burns on the tub and the toilet barely flushed. Unlike other hotels this one does not provide complimentary shampoo and conditioner.

Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and engaging. I was hopeful. And then it all went down hill ... fast. The room was not clean and not comfortable. The wife and I were tired form a long day of travel, so we just went to bed. The bed was very uncomfortable. The next morning ... after a bad night sleep, I woke to an army of ants on maneuvers, […] starting in the bathroom and making the journey to a used hand towel on the floor. Ugh. The staff moved us to another room that morning, but was surprised that the new room had no carpet ... only a horrible excuse for laminate flooring. It was cold and dirty. Instead of staying the night, we simply got online and got another room in the next town. The manager tried to help with a "refund", but in the end, offered us $13 off. Really? How about you keep the $13 and hire someone to mop the dirty floor ... or get some ant traps? Or better yet ... maybe we'll just avoid the whole ordeal and sleep in the car. Read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the motel room. The bed was very comfortable and the large flat screen TV had Direct TV satellite access. The counter-top, flooring and furnishings were all newly renovated. There was no coffee in the room and only in the lobby in the morning until 10 am.

This hotel is great for just a short term stay. It was clean and the staff was excellent. Very helpful with every need. Only complaints were no carpet in the room, bed needed more blankets, microwave worked after doing some adjusting to it (knob was broke and replaced with a geuneric knob). Otherwise the room was comfortable for the price.

Hotel staff and cleaning services were good, though not excellent. Friendly desk personnel were most helpful with local directions, information and handling of reservation. But while the room was relatively clean, amenities could be inmproved - and the outside appearance of the overall property was somewhat less than perfect. Unfortunately, the mini-frig […] froze everything I put in it, including milk and cheese. And EVERY time I showered, no matter what time of day or how I set the water, during each shower I was alternately scalded and frozen with radically changing water temperatures. Also the tap water tasted atrocious. Whether this is a local water supply issue or specific to this hotel I can't say, but these are the small discomforts that turn pepole away from a hotel property when reserving in future. My sense is that the management are nice people and that a little external cosmetic work and more attention to fine details in the rooms would resolve some of these issues. Read more

The rates were reasonable and the hotel was clean and easy to get to. The only down falls of the hotel were the night clerk did take his time getting to the desk. and we could hear the people talking in the next room.
