    Northwest of Zion Canon along Kolob Canyons Road is the Kolob Canyon Visitor Center to Zion National park. Visitors will find exhibits on the geology of the area in this facility. Rangers are on duty to provide current trail information, issue backcountry permits, and answer questions. A small sales area supplies maps, books and other material. It is open daily year-round, with extended hours in the busier summer months.

    The rooms were dark and there was not enough light in the different areas. I felt like I was in a dungeon as far as the light was concernedm but other than that, the hosts were very pleasant and fun to talk to.

    We had a delightful stay at The Iron Gate. Breakfast was good and very creative. The bed was sooooo comfortable. It was wonderful to fall into a soft comfortable bed at the end of a long day. Thanks for faun stay!!
