"Getting closer to Divinity"
It was a wonderful holiday with our granddaughter. Scenic panormic view from the Room and the Dining Room combined with the Swimming Pool relaxed us completely. A Microwave in the Room would have been a great boon!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Where do I even start to explain how amazing this resort was. We were thoroughly surprised by the attentive butlers that were at our disposal. We were very glad that we opted for the all-inclusive option because it was well worth it. One thing is you have to be one with nature which did not bother us much since the room has three walls. It was very […] soothing to wake up to the amazing views and sounds of nature. Having the infinity pool was the icing on the cake. It gives you the option to just relax and absorb all the visual stimulation in front of your eyes. We would love to visit again in the future! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was Fantastic!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
As a general rule we do not return to the same island or resort. However, Jade Mountain and St. Lucia/Soufriere are a destination that begs a return visit. People are wonderful, resort remarkable and the food, ooh la la. The only downside is that it is a bit of a haul to get there from the Vieux Fort airport but what lay at the end of the transport […] is lovely. If you can, chose to take the helicopter transport for a great view of the island a you land at the resort! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Jade Mountain is a magical place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, to the point where you don't have to worry about a thing. If you are looking for a romantic place to escape and relax, this place is for you! You are surrounded by the lush rain forest and gorgeous Piton mountains. The beach is a bit of a walk, but not to worry, if you don't […] feel like walking they offer shuttle service on demand. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Jade Mountain Resort is located in a beautiful part of St. Lucia with an amazing view of the Piton mountains. We enjoyed the stay, but there were several disappointing issues: 1) The internet was slow and unreliable. 2) The tennis court was always wet, they would need to change the surface. 3) They fruit they offered was not local and did not taste […] good. This is particularly annoying in an island full of delicious fruit trees. 4) The area below the bed was very dirty. 5) The resort offers some rooms with pools, but if you do not have one, there are no pools outside. 6) The room are in the open, and it can get really hot during the day. Be prepared to sweat. 7) The food and very item you may need are very expensive, there are no low cost options. Overall and for the reasons mentioned above, the hotel is overpriced. "Beautiful Hotel on the Mountain"
We got a free upgrade to the Galaxy sanctuary, the best room in the hotel - no the best room in the world. The service here is exceptional, we didn't have to lift a finger. The staff were awesome. They are very friendly, professional, helpful and knowledgeable.Genuine Expedia guest review
From the start this is a special experience. You are greeted by resort staff from the moment you arrive. Every detail of your stay is carefully orchestrated. If you're a "free spirit" you may find the attention to detail a bit intrusive but you will grow to appreciate it. The music and fun is located down the mountain at Anse Chastenate. Look for server […] Fillicia to make it a special event. She was great and really made us feel welcomed. The service is extraordinary. My wife requested Kahlua on the Sunset Cruise. They had none on the boat but had some sent out by ferry to satisfy her request. It was her 60th. birthday and they were more than willing to accommodate her. Now that's great service! Dinner at Jade Mountain was good but not great. Too much pretense and not enough quality for the price. Other than that the food was very good and presentation was extraordinary. The rooms are a knockout. For any special occasions it will be well worth it. We kept pinching ourselves to make sure we were not dreaming! We were upgraded from Sky to Moon when we checked in. On the last night we were upgraded to Galaxy room JD1 at no extra charge. Please, give me a break. What a room. Just magnificent. For a special trip, Jade Mountain can not be beat. "most amazing Romantic spot in the word"
I surprised my wife with a weekend getaway, little did I know how blown away the 2 of us were going to be. From the minute you get there you are pampered from the cold peppermint towels to your own personal butler ( mervin and teddy thanks so much) that takes you and your luggage directly to the room, no waiting to check in you go directly to your room. […] The no worry no problem attitude was soo refreshing from our everyday that it took about 5 minutes to get used to. The BENTLEY was so amazing after a long plane ride and almost an hour ride it couldn't have gotten any better. The room ..........not sure how to describe the feeling all I'm going to say is pictures can not capture the beauty. Just go. You need to experience it yourself. My love for jade mountain started on may 17 2013 when I arrived. Thank you to the unbelievable staff and creators of this astonishing master piece.. Me and my wife will renew our vows there in 2015 with our family. Can't wait.love this place Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Unreal Views of Paradise"
Not only did this hotel have great service (thank you domo Teddy) but it had the most fantastic views of the Pitons! Even when it rained you couldnt be disappointed about your day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Get the room with the infinity pool inside it - it is amazing. When I booked on Hotels.com it wasn't clear that the hotel I booked did not have an infinity pool. We later upgraded after we arrived. The views are great, the temperature was warm. The jazzy boat tour was great fun and so was the volcano mud bath. Teddy was an amazing butler. Excellent […] service, food, and the room (with the infinity pool) was great fun. Note: There is no tech in the room - no TV, no iPhone docking station, etc. So if you want music, bring your own playing device. We will likely visit this hotel again. "The most romantic hotel on earth"
This is a place to put on your bucket list. Book a sanctuary with an infinite pool, get the all inclusive package and arrive by the helicopter. You will not regret it. The open air rooms with the amazing view is not to be believed. The four poster king bed with the mosquito netting is so romantic. The only bad thing is having to leave. There is no elevator, […] lots of steps to the beach and no tv.....but that all made it BETTER. My husband and I went for our 25 th anniversary and it was the trip of a lifetime. It was simply breath taking. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This resort is a perfect romantic getaway. It sits on a hilltop with a perfect view of the ocean and the Pitons (twin mountains). I would recommend getting a star or moon suite to really experience the fullness of the resort. The major domos are amazing and make you feel very comfortable. The food on the resort will stand among some of the best cuisines […] I've ever had. Most of the sought after activities in St. Lucia are nearby the area. The only downside is getting to the resort can be quite a hike. Very bumpy and scary roads, but all the drivers are great. Make sure you bring plenty of bug spray and cover any exposed skin if you want to head to the beach. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"This is upscale camping, great food, ambiance..."
The hotel staff here is amazing, there is nothing they won't do for you. My only complaints are you need to walk 151 steps to the restaurant on top of Jade Mountain, so if you have any restrictions and cannot do this it's a challenge, no elevator. They may drive you if you cannot walk it, but I don't know this. The hotel does not have airconditioning […] the rooms are very nice, but at night it's very noisy due to the crickets, birds, howling dog on the bottom at the beach. I wore ear plugs and a mask so that the light would not wake me up. The comfort of the room is okay at night, but during the day was humid and hot. I am sure the summer is extremly warm 95 degrees and humid. I loved it as an experience, but if you like activity and pool this is not the place for you. Like I said it was very nice, but I think I would do Sandals were it's not so quiet and hot. I would recommond it, if you like camping and don't miind spending alot of money for great meals, romance, quiet and being hot. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great but not the best hotel in St Lucia"
The hotel overall is great but lots of hotels in St Lucia have the same view and I was expecting the room to be a bit more special. The view is what makes the room. The service is good but could be better, all the staff are greeting you all the time with "welcome to paradise" each 5 min.. Which we found a bit annoying. You have a phone in your bedrooom […] to call the butler, in our case, the phone did not work. Lots of features in the room look a bit dated. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We've traveled all over the world and never seen anything like this in our lives. The rooms and the view were breathtaking. To say that the property was magnificent, romantic, or luxurious would be an understatement. We stayed at Jade for the second week of our two week honeymoon. Your butlers will assist you with nearly anything you can think of. (We miss you already Al!) If you're on your honeymoon, make sure that they know. Our butler made sure we had several nice surprises during our stay. Pay attention when they show you how things work in your room, it will save you from having to call with questions later. The manager's welcome cocktail party at Jade was great - we met a lot of the staff who told us about what Jade has to offer. We wandered down to Anse Chasnet for dinner two nights. On Tuesday, they have their manager's welcome party. We stayed for dinner and were seated on the beach. It was amazing. After that night, we ate our meals exclusively at the Jade Club or via room service. Make sure you try the "St. Lucian breakfast" at the Jade Club. We loved snorkeling. We stayed fairly close to the shore and still saw a ton of fish on the reef. Neither of us had snorkeled before, so they sent an instructor into the water with us for about a half hour. The masks, flippers, and instructor were complimentary. Things to be aware of: the Firefly system you used to contact your butler didn't always work properly. We weren't the only people having problems. It truly wasn't a big issue because there was always someone nearby who could answer a question for you. Wear bug spray and definitely sleep under the net. I never saw bugs (seriously, not even a single spider) the entire time we were there, but I did get bit by mosquitos. Our honeymoon was picture perfect. We look forward to returning!
"An Extraordinary Experience"

For our short trip to St. Lucia, my husband and I couldn't decide which Conde Nast Gold List Hotel to stay at (there are four on the island of St. Lucia that made it this year onto the prestigious list), therefore we decided to stay at three of the four (Ladera Resort was closed in September 2014 for renovations). Jade Mountain was the reason why we wanted to venture out to St. Lucia in the first place since we have often read about it's unique architecture in numerous travel magazines. And it definitely did not disappoint. Food: Exceptional (Best food on the island was no doubt here. Sugar Beach Viceroy's cuisine paled in comparison. Anse Chastenet, the sister resort of Jade Mountain also has very good food) Room: Life-Changing (but you need to get the suite with the pool! It makes all the difference in the world!) Service: Outstanding Spa: Mediocre (If you're a spa person and need pampering everyday, then don't have high expectations. The spa is actually non existent. They just have a masseuse in a room. The ultimate spa experience on the island is the Rainforest Spa at Sugar Beach Viceroy). All in all, if we had to come back to St. Lucia, the resort we would venture back to is Jade Mountain. Their customer service, cuisine, and the architectural style of the rooms are far superior. The other resorts are a dime a dozen, but there is only one Jade Mountain. A Definite Must for those looking for a different experience.
"*Glamping* with all its pleasures and drawbacks"
"Glamping" refers to "glamorous camping," and that is really what Jade Mountain offers. I am not a lover of camping, at all, but this hotel provided enough comforts and luxuries to make me truly enjoy and savor my first experience of *glamping*... We took a helicopter in, and so had no problems with the difficult road leading to the hotel. The ride was superb, flawless, gorgeous. We enjoyed the novelty of having our own personal butler. The open-air rooms with their personal infinity pools and Pitons views -- and the entire open-air building -- are jawdroppingly stunning. They make for excellent photo posting on your social website of choice. Great bragging rights. And a beautiful, sensual experience to be enjoyed in it's own right. Very romantic. The climate in the rooms was perfection: the gentle breeze and fans were a million times better than the air conditioning I'm accustomed to in Florida. And the room was actually amazingly clear of insects for the most part. Candles repel the insects at night, the beds have protective netting, the staff comes into the room to spray it roundly when you leave, and the entire grounds receive a huge dose of pesticides every afternoon. When we first saw the giant grey cloud that looked almost like smoke, we called the butler to ask if something was on fire, and he assured us it was just the daily attack on bugs. I'm sure it's something natural and not too chemical-laden of course? ;) However, the bug-killing smoke must not rise to the very top of the building, where the wonderful gourmet restaurant resides. While eating dinner outdoors on the third night, I happened to turn away from the view of the Pitons and back toward the restaurant, and saw 4 or 5 palmetto bugs crawling on the exterior wall. Despite hailing from Florida, I am afraid of these large bugs, and it sent a chill of disgust down my spine. We informed the waiter; he kind of shrugged it off, but offered to bring me some insect repellant for myself, which I accepted. I finally managed to shrug it off myself. Everything here is outdoors, and they're serving food, so what can we expect? We told ourselves that roaches outside did not mean that they were present inside or in the kitchens. Hubby and I actually continued to eat here for every dinner and most lunches, because the food was by far better than in the lower restaurants. Given my fear of bugs, that should say a lot. The steak tar tar, prepared in front of us with a hen's just-laid egg, was the absolute yummiest thing we've ever eaten. But every meal was delicious. We were pleased we'd chosen the meal plan. We skipped the beach immediately below the hotel and took a boat ride over to the second beach (which was also easily walkable). Black sand beaches are new to us, and we loved it. We took a day trip to visit the hotel's farm, a nearby dormant volcano, and some hot springs in a botanical garden. The farm and garden were the best parts. I enjoyed learning about the local flora, and taste testing. We also had a couples' massage: neither the best nor the worst that I've had. Nice. Our wifi worked perfectly well in our room, and we caught up on a couple of movies on our laptop in the late evenings. Service was excellent. The staff even went out of their way to bring us over to a little eatery on the second beach, just before we had to leave for our flight -- getting the chef to open early so that I could try a particular highly recommended sandwich before we had to leave.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in 2012 and returned again to it's sister property (Anse Chastenet) in 2014 for a wedding. It is expensive, but definitely worth it as a major splurge for a big occasion. The views are incredible and the food and service outstanding. There is truly nothing like star gazing from a private infinity pool. It is by far the most romantic place we have ever been.

I had the pleasure of spending 3 nights at Jade Mountain. This place is beyond anything I have ever seeing in my life! The place is breathtaking and beautiful. The staff was the nicest and most humble I have ever come across. Our buttlers were outstanding. I cannot stop complementing this place. I tell everyone to come here and I proudly show my pictures. I loved taking the tour to their farm seeing how they grown their own food organically and conciously. We did the Jungle Biking tour, the volcano, we did some snorkeling, I recommend you do it all. I wish I can remember everyone's names :-( This is place is romantic, luxurious, secluded, peaceful. I will surely be back at Jade Mountain.

This is the most amazing place on earth. My husband and I travel mostly to the carribean 2x a year. I read the reviews for years dreaming of going to this place. It is not cheap however it was worth every dime. There is no way people could every find anything negative about this place unless they are one of those people that are never happy. The Sanctuaries are an amazing experience. The view of the pitons and ocean was spectacular. We spent a lot of time in our sanctuary. We felt like we were the only people there. The resort was fully booked while we were there however there were times we didn't see any other people. We purchase the all inclusive package which was the way to go. We had them bring breakfast, lunch and dinner to your room including wine and drinks as often as you wish. The food was amazing. If you do not want to stay in your room you have plenty of options. You also are able to utilize the sister resort below. When we did venture out it was so easy. You call your butler and they send a car to drive you to the beach area. If you want to go to the private beach, they call a water taxi for you. You literally to not have to do anything. the amazing staff makes it so easy and comfortable to do what ever you want. My husband and I have been married for 35 years, we walked away from this experience, relaxed and in love. Life changing experience. I hope that I can return some day. Thank you Jade mountain and new family for the most amazing vacation!!

I have travel to many parts of the world , but my jaw dropped when I entered our hotel room . The views and pool at the open end of the room are some of the best of my lifetime. The rooms are open with great furnishings . If you chose to walk to the lower resort it's hilly, your can always ride in the vans. 10+++ Hell you could stay in the room the entire time!
"Pure Magical Fantasy"
09/16/14 operacat Los Angeles, California
Might as well admit it, right up front, that Jade Mountain is very expensive; but I think it's worth it. I've read that others disagree; but I have to say that there is no minus to this place. Not even bugs. It has the "no fourth wall" and yet, not one bug did I see or hear in almost a week. I have stayed in some pretty fantastic hotels but this one tops them all for shear wonder and luxury. Looking up at it from the sea, it looks like a rusty old parking structure; but once inside, all is beauty and magic. Built on levels on the side of a mountain, with no elevator, one may not want to climb the many stairs to the restaurant but no worries; they will drive you up and back, or down to the beach at the Anse Chasta net Resort, which is extremely beautiful. There is also a heliopad nearby to go to and from the airport and avoid the rather rough and long car trip. The staff in every department is kind and helpful. They seem genuinely glad to enjoy the place with you, even though they are probably used to all that beauty by now. Again, for honeymooners, romantics of all kinds and ages but no children are permitted here. All the rooms are similar but all are a bit different, too. Most have large or interestingly shaped pools which are partially inside and work their way out to the infinity edge and that lovely view of the sea and the Pitons. The look is extremely modern but many plantings make it cozy. The pools are done in different colors of glass tiles that turn multi colored and shine in the sun. It's all open and yet private when one wants it to be. There are no TV's or phones. Your are given a cell phone to call your butler if anything is needed. The rooms are all large and extremely clean. The restaurant and bar are on the top level as is a large pool for swimming, and all are open to the Piton/sea view. I am NOT a food expert but every meal we had was delicious. I know that I over use the words magical and fantasy but add extreme natural beauty, major pampering and joyous peace and you have Jade Mountain. Look up the web site and see it all. Jade Mountain, lives up to it all.

Just back from another fabulous week at Jade Mountain and sister resort, Anse Chastanet. My wife and I have now stayed at Jade Mountain more than half a dozen times and each visit we continue to be amazed by Jade Mountain's spectacular setting, the incredible food and gracious service by the staff. Sipping before-dinner cocktails on the Celestial Terrace while watching the sun set is truly remarkable. However, the evening just keeps getting better with a delicious array of appetizers, salads and mains prepared by Chef Jody and his staff and served one story below at the Jade Mountain Club. The risotto, duck breast salad, white chocolate covered shrimp, rack of lamb and locally caught fresh fish were amongst our favourites. The view at dinner from the Jade Mountain Club of the bay below and the nearby town of Soufriere under the twinkling stars is only surpassed by dessert on the Celestial Terrace under a multitude of constellations and shooting stars. No two rooms at Jade Mountain are the same, and the rooms are indeed stunning. With each room individually designed and decorated, they focus on an infinity pool that falls off towards the Pitons rising from the sea in the distance. You might think that with the fourth wall missing, you would feel exposed to the elements, but each room is truly a private sanctuary with the burbling of the infinity pool buffering outside sounds. We are already booked to return at New Year's with the family... Can't wait to return!

This is the best hotel we've ever stayed in throughout the world! the room had one wall out. it was amazing. the food was great, the people were beautiful and the beach was lovely. We had our own personal butler that was connected with us through a cell phone 24 hours a day. Nothing was impossible! Be sure to go see the volcanoes and go to the mud bath! take the helicopter from the airport instead of driving. The Road is pretty curvy and not good if you have car sickness; plus it's fun! Oh, our room had an infinity pool in it overlooking the Pitons. Millions of stars every night!
