"Decent for large families"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 3, 2009
The hotel was one of the few that had room for our family of 5 plus two in-laws and the price was good. But the hotel was rather spare with its furnishings, like one potty and one mirror (in a different bathroom). There was no shower curtain (or shower, just a hand held wand) and the bathtub didn't hold water. The office closed as soon as we picked up the key, so we had to wait till the next day to get a shower curtain, hand towels and the tub fixed. The stairs squeaked horribly, so every time someone went up or down, everyone woke up. The desk was on the opposite side of the room from the internet hookup, so that was a little inconvenient. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, though, and we would go back, taking a few items for comfort, like a few kitchen towels, detergent, and a mirror for the second bathroom. Our other main concern was the outside lights were not on at night, so, unless the moon was full, it was a bit hard to find the room numbers and was a bit scary walking back through the complex after dark. Very convenient to the bus (right outside the main gate)

This was a fantastic apartment just a very short bus ride from Disney. We didn't have a car so initially we felt a bit isolated but the bus stop was right outside our front door and took us directly to Disney as well as the Val D'Europe shopping centre (Brilliant for teenage girls!). The apartment was very spacious and clean with a nice outdoor terrace. It was also well equipped with a lovely kitchen including a dishwasher. (Ask at reception for a cleaning pack with sponges etc as they dont leave it out for you). The supermarket is about a 10 minute walk away and is open til 10pm every night. (The walk would be shorter if the back gate was open but that seemed like too much trouble for the hotel staff!) The only criticism of this accommodation was the helpfulness of the reception staff. They were not very friendly and didn't seem very keen to help with queries or enquiries. I overheard them saying to someone that it was not their problem if the wi-fi wasn't working! That said, I would strongly recommend this place for a much cheaper and more roomy alternative to a Disney hotel. Excellent value for money.

Accomodation was clean, spacious and comfortable. Only visited reception to check in and out-staff member was courteous and helpful. Equipment is basic but sufficient. No 34 bus departs regularly for Chessy station/Disneyland right outside Citea. Nobody queues but despite scrum buses are spacious and we always managed to get on. Trains to and from Paris are frequent. Local grocers is about 10 mins walk away where assistant is very willing to help-a bit pricey though. Paris-Lots of tourist rip off eating places. We found a lovely Tibetan restaurant on Rue de la Parcheminerie (Paris). Queues In July were awful. Consider museum pass to avoid queues. Paris Visite (travel pass) is useful if visiting paris regularly. Don't miss the catacombs, and gargoyles at top of Notre Dame at sunset

A good value for families - renting a 2-3 bedroom apartment works much better than renting adjoining hotel rooms. The good: nice floor plans, very clean, shuttles to EuroDisney, Ethernet connections in room, washing machines, reception clerks speak good English. The bad: rooms are poorly equipped, with many details missing. Not enough dishes and cooking pans for a family. What's the point of providing a dishwasher if you only have 4 plates, 4 glasses and no dishwasher detergent? Kitchen has oven, but no oven-safe pans. No microwave. No salt/pepper, cooking oil, napkins or paper towels. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper - for up to 6 people for 3 days. No light, power or Ethernet near desk. Bottom line: good solution for families on a budget, but you must come prepared with supplies if you want to cook.

Located close to Paris Disneyland and the outlet stores. About 18 miles from Paris. The room was very confortable, kinda felt like being at home and not in a hotel. The kids loved it. The hotel doesn't have a shower curtain in the bathroom so you may want to bring your own, but other than that, everthing else was perfect and the price was great.

This is a great place for a family to stay. The only drawback is there is NO POOL. It has a great kitchen but no linens, trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, etc are provided. There is a washer but no dryer, but a rack for drying can be had from the office. We were there in the spring and still needed ventilation so we had to sleep with windows open, so I recommend bringing a fan or perhaps a fan could be provided from the office. Overall a good value. I would definitely recommend.

Very reasonably priced and and overall a very nice stay. Would definitely stay again. The room contains all of the essentials and its "home feel" was great after long days. Odd notes: it is a washing machine only- NOT a dryer. There is no shower/shower curtain- it is a shower head. Outstanding location for Disney stay; however, the bus- which drops you off right in front of the hotel- becomes "hit or miss" as the night goes on. Transportation into Paris (45 minutes) on the RER is very convenient; however, transportation to and around Paris was more expensive then I initially anticipated. An all-day pass for ALL transportation (RER, metro, bus)for 3 dyas cost my family (2 adults, 2 kids) approx. 125 EURO. Don't forget to visit the local bakery and grocery store!

Great for Disney, only 10mins drive....also for Val d'Europe, (shopping centre and huge Auchan), lucky because hardly any shops in the village, one baker and one 'corner shop'. Accommadation good but basic. Take mugs and kettle as suggested, and dont expect to do much cooking as only two saucepans. Only real hitch, only one pillow per person, normal for France and one thin blanket. Asked for more at reception but house keeper had gone home! She must have taken the keys to the blanket store with her as well. That said reception very helpful.
