This place is about three blocks from Wrigley field and just over a half mile from Lincoln park on the shore of the Lake. Parking was included, and believe me that is a big deal in this neighborhood! This was a great little bed and breakfast, located in a very cool part of Chicago. It was about a block north of the Vic theatre, and right around the corner from an L station with access to the brown, red, and purple lines. The room was small and basic, but clean. A quirky/eclectic hotel. The room we stayed in was small and the bathroom across the hall - not a problem. David, the host, was a treasure. He was very interesting and caring. The person running it was wonderful - very friendly and helpful. The basement where they serve the continental breakfast becomes a small club on Friday nights and it was very nice. The bathrooms, however, can use a complete overhaul. There are 2 on the second floor - both had tubs and shower curtains that were greatly mildewed. The only room offered on Hotels.com was the smallest one, even though the rest of the B&B was emply - the bed was against the wall with 12 sq ft of unoccupied floor space. Who said this was a B & B? Yes it did have a bed, a tiny, double which was pushed up against a wall. The TV was leftover from the 80's and the bathrooms were filthy and unkept the entrie weekend of our stay. The room was incredibly small, old, and not maintained. The EL was close but also noisy. The floors squeaked with every step and the A/C worked […] because the system was in our "closet". The only positive thing I can say about this experience was it did offer wifi and the location was within walking distance of Wrigleyville and the ballpark. The Inn was very conveniently located near a CTA stop so it was easy for us to get around Chicago without having to rent a car. We were in town to see baseball games at Wrigley and US Cellualr Fields. The Inn had a package deal with a nearby restaurant that included the Cubs game and transporation to and from the game. The queen size bed was very comforatble, but due to the small room it would have been more comforatable for 1 person. There was a shared bathroom which worked out fine. The Inn is advertised as a bed and breakfast. The breakfast was adequate, but except for a home-baked good daily, is was basically cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea and juice. My past experiences with bed and breakfasts is that there is a full hot breakfast, often of the gourmet variety. But our room was just off the common area and the bathroom was across the hallway, which meant that each trip to the bathroom was a risk that someone may be outside at breakfast or checking in. This Inn is a bed and breakfast style just 3-4 blocks from North Halstead and Belmont Avenue. Very close to the Belmond CTA stop, so a very convenient location. We were able to get in during Halsted Market Days with only a few days notice. For parking, we were given a residential parking voucher, which meant we had to find an on-street parking spot. […] We did find a spot, but it was five blocks away. Each day a new voucher must be affixed to the windshield. We were given a key to the front door. There is a no-unregistered-guest policy. A very basic continental breakfast each morning. Enjoyed the stay. Great staff that was very pleasant to talk to. Very pet friendly which was awesome. Old building is very creaky and anyone walking in hallways can be heard in any room. Big beds in small room left little room for movement. Shared bathrooms are also difficult to manage.

I stumbled upon this little bed and breakfast when i was finding it difficult to book a room at a "traditional" hotel. Hands down, best decision ever. The rooms can be a little small, but its got everything you need; including your own bathrobes! The private bathrooms aren't connected to your room, but they lock so you can store personal items in them […] - they even have a hairdryer. The building is a little older and doesn't have wireless internet throughout it, but there is an ethernet hookup in the lobby. The management is incredibly friendly and helpful. I also couldn't have asked for a better neighborhood. Das Zimmer das wir bekamen war nur etwas größer als das Bett das drin stand. Das ist etwas für Backpacker , Rucksack rein und gut. Das war nicht das was auf den Bildern zu sehen war. Am nächsten Tag haben wir das Hotel verlassen und Alkohol hat die Nacht erträglich gemacht.
