Check in was very efficient and receptionist was very friendly. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was very quite at night. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. The eggs benedict was cooked to perfection. We didn't eat there in the evenings because of the number of restaurants around town. Would stay there again.

Flew in from the USA. Hotel staff, room, bar and restaurant were outstanding. I would highly recommend this hotel. I would try and time my visit to this location when there are no cruise ships in port. Town was great until the area was flooded with cruise ship passengers.

I will certainly be returning to this Hotel when I revisit Estonia. Overall, a good experience. The location is perfect for the Tallinn old city, away from the mobbed main square, but accessible to everything. The hotel itself is very smart, the rooms are comfortable if a bit strangely laid out (hard to store luggage). We did not eat there except breakfast (which were a very ample buffet) but the dining room has a good […] reputation and seemed busy. The "health" facilities are limited -- tiny pool which becomes unusable once any kids arrive, plus steam room/sauna. And rather unnerving "unisex" changing room ! The main problem was the service. Too few staff (and space) for check in and check out, so there were long delays. The breakfast room staff seemed disorganised and/or not well trained. However, the biggest problem came upon arrival -- we were well before check in time and expected to have to wait for the room to be ready. What we did not expect was to have to wait two and a half hours beyond check out time, with no-one apparently interested in expediting the room preparation because they knew we were there already. For me that is standard operating procedure for a decent hotel -- if they know you are waiting, they prioritise the cleaning of your room. In this case we were just dealt with in the ordinary course. So that an anticipated two hour wait became a four and a half hour wait, and no amount of prodding seemed to make anything go any faster. So -- a good location and set up, but they are definitely not ready for prime time yet. Read more

If you want to visit a magical town and stay in a wonderful hotel, go to Tallinn and stay at the Telegraaf. The staff is so friendly and tries to make your stay as pleasant as possible. This hotel has a great pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi. The hotel is inches away from the main square. It just doesn't get any better than this.

I went for a mates 40th and to be fair this hotel is far to good for a guys weekend! Can't fault it. Breakfast Locality Room All excellent. It's expensive but when I take the wife the cost of the room will be far more appropriate. Very nice.

Telegraaf got rave reviews on Trip Advisor. We had walked by on a previous trip to Tallinn. Telegraaf was an exceptionally pleasant stay. We arrived late in the evening, and the staff had everything ready for a quick check-in and room access. Staff was attentive to a fault -- offering to do virtually everything for us. Room over street was not noisy, […] though it could have been. Outstanding bathroom with great shower. Hotel restaurant deservedly rated top in Tallinn. We ate there, and it also was superb. Can't recommend Telegraaf highly enough, particularly if you reserve early enough to get a reduced rate. Taxi may not want to go all the way to the hotel, but that's no real problem, since it's in a largely pedestrian area. Read more

We arrived early morning off the ferry and were able to have our room on arrival. Centrally located in the old town we would certainly stay at the hotel again. The restaurant has very good food and at one stage we were the only couple eating and had our own 3 piece orchestra playing for us.

From the moment walking in the door we were welcomed , all staff were excellent and spoke great English , the room was extremely comfortable and very clean , lovely toiletries by Elemis , the breakfasts were magnificent ( buffet or order from a la carte at no additional cost - definately recommend Eggs Royale and Eggs Benedict with a glass of Prosecco […] which is freely avaialble. Our room was on the sixth floor and was not huge as there was the slope of the roof that took out a bit of space. Having said that you don't go on a short city break to stay in your room do you ? We both found the beds and pillows the most comfortable we have ever […] slept on in any hotel. The room, as with the rest of the hotel, was spotless. Breakfast was more than ample with a generous buffet and eggs cooked to order.A bonus was the pool area with steam room and sauna...ideal after a day wandering the streats of the old town and Toompea.
