Worst stay ever!
This is the worse place we have stayed at! Very bad service, the receptionist said this wasnt a hotel, even though thats how it is advertised. It used to be a nun house and is now been used as a hotel. Rooms and furniture are old and room feels muggy. There were no other hotels available for the night of July 4th or else we would have left!

In the heart of the action
The hotel is one block from Plaza Machado but you are not away from the surrounding bars. On most nights this is not a problem but on a holiday it will be a little loud. The rooms are huge. With a large soft bed, two couches, big bathroom, kitchen, and dining table. There are no services at the hotel. There are many resturants and bars all around. The architecture in the area is old colonial. Think Spain 200 years ago. The streets are narrow but the traffic is light. Overall it was comfortable but a little strange.
