Very nice, comfortable, clean hotel. Good value and in a very nice location, extremely close to the U-Bahn station and only a 15-20 minute walk to Marienplatz. Only complaint was that the church bells ring very loudly for 10 minutes at 7am.

It is close to all the sites, Ubahn, and is in a great neighbourhood with a lovely church across the street. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting munich!

I stayed at Ghotel during Oktoberfest, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was simple European layout, small but well laid out. Staff was friendly enough, and helpful whenever advice was sought. The neighborhood, while a bit out of the way, was terrifiic! The cafe on the corner was TERRIFIC for morning fare, there were several bars and restaurants […] within a block or so that were great for either early or late comings and goings. GHotel is a very good value hotel in a great location. All of the main Munich attractions are within short, pleasant walking distance. The hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful, and speak excellent English. The rooms are small, but clean and reasonably comfortable. The only negative was that they charged for in-room WiFi.

If you are arriving by car, parking is complicated. You have to go inside the hotel lobby to get the key to the garage and there is no street parking... ever. Room was clean and comfortable. Good size by Euro standards. Well equipped for an extended stay, though we were there only two days. Breakfast buffet was good. Just south of city center near the river. Three minute walk to Munich's excellent S-bahn, Ten to fifteen minutes walk to Marienplatz. I will stay here again when/if I get back to Munich.

Ghotel is a just a quick 10 minute walk to the Marienplatz down a delightful side street with lots of little shops and bakeries. The room was comfortable, clean with a nice size bathroom and kitchenette. We also utilized the garage (9 euro per night) which was well worth the peace of mind of trying to find street parking. Though the hotel was very conveniently located and the staff was friendly, several things would most likely prevent us from staying there again. The sink in our bathroom leaked, which resulted in a bathroom floor that was soaking wet all of the time. There was no air conditioning and the street was pretty noisy, so we either couldn't sleep because of […] the heat or couldn't sleep because of the noise. Though the hotel staff was friendly, they couldn't even give us directions to the local airport. Finally, though we indicated in our reservation that we would be needing parking (which was one of the main reasons that we chose this hotel, because they have a garage), we were notified on arrival that the hotel does not reserve parking spaces. Instead, we were instructed to either find street parking (which was difficult but cheap - about 6 euros/day if you paid each day before 9 a.m.) or public garage parking (which was around 22 euros/day). Had we gotten a spot in the hotel garage, however, they still would have charged us around 20-22 euros/day. We were NOT notified of this unavailability or charge when we made our reservation. They offer a decent buffet breakfast for 15 eu, free WIFI in the lobby, paid in the room. Bonus: a much needed laundry in the basement with fair prices. The cupboards in our room had locks which we liked & the tv could take a USB,which meant we could watch our own movies & shows when we needed down time.
