This resort is a wonderful property full of fantastic amenities. The pool area is very impressive. The spa is top notch and the walk across the hall to the wine tasting cave is a special treat. The staff was very courteous, professional, and helpful. The concierge will guide you in the best direction you desire; whether it be a special restaurant, activity, […] and/or favorite winery. Excellent resort close to many area hot spots. Will definitely stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Began disappointed but got better"
We called in 2days earlier to prepare the sofa bed for the kids cus we checked in at 10:30pm. Nothing was prepared and the carpet in the living room n bedroom near the window were soaking wet. House-keeping put a few towels on it n left. Next morn I complained to the reception, they sent me some strawberries n free breakfast coupons worth 80$. Ok let's […] move on.... I went to get directions at the concierge to find out I was suppose to get a welcome package with discounts for wineries etc which was never given to me. Well, all in all hotel is very pretty, not far from anything, really nice clean , spacious rooms, we got the one bedroom suite ,great dinner in Siena restaurant but need to improve on service. Hope they improve service. Breakfast the next morn was weird, got my dish wrong twice. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice clean hotel"
The hotel is a little further away from downtown Napa than we realized. The hotel did have a shuttle that ran every 45 minutes to downtown so that did help out. Room was nice and clean but the AC was a bit noisy. We also were invited to attend a timeshare presentation that was supposed to last 90 minutes but ended up taking almost three hours. Unless […] you're looking for time to kill skip it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Place VERY BAD PARKING"
Hotel was great, if you stay in any building other than the main building plan on walking quite a distance for restaurants and bar. If you arrive after about 7pm plan on parking and walking about a mile!! Their parking is HORRID!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Didn't care for the hard sell on the timeshare as soon as you check in to the hotel. It was kind of tacky. Also, our room was fine but I kept finding hairs that were not mine. There were big black hairs in the shower and on the bed pillows. Thankfully I brought my own pillow because i was a bit weirded out that it may have not been a clean case.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Offers lots to do on site"
It has a five lane bowling alley within the bar. There's shuffle board and flat screen tv's, big fireplace. Nice atmosphere and good service. The cafe named "Blend" has excellent service and breakfast food. My only complaint is about the room service menu for breakfast. Breakfast is only available to order from room until 11:00 in afternoon. For those […] of us that like to sleep in and still want to eat breakfast food in the afternoon, it's not available for room service. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We had a lovely time at Vino Bella! The amenities were Fabulous and the staff were all very helpful!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Beautiful resort would stay there again."
The Vino Bello resort and neighboring Meritage Inn were a beautiful, relaxing, resort. The Meritage 18+ pool area was set up for wonderful lounging and group conversations (there is also a family pool just as fun for kids in the middle of the Vino Bello buildings) We had a party of up to 8 at time and it was nice that there were places we could meet […] up. We had friends who had timeshare there and we just booked a couple nights on our own to spend weekend winetasting with them. We were treated no differently then the timeshare holders, received bottle of wine in our room, same accommodations as them, along with all the same availability to amenities. It is nice because you have access to all of Meritage common grounds too. We had stopped by early in day, thinking we'd just meet up with friends and go, but they actually let us check in at 10 am!!!! Which was great, since we weren't back until dinner. AND- the resort has a shuttle that will take you downtown Napa for dinner.. Bonus... Even the on-site winery Trinitas was a wonderful start to our wine -tasting weekend. It is a bit outside of downton Napa, but right off the Silverado Trail so still convenient. We would absolutely stay there again. Great place for 'Girls Weekend' Only thing we didn't utilize was the spa- but maybe next time. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient to spa and wine country"
Loved the kitchenette in the room and the big balcony. The proximity to the Meritage next door, with its spa and bowling alley, was a plus. The free wine in the fridge wasn't great, but hey -- free wine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was not clear that this was a condo rental and that we would have to pay $50 extra per day if we wanted maid service. The bathroom didn't even have a hair dryer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Loved everything about this place. Mini kitchen, microwave, patio..for a great price. Looks brand new, both outside and in! Not too far from the wineries, I would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"service is average"
We went there around 3 to check in, but they didn't provide room till 5 or so. Then they gave complimentary wine for delay which can not be a compensation. 2 hour delay was too much, we were waiting in the parking with kids. Not at all easy. They better improve on this.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Wonderful service, great amenities, located close to all the vineyards and yet close to downtown and local necessity shops like target.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Getting a little worn out"
The staff has always been great. New is the trying to get you to sign up for the time share. The hotel is located close to where I have to work. This is why I have been going there for 4 or 5 years now. It was excellent when I first started going there and everything was new. Now the hotel is looking a bit used and worn out. The couch was old and the […] cushions were uneven from use. Some of the wall decorations are missing. The toaster oven had the top caved in. There needs to be some money put into this hotel. We've stayed at Vino Bello for the past several years as guests of timeshare owners and have had a magnificent room with a gorgeous view. This year we booked the stay through Expedia. The inside of the room was the same, very nice, however, we were in a room that overlooked the trash area of the hotel. In investigating the difference, it seems the owners […] have priority for the better view; makes sense, but in the end, it would have been nice to have a better view. "Great condo living for parents with young kids"
Nice resort-like environment. We got a a 2 bedroom condo, with kitchen and everything. It was very handy with young kids. There is also a nice vineyard at the back of the property and a winery with tasting options. The property has a great pool and in general very well maintained. Its also a reasonable distance from Napa downtown and the resort offers […] shuttle service. However, Napa in general is farther away from Calistoga, St. Helena, Oakville so not necessarily in the 'middle of the valley'. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Wonderful staff, disappointingly room"
Everyone was so nice to us on our stay, it was amazing. But the room was crap, not worth all the money I paid for it. They have a lot of nerve making the king suite sound so luxurious.....it was a plain, dark, small room with a little couch. The air conditioning woke us up everytime it turned on, and the walls were paper thin. Also, the bowling area […] is not free, so dont think it comes with a room purchase. The spa terra was amazing, I highly recommend doing that on your stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Napa Valley Trip"
We wanted a location that would provide basic overnight stays while we visited the wine country. The hotel was clean and convenient for us. It was quiet and prettily landscaped. The people were friendly and we enjoyed our stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
We got to the resort early, before the required check in time of 4pm. We got there at 12:30pm and the front desk receptionist was very friendly and did not deny us from checking in early, she was accomodating enough to find us a room on the spot. We were really eager to get to the room to freshen up before embarking on a full day of wine tasting. Initially […] the room was very appealing, it looked clean and very well kept. There was a bottle of champagne and two water bottles waiting for us in the fridge! The kitchen top bar was fully stocked with a microwave, sink, and dishes/utensils. There was also a coffee maker with all the coffee supplies. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very lovely place."
We had a great time here. It's a really nice resort. Very clean. It reminded me of a apartment. We cooked, watched tv, and took a bath in the oversized jetted bathtub. It has a nice patio where you could sit outside or just leave the doors open for a nice breeze. It's really close to downtown. Like 5 mins. It's really quiet! I will be returning!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Northern CA Vacation"
We really enjoyed our stay at Vino Bella. Resort was beautiful and our room had many great ammenities (washer/drier) that came in handy halfway through our trip. It is at the very beginning of wine country so you do have to be prepared to drive & possibly sit in traffic.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay!"
The resort was amazing. Our master suite was very comfortable and had all the amenities of home. The pool, grounds and other facilities were superb. Location is at the South end of Napa which means a bit of a drive to the wineries, but there are alternate routes to avoid some of the traffic. A great resort with a lot to offer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Wanted to like this place, but too many flaws"
Pros: Friendly staff, offers free shuttle to downtown napa, 10 min away from Artesa Winery and Domaine Carneros Cons: The AC is loud and stops every 10 minutes, the bathroom door lock was broken, the rooms are seperated into different buildings so its alot of walking to the lobby, to the pool, etc. Lastly, it was very hard to find parking at night!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice condo units in Napa"

"Not for us, should have read more about it first."
We tried to check in at 3pm, but we were told that check-in is after 4pm and there were no rooms available. So, We thought we would get our first glass of wine, but noticed the wine bar in the lobby was closed. We asked what bar would be open for us to get a glass. She had to check, obviously not knowing, and then pointed us to the one near the pool. […] I approached bar tender and asked for two glasses of wine and asked what selection of Chardonnay he had, he turned around and pulled out a bottle and poured a serving of wine into two 12oz plastic cups. I guess that meant they only had one kind, And he then said "that will be $38.00". (Wow! $19 each in a plastic cup). I was shocked as I held out a $50 and then was told they could not take cash. "plastic or charge to room only" then I asked about the plastic and he said, "only plastic near the pool". Rather unhappy, we drank our wine, which was not bad, we asked about our room again at 3:30pm and they said they would call my mobile number to let us know when our room would be ready, but we never received a call. We went to drive around and did dinner and came back on our own about 8pm hoping it was finally ready. It was. The rooms are like mini apartments with kitchens and washer dryer, we had a view of the highway. The grounds are very nice and worth walking around. We did not get to use many of there amenities, the pool and hot tub close at 10pm. They do have a "Free" shuttle to and from downtown Napa. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"HORRIBLE TIME SHARE"
The "time share" room was ugly and too small to even qualify as a timeshare. totally misleading. The pool was WAY too small for the number of guests- you might have to wait hours for a lounge chair. We switched rooms to move into the nicer hotel- and the manger said she would send champagne- three hours later I called her to say it never arrived and […] an hour after that the worst champagne possible finally arrived. Overall this was SO NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Expensive but worth it!"
Beautiful room, spacious and it has everything you'll need on your trip. Lovely patio and quiet tenants making this get away a hidden treasure. Bowling alley on the premises (5 lanes), shuffle board game, coffee shop and more. Pool is heated to 80 degrees and spa feels lovely. Bar has wonderful appetizers to go with your wine and spiritsGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Vino Bello Resort in Napa is a beautiful hotel with a number of facilities. The grounds are very large so at first it was tricky to navigate what we were allowed to use, but the hotel staff is very personable and helpful. The bar/restaurants on the hotel site are great, the pools are nice, albeit a bit small, and the ambiance is gorgeous. The rooms […] are also quite lovely. My only complaint is that the a/c unit in the hotel room is extremely loud, so much so that it could wake you from a deep sleep and ruin your night. I thought this was a bit annoying especially considering the price per night and the rest of the beautiful facility/amenities. I HIGHLY recommend taking a wine tour through Platypus tours - $99 for 8 hours of wine tasting, Napa history, boutique vineyards, gorgeous landscapes and a lovely picnic lunch. "review - Napa"
Overall the resort was nice. It was a little bit away from downtown Napa, so you either need to use the hotel shuttle or a rental car. Nice resort, has an adults only pool which was nice. The fitness center was seriously lacking if you are really into going to the gym. If you end up staying here, book it thru hotels.com and not the individual resort, […] as it is a timeshare type place. By booking thru hotels.com we avoided some sales pressure. This was a great place to relax. The resort's staff was very helpful in advising us on places to go and what to see. We enjoyed the wine tasting.
