"Comfy and Clean B&B!!"

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Marshall Slocum Inn this past weekend. The owner Mark was friendly and allowed us to park our car and check in a few hours early. Our room, the Library Room, was clean and comfortable, exactly the type of New England room I was looking for. The location was about a 5-10 minute walk from the heart of town; was perfectly convenient to everywhere you would like to go. The staff was knowledgable - and Mark's warm breakfasts on the outdoor patio exceeded expectations!! I am wary of bed and breakfasts, and after a much research, I was very happy with my choice. I will return to the Marshall Slocum and would recommend it to anyone!!!

The location is perfect, breakfast was wonderful--My husband was disappointed there was no TV--we just made sure we were always out and about!

Highly recommend. Well located...walkable to most historic sights, shopping and dining. Comfortable, clean and well appointed rooms (we had a private bath). Fantastic breakfast. Great pick for anyone that can navigate stairs.

"A great place to stay"

My partner and I spent three nights at Marshall Slocum House and enjoyed our stay enormously. For the first two nights we had a lovely room on the top floor with an enormous bed - one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. We had to change rooms after the second night, because our booking had not specified a particular room, but although the second room was slightly smaller, it was equally comfortable and had a larger bathroom. The rooms were nicely decorated and furnished and had top quality towels and linens. Breakfasts were tasty and nicely presented, and the innkeepers and staff were very helpful. It's the perfect B&B.

Room was very cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. I had banana stuffed french toast. The owner was very helpful in giving directions to the hotel when I was lost getting there and also gave us walking directions to get around town. Would definitely reccomend to anyone.
