Stayed here on our honeymoon, couldn't have asked for a better place for the money. The staff was extremely helpful with speedy check in/out. Concierge staff was on their A game the entire time. Room was cleaned daily and very comfortable. The bar was nice but a bit expensive ( but that's London). Vauxhall tube station is only a five minute walk which isn't bad at all. There is a grocery store next door that has about everything you need. Was a great stay.

Just what we expected. everything was good except the wash basin drain was full of hair and drained poorly. surprised that the maid service didn't report it

Only some rooms have air conditioning and althoughwe requested one unfortunately they were all pre assigned. The day we arrived was an unseasonable 33 degrees celcius and the windows in our room only opened six inches. It was unbearbly hot in the room and my wife and I were unable to sleep and both felt unwell as the room was like a sauna. The staff […] said they would switch us to an AC room the next day...but the next morning we were told sorry they were already pre assigned again. I received a courteous reception, and the good news that I had been upgraded to a suite, which was very spacious. The decor was dated, but the room was comfortable and quiet. "Traditional comfort"
The staff were a delight - polite and helpful on every level. Rooms are comfortable and relaxing - but very traditional. No arty lamps and wallpaper here, thankfully. Good quality bathrooms. "Lovely period hotel in the heart of London"
As we walked towards Durrants we were impressed by the Georgian building and were not disappointed to find that the interior matched the exterior in it's granduer. Antiques and paintings fill every corner of the hotel and compliment the period wood panelling. All furniture and fittings are of a high quality and around every corner there is a different […] seating area giving this building an intimate feel and relaxed feel. Nice traditional and classy public rooms, with lots of wood and leather in bars, lounges and restaurant. Greated warmly and great service. "Building work causes noise and disruption"
Ongoing refurbishment meant a lot of noise in the early morning which we were not warned about. Room very small and cramped.

Room was small, hot, dark and suffered from noise from the well. It was poor value and, at best, the allocated room was for single occupancy. Housekeeping staff prepared the room for a single occupant. Would only recommend the hotel if a better room was available.

Durrants Hotel in George Street is comfortable, clean and very convenient. It si great value for money (July 2011) given the stylish rooms and the central location.

Durrants is located in a nice neighborhood, walking distance from Regent Park and the Tusssaud Museum (20min). The hotel is not in a shopping area but there were many useful shops around (including a pharmacy and a supermarket) and a nice fish and chips place down the street. Although our […] room was quiet, there was noise early in the morning (around 6 AM) during our stay (maybe a delivery truck for the hotel?). This could have been a problem but we were jetlagged (2 hours ahead) and therefore already awake at that time. The hotel is not typically a place for kids but there were families staying, a couple of games in the tea corner, the staff was extremely kind with my daughter (11 years) and she really enjoyed her stay. Ideal location for shopping & siteseeing. Clean & friendly hotel but let itself down by not providing a kettle & tea/coffee making facilities. Room very hot & stuffy had to sleep with windows open due to lack of air conditioning although the fan provided did help slightly. Would be ideal for filming of a period drama as it is stuck in a bygone era.
Very nice older hotel. The location was perfect for me in that I was visiting friends in Marylebone.The concierge was very helpful and friendly. I particularly like the real door key to unlock door. I would stay there again.

Gepflegtes Hotel in einem ruhigen Quartier nähe Oxford Street. Warme Aufenthaltsräume mit Bar und Bibliothek. Das Restaurant ist English und intim mit beleuchteten Gemälden. Die Zimmer sind unter- schiedlich. Ich hatte ein eher kleines Zimmer (Doppel- bett als Einzelperson) mit Bad, welches im Verhältnis sehr teuer war. Typiskt brittiskt hotell som ligger mycket bra, även om det är långt till närmsta tunnelbana. Hotellet är slitet, rummen är små och det är fruktansvärt dålig ventilation. Trist när de tar betalt för dålig internetuppkoppling trots att de tar ganska bra betalat för rummen. Gatan är dock lugn och kvarteret mycket trevligt.

Enkelte ting trakk ned helhetsinntrykket; det var ingen rom klare til oss når vi kom rundt lunsjtider, kortautomaten tok ikke verken bank- eller kredittkortene våre, gangen til rommet var under oppussing […] og bagasjen ble ikke flyttet opp til rommet slik de hadde lovet. bra beliggenhet i forhold til Oxford Street (vi gikk til den gaten på 5 min). Veldig god service og rommene som vi hadde var i engelsk stil,som var utført veldig fint. Dette hotellet kommer vi garantert til å benytte neste gang vi er i London.

Keskeisellä paikalla siisti hotelli, jossa huone oli tilavampi kuin toisessa serueemme hotellissa. Palvelu oli asillista ja kohteliasta.Aamiaishuone oli erityisen siisti ja rauhallinen (ei sisältynyt huoneen hintaan). Pinenä puutteena TV:n säädin ei toiminut. Emme reklamoineet.

Hotel ist ein solides altes Londonner Stadthotel, aber die Zimmer sind sehr klein, in die Jahre gekommen und nicht gerade schön. Laut prsopekt antike Möbel sollte besser alte Möbel heißen. Frühstück und -raum waren gut, aber bei vorausbezahltem frühstück musste man erst drum bitten dieses zu bekommen. Ansonsten bekam man die Menu um zum Frühstüch (gegen […] geld) zu bestellen. ich denke das ist heute doch sehr unüblich. Das Hotel liegt ca. 2 min von einer Strasse mit vielen Essensmöglichkeiten und Pubs entfernt, keine 10min weiter ist die Oxford Street sowie die U-Bahn-Haltestelle "Bond Street". Die Lage war sehr ruhig und trotzdem Nahe am Geschehen. Die Hotelmitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht, dass alles sauber läuft. Da wir zu früh waren um einzuchecken, […] konnten wir unser Gepäck ohne Problem im Hotel lassen und London erkunden. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet und die Zimmermädchen haben gute Arbeit geleistet! Eines der seltenen Hotels, das sich noch im Privateigentum des Hoteliers befindet. Freundliches Personal, an der Rezeption auch 2 charmante deutsche Mitarbeiterinnen. Von den 92 Zimmern, die traditionell klein aber gepflegt sind, wurden nur 10% renoviert, da "manche Stammgäste ihre vertraute Umgebung bevorzugen". Trevligt och hjälpsamt bemötande av personalen Trappan från receptionen målades om under vår vistelse men det sköttes på ett bra sätt.
Hotellet ligger meget sentralt, men likevel i stille og rolige omgivelser. Hotellet har et fin, klassisk sjarm uttrykt gjennom eksteriør, interiør, møbler og bilder. Stor betjening som alle var meget hyggelige og hjelpsomme til enhver tid, uten å være påtrengende. Vi har bodd der tidligere og kommer helt sikkert til å bo deg igjen.
